DOJ's Loretta Lynch Tried To Squash Comey's Letter To Congress

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:00 PM PDT

Last night a leaked memo was revealed, indicating FBI director James Comey's stated reasons for reopening the Clinton email probe upon discovering what now appear to be tens of thousands of Huma Abedin emails located on Anthony Weiner's notebook. Comey revealed two core reasons for the action: a sense of obligation to lawmakers and a concern that word of the new email discovery would leak to the media and raise questions of a coverup. What he did not reveal, and as has emerged overnight from a report by the New Yorker's Jane Mayer, is that Comey also acted in contravention to DOJ practices, and more importantly, acted contrary to the "preference" of DOJ head Loretta Lynch, whose infamous meeting with Bill Clinton on the Phoenix tarmac at the end of June will likely be reassessed in light of these latest revelations.

According to the New Yorker, "Comey's decision to make public new evidence that may raise additional legal questions about Clinton was contrary to the views of the Attorney General, according to a well-informed Administration official. Lynch expressed her preference that Comey follow the department's longstanding practice of not commenting on ongoing investigations, and not taking any action that could influence the outcome of an election, but he said that he felt compelled to do otherwise."

Traditionally, the Justice Department has advised prosecutors and law enforcement to avoid any appearance of meddling in the outcome of elections, even if it means holding off on pressing cases. One former senior official recalled that Janet Reno, the Attorney General under Bill Clinton, "completely shut down" the prosecution of a politically sensitive criminal target prior to an election. "She was adamant—anything that could influence the election had to go dark," the former official said.

Hillary Sue's to remove Michelle Ad

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:30 PM PDT

Michelle Obama has endorsed Hillary Clinton, and even appeared on the campaign trail with her on Thursday.

But Florida voters are being targeted with a new ad featuring the first lady, and it's telling them to vote Trump. The ad is from Defeat Crooked Hillary PAC, which supports Trump.

The $400,000 campaign, according to BuzzFeed News, is being legally challenged by the campaign of Hillary Clinton:

On Monday, the Clinton campaign sent cease and desist letters WFLA-TV in Tampa, Cox Cable in Gainesville, Bright House Cable in Orlando, and WESH-TV in Orlando, demanding the stations stop airing the ad, according to sources familiar with the situation. Spokespeople for the stations could not be reached for comment.

Throw Huma Under The Bus?

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:00 PM PDT

There is so much in innuendo and guesses and biased opinion floating around on this 'morning after' the Comey bombshell that the only option we have is to read and watch a ton of stuff and see what sticks. One thing that definitely should stick was published late last night by Paul Sperry for the New York Post.

He scores a solid and massive point that looks as damning for the FBI itself (or at least the superiors), as it does for Hillary Clinton. It is, in that regard, perhaps telling that one of the alleged reasons whispered for FBI director Jim Comey to come forward on Friday is that he feared details of the probe would otherwise be leaked to the press.

Sperry's point: the emails that are at the center of Friday's announcement that Hillary Clinton 's entire email server investigation will be re-opened -whether formally or not is moot-, were obtained by seizing devices from Anthony Weiner in relation him sexting to a 15-year old girl.

And seizing devices was exactly what was never done in Hillary's case, though "agents assigned to that case knew Abedin hoarded classified emails on her electronic devices." They were seized neither from Hillary nor from her closest aide Huma Abedin, who now probably- and probably rightly- fears that she may be thrown under the bus at the first convenient moment.

Hillary doesn't appear to know what exactly is on the Weiner/Abedin device, but her staff is undoubtedly preparing a defense based on Hillary denying she knew anything about what emails Huma kept and/or sent. Such a defense may well be useless, depending on the contents of the mails. But by now it's full blown panic danger control in the campaign.

While at the FBI the mood may now be that a second consecutive investigation that would end in a second consecutive 'dismissal' would be unacceptable to -a lot of- agents. Something Comey is undoubtedly painfully aware of. His 'own people' may have given him an ultimatum: either you do it right this time, or we will.

Hacked memo offers an angry glimpse inside ‘Bill Clinton Inc.’

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:30 PM PDT

A remarkable 12-page document revealed by WikiLeaks bristles with a longtime Clinton aide's resentment of his boss.

