Wallace Accuses Trump of Pushing ‘Kremlin Disinformation’

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 08:00 PM PST

On last weekend's broadcast of "Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace asked Vice President Pence's chief of staff Marc Short why President Donald Trump wanted to investigate Ukraine interference in the 2016 election, which he claimed was Kremlin disinformation.

Wallace said, "Does President Trump still believe that it was Ukraine, not Russia, that interfered in the 2016 election?"

Short said, "It doesn't have to be an either-or. It can be both."

Wallace asked again, "Forget the question of Russia. Does the president believe that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election?"

Short said, "He thinks we should at least investigate it, Chris …When Russia interfered in our election, Barack Obama was president, and Joe Biden was vice president and Joe Biden himself said he was in charge of Ukraine policy, and his son is getting between $50,000 and $80,000 a month to serve on a board where he has no experience whatsoever. So his question is, why shouldn't we investigate it? It seemed like we could never get enough investigation of foreign interference in our elections for three years, but as soon as the president asks for it, it's like, 'Hey, we must impeach him.'"

Wallace said, "Well, that's not why it happened, as you know."

Muslim terrorists will try to wipe out Europe with a chemical attack in 2020, Vladimir Putin will survive an assassination attempt and Donald Trump will fall ill, predicts blind mystic Baba Vanga who 'foresaw' 9/11

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:30 PM PST

Donald Trump will suffer deafness and mortal illness in 2020 and Vladimir Putin will have to fend off an assassination attempt while Europe is bracing for a chemical attack from Muslim extremists, according to the blind Bulgarian mystic who supposedly 'predicted' 9/11.

Baba Vanga has become a cult figure among conspiracy theorists after some of her pronouncements proved eerily true.

Although she died in 1996, her predictions run until the year 5079 and this year's forecast makes worrying reading for the White House, Kremlin and people of Europe.

However, Trump and Putin can draw reassurance from the fact that last year's predictions were extremely similar and no such fate has befallen them in 2019.

The Santa Dad thing

The Santa Dad thing
December 26, 2019

Like many fathers the world over, I scrambled into the finish line just before Christmas eve to finish up the last minute shopping, decorating, and gift buying like so many do.  That said, my boys have reached the age of 'Discovery' - they are no longer the little boys constantly scurrying about, but rather, those little boys have been replaced with their doppelganger selves in pre-teen/teen form. Like nothing short of something miraculous from the Marvel universe, my superheros have grown.  With that growth came the 'Santa Clause" question.

Oh, boy.

Here.we.go.

I'll cut to the chase, and when confronted by my boys regarding the very existence of Santa Clause, I told them the truth.

I Lied.

I have been lying to them for years.

I am proud of the fact that I lied, and that whopper was the one that got them.  When they both realized I was boasting a bit, they knew something was up, and they have both long learned that when I act this way, there is yet another trick up the dad sleeve.

I took them back to the first time I made them do 'five and five'  In our home, I began a tradition with both of my children when they began Kindergarten. 'Five and Five' works like this:  The boys need to go into their closets and find five toys that are in excellent condition, with all of their parts, the box, instructions, etc. and they are to bring those toys to me so that we may donate them to our church and the local shelter.  In turn, they may then ask Santa for five items for Christmas. To be sure, the first few years of this were painful experiences, with one or both crying and fighting the process all the way (with dear old dad waiting in the wings to help). Before I knew it, they were prompting me for our holiday tradition (usually the first weekend in November).  The pain of the process was replaced with pride in two boys who were growing to understand why their old man was making them do this. One year, my oldest put a prized toy into the hands of a child at our church's thrift store.

Magic, man - just magic.

As the boys recalled their struggle and reminisced about how hard that process was, they reflected that it did get easier  and had now grown into just one of those things we do. Natural. Fun.

As the conversation shifted from the pain of that first 'five for five' to now, I asked them how they felt that fit the Nativity story, and they both correctly recalled that age old tale and the symbolism of gift giving by the Magi.  The gifts the Magi provided were indeed fit for a king, but more importantly, they boys surmised that dad was working up yet another life lesson...and I was.

I then asked them both why I would lie to them about Santa and out it came. The whole 'five for five', gift giving, Santa thing at Christmas was the vehicle for learning about Christian charity and genuine giving.  The kind of giving that hurts and is a true sacrifice. The kind of giving that really means something to someone else. Being a servant.

Yep, I lied.  A whole bunch.

Dads do get it right sometimes.

Ann Coulter: Happy Kwanzaa! The Holiday Brought to You by the FBI

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 06:30 PM PST

Kwanzaa, celebrated exclusively by white liberals, is a fake holiday invented in 1966 by black radical/FBI stooge Ron Karenga — aka Dr. Maulana Karenga, founder of United Slaves, the violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers. Liberals have become so mesmerized by multicultural gibberish that they have forgotten the real history of Kwanzaa and Karenga's United Slaves.

In what was ultimately a foolish gambit, during the madness of the '60s, the FBI encouraged the most extreme black nationalist organizations in order to discredit and split the left. The more preposterous the group, the better. (It's the same function MSNBC serves today.)

By that criterion, Karenga's United Slaves was perfect.

Trump criticizes California on homelessness, threatens federal involvement

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 06:00 PM PST

WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) — President Donald Trump is blaming California's governor for the state's homeless crisis and threatening a federal government intervention.

In a Christmas Day tweet, Trump wrote, "Governor Gavin N has done a really bad job on taking care of the homeless population in California. If he can't fix the problem, the Federal Govt. will get involved!"

This tweet came after cell phone video showed California Gov. Gavin Newsom telling reporters that the Trump administration was "not serious about this issue" and "they're playing politics."

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 05:30 PM PST

Georgetown, Delaware – The Delaware State Police have arrested 47-year-old, Tammy L. White of Wilmington, on multiple felony charges stemming from a domestic-related assault that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

The preliminary investigation has determined the incident occurred at approximately 2:28 p.m., Tuesday, December 24, 2019, as troopers were dispatched to County Seat Highway (SR 9) west of Georgetown for a possible stabbing. The suspect, Tammy White and her 49-year-old boyfriend were in a vehicle traveling westbound on SR 9 when the two became engaged in a verbal altercation that escalated when Tammy began punching her boyfriend while he was driving. He continued to drive and Tammy started punching him again and then stabbed him with a pen in his neck. The victim stopped the vehicle and was able to contact another driver traveling on SR 9 to call 9-1-1.

The victim was removed from the scene by EMS and transported to a local area hospital for his injuries.

A search of the vehicle revealed the suspect had prescription drugs without the proper prescription as well as drug paraphernalia.

Troopers took Tammy L. White into custody without incident. She was transported to Troop 4 where she was charged with the following:
  • Assault 2nd Degree (Felony)
  • Reckless Endangering 1st Degree (Felony)

The Magical Animation of ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 04:30 PM PST

Reindeer and dentists, puppets and LED light bulbs, Gene Autry and General Electric—these odd pairings might not seem to have much in common. But each played an important role in the making of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a classic Christmas special currently celebrating its 55th straight year of annual reruns. Before Rudolph lit up the small screen, a series of tragedies, twists of fortune and lucky coincidences allowed his tale to endure through decades—eventually ensuring a place in holiday tradition.

Rudolph's story began with a Jewish Montgomery Ward copywriter named Robert May. The department store began preparing for Christmas 1939 nearly a year in advance, and tasked May with penning an original holiday story they could market to shoppers. May agreed to tackle the assignment, despite difficulties in his personal life. May's wife had been diagnosed with cancer, and as the year wore on, her health deteriorated. When she died in July 1939, May was given the option to give up the assignment. But he found solace in the story, drawing inspiration from his young daughter's fondness for reindeer at the Lincoln Park Zoo. "Gratefully I buried myself in the writing," he wrote at the time. In August, May filed a story told in 89 couplets. Montgomery Ward transformed the poem into a 32-page booklet distributed to children for free—a meaningful gesture in a country still shaken by the Great Depression. The company gave away more than two million copies that season.

Star Wars' first same-sex kiss between two women is censored in Singapore where homosexuality is illegal

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 03:30 PM PST

A kiss between two women in the new Star Wars film was cut from the version released in Singapore.

The brief sign of same-sex romance in The Rise of Skywalker is a first for the franchise, but the moment is omitted in Singaporean cinemas.

Singapore's regulator told BBC News that the film would have needed a higher age rating if the kiss was included.

Sex between men remains illegal in Singapore under a colonial-era law, although it is rarely enforced, and campaigners say the law is 'silent' on sex between women.

Soros-Backed Org Fuels Deceptive Timeline for Impeachment Case

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 02:30 PM PST

For at least the second significant time, an organization financed by billionaire activist George Soros released material playing a central role in directly fueling the impeachment narrative targeting President Trump.

The news media and Democrats are seizing on emails released to the Soros-funded Center for Public Integrity on Friday showing the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requested the Pentagon withhold military aid to Ukraine the same day as Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The OMB immediately pushed back explaining the aid hold was actually announced seven days prior to Trump's July 25 phone call and that the Center for Public Integrity was harping on one line within 146 pages of documents that the organization obtained to paint an inaccurate and misleading picture of the timing of the aid hold.

The OMB strongly denied that the email, one of many, had anything to do with Trump's phone call, explaining the communication was part of an ongoing process put into place one week early.

Democrats Debate Whether Trump Has Been Impeached

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 02:00 PM PST

Speaker Pelosi's unconstitutional decision to delay transmission of the articles of impeachment to the Senate in order to gain partisan advantage raises the following question: has President Trump been impeached, or did the House vote merely represent an authorization or intention to impeach — which becomes an actual impeachment only when the articles are transmitted?

This highly technical constitutional issue is being debated by two of my former Harvard Law School colleagues — Professors Laurence Tribe and Noah Feldman — both liberal Democrats who support President Trump's impeachment.

Tribe believes that Trump has been impeached and that it would be perfectly proper to leave it at that: by declining to transmit the articles of impeachment, the Democrats get a win-win. President Trump remains impeached but he gets no opportunity to be tried and acquitted by the Senate. This cynical, partisan ploy is acceptable to Tribe because it brings about the partisan result he prefers: Trump bears forever the stigma of impeachment without having the opportunity to challenge that stigma by a Senate acquittal. Under the Tribe scenario, the House Democrats get to "obstruct" the Senate and "abuse" their power (to borrow terms from the articles of impeachment).

Massive errors found in facial recognition tech: US study

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 01:30 PM PST

Facial recognition systems can produce wildly inaccurate results, especially for non-whites, according to a US government study released Thursday that is likely to raise fresh doubts on deployment of the artificial intelligence technology.

The study of dozens of facial recognition algorithms showed "false positives" rates for Asian and African American as much as 100 times higher than for whites.

The researchers from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a government research center, also found two algorithms assigned the wrong gender to black females almost 35 percent of the time.

The study comes amid widespread deployment of facial recognition for law enforcement, airports, border security, banking, retailing, schools and for personal technology such as unlocking smartphones.

Some activists and researchers have claimed the potential for errors is too great and that mistakes could result in the jailing of innocent people, and that the technology could be used to create databases that may be hacked or inappropriately used.

The Great Cover Up Of The Biggest Scandal In American History

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 12:30 PM PST

Joe diGenova has been talking about the seditious plot to overturn the 2016 election for at least a year, maybe longer. Unlike a lot of the people commenting on this in the mass media, he is not using it to sell books or boost his cable career. He also knows how the FBI and DOJ works from a practical matter. Being knowledgeable makes him a rare guy in the commentariat. Most of the people brought on as experts for the cable chat shows know very little about their alleged areas of expertise.

Regardless, he has been one of the most hawkish people on the Barr investigation, claiming that it is a real investigation with real criminal targets. In this recent radio interview he goes into the details of both the Barr investigation and the ongoing impeachment fiasco. He is a Trump partisan, so his opinions on impeachment are predictable, but his thoughts on the conspiracy are interesting. He probably has access to information from the Trump White House.

The interesting thing about all of this is just how widespread the conspiracy was during the 2015-2016 period. In that interview he talks about former NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers, who is allegedly cooperating with Barr and Durham. What makes the Rogers issue interesting is that he was the original whistle-blower. He is not treated as such, because the media hates Trump and anyone associated with him, but Rogers was the guy who blew the whistle on the spying to the Trump people.

Baltimore on track to break record for most homicides in a single year

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 09:15 AM PST

The city of Baltimore is rapidly approaching its 1993 record of 353 murders following a bloody year in Charm City.

After two murders on Sunday night, Baltimore was 15 deaths shy of the record set 26 years ago, according to ABC News.

The two women shot and killed just before Christmas were the 337th and 338th residents to be murdered in 2019. Their deaths followed the killing of seven individuals, including three teenagers, that occurred after a shooting earlier Sunday afternoon. Those homicides, along with two other homicides on Saturday, brought the weekend total to 11.

Relative to population size, the homicide rate from 1993 has already been surpassed because the number of residents living in Baltimore has fallen by nearly 100,000 over the past two-and-a-half decades.

Candace Owens: Reparations Are an Obvious Scam

Blexit founder Candace Owens told Breitbart News on Friday that the Democrats proposing "reparations" for black Americans is an "obvious scam" meant for pandering ahead of an election cycle. "They think black Americans are stupid," said Owens of Democrat politicians.

"I spoke specifically about reparations because it's just one of the most obvious scams that's before us, in terms of saying that this is something they want to suddenly take a look at — ahead of an election cycle." said Owens of her September testimony before a House Oversight Joint Subcommittee Hearing.

Breitbart News caught up with Owens at Turning Point USA's fifth annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida on Friday.

"This is exactly the sort of pandering that I speak out against," added Owens of the Democrats' reparations proposal. "They think black Americans are stupid. They think that we're emotional. They don't think that we understand that what we need are better policies, not more handouts."

"Handouts amount to absolutely nothing," said Owens. "If they did, black America would be wealthy today, because the welfare industry — 22 trillion dollars has gone into it, and black Americans are poorer today than when it began.

The Nine Biggest Food Stamp Fraud Busts of 2019

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 08:00 AM PST

The Trump administration has done its best throughout the year to keep people from relying too much on welfare such as food stamps, but it also works hard to combat criminals who commit fraud with the benefits for financial gain.

The food stamp program is a federally funded program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and federal investigators with the agency are most often the ones who catch those engaged in fraudulent activities.

Sometimes, these investigations can occur at the state level because state agencies are responsible for administering welfare programs such as food stamps.

Investigators often uncover millions, sometimes billions, of dollars worth of food stamp fraud, mostly from people who run convenience stores in low-income areas where many customers receive food stamps through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

The liberal city is averaging more than 84 poop reports every day, the DCNF's analysis found.

Pictures showed a man defecating in a San Francisco grocery story earlier in December. Pictures from the scene showed a man doing the deed in a Safeway aisle and then opening up a store package of toilet paper to wipe himself.

Harris did not identify which agency was looking into Bevin's pardons. Two sources familiar with the investigation said the agent who spoke with Harris is a member of the FBI. The agency did not confirm or deny that it had opened an investigation into the former governor.

Virginia Governor Northam Increases Corrections Budget In Anticipation Of Jailing Gun Owners

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 05:00 AM PST

As if Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's wholesale attack on law-abiding gun owners wasn't enough, the disgraced public official and his Michael Bloomberg-bought allies in the General Assembly now want the state's hard-working taxpayers to foot the bill for their unconstitutional schemes. The budget bill (HB30) includes an appropriation of a quarter million dollars to carry out a host of gun control measures that Northam and his anti-gun allies hope to enact.

The $250,000 is appropriated to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund in order to provide for the "increase in the operating cost of adult correctional facilities resulting from the enactment" of Northam's gun control measures. Among the enumerated laws that this allocation is meant to fund is a ban on commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms, the criminalization of private firearms transfers, and gun confiscation orders issued without due process.

Aside from the insult of forcing law-abiding Virginia taxpayers to pay for the diminution of their rights, the gun control allocation is a severe waste of resources. Northam's Bloomberg-backed gun control measures will not make Virginia safer.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The oyster population in the Chesapeake Bay is in sharp decline, prompting state leaders to try multiple tactics to improve the species' numbers.

A state assessment shows the number of oysters in the bay is down significantly — cut in half over the past two decades.

"Between 1999 and 2017, oyster populations declined from 600 million to 300 million adult oysters," said Allison Colden with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

The morning brings hope for Robert Brown with the Maryland Watermen's Association. As he pulls a fresh pile of oysters from the bay's floor, he keeps some while others are tossed back into the water.