As a longtime Bill Clinton adviser came under fire several years ago for alleged conflicts of interest involving a private consulting firm and the Clinton Foundation, he mounted an audacious defense: Bill Clinton's doing it, too.

The unusual and brash rejoinder from veteran Clinton aide and Teneo Consulting co-founder Doug Band is scattered across the thousands of hacked emails published by WikiLeaks, but a memo released Wednesday provides the most detailed look to date at the intertwined worlds of nonprofit, for-profit, official and political activities involving Clinton and many of his top aides.

The memo at one point refers bluntly to the money-making part of Clinton's life as "Bill Clinton Inc." and notes that in at least one case a company — global education firm Laureate International Universities — began paying Clinton personally after first being a donor to the Clinton Foundation.

The 12-page document, prepared in November 2011 by Band with input from Clinton adviser John Podesta, came as Chelsea Clinton was pressing for changes to the foundation's governance and complaining that Band, Teneo co-founder Declan Kelly and others were profiting from their ties to her father and the foundation.

In the memo, addressed to outside lawyers conducting a review of the foundation's governance, Band insists that the relationship actually benefited the foundation financially, by bringing in new donors.

"Cognizant of the Foundation's significant fundraising needs as well as my role as the primary fundraiser for the Foundation for the past 11 years, as a partner in Teneo, Mr. Kelley [sic] and I have asked and encouraged our clients to contribute to the Foundation," Band wrote. "Through our efforts, we have brought new donors to the Foundation and garnered increased giving from existing donors."

Huma Abedin Swore Under Oath She Gave Up ‘All the Devices’ With State Dept. Emails

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:00 PM PDT

The FBI found emails pertinent to its Clinton investigation, reportedly on a computer from her aide's home. That doesn't jibe with she told lawyers this summer.

In a normal election year, a normal candidate's close aide who caused even minor embarrassment to a campaign so near to Election Day would be whisked away as quickly as possible to avoid becoming a distraction.

But Huma Abedin is not simply a close aide, she's a critical member of Hillary Clinton's tiny inner circle that protects and — at times — enables the deeply flawed and secretive Democratic nominee.

So despite FBI Director James Comey's announcement that the bureau is reviewing emails from Abedin's time at the State Departmentreportedly found on a laptop she shared with her soon-to-be ex-husband Anthony Weiner (confiscated as a part of the FBI's investigation into allegations he sexted with a 15-year-old North Carolina girl), the campaign made clear on Saturday that she's not going anywhere.

AG Lynch 'trying so hard' to protect Clinton: Trump

Michael Scherer: 'It's Clear' Charity Operation 'Was Making Bill Clinton Rich'

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:00 PM PDT

On Friday's broadcast of PBS' "Washington Week," TIME Magazine Washington Bureau Chief Michael Scherer stated that a memo released by WikiLeaks "undercuts the Clinton line that the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative were really altruistic do-gooder efforts." And "it's clear from this memo that the same operation that was raising money for Haiti or AIDS drugs was making Bill Clinton rich."

Scherer said, "The remarkable thing I think is that it undercuts the Clinton line that the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative were really altruistic do-gooder efforts. You know, they have helped a lot of people. There are some programs that have been very beneficial in parts of the world. But it's clear from this memo that the same operation that was raising money for Haiti or AIDS drugs was making Bill Clinton rich. And they — and the same operation, Doug Band, who was raising money for the foundation on one hand, says I'm, at the same time, without being paid by anyone, the person responsible for getting Bill these million-dollar speaking engagements, for getting him these contracts. And, at the same time, I have my own private list of clients who Chelsea Clinton, we know, has accused Doug of trading on Bill Clinton's name. So there just weren't these lines of divisions that you would want. And I think the damage there is undercutting the defense that the Clinton campaign has used for months now."

NBC's Williams: Comey's Email Letter Didn't Just Go to Republicans Like Clinton Claimed

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 05:00 PM PDT

On Friday's broadcast of MSNBC's "Hardball," NBC News Justice Correspondent Pete Williams stated that FBI Director James Comey's letter announcing the FBI is taking another look at Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails did not just go to Republican members of Congress as Clinton claimed during his press conference earlier on Friday.

Williams was asked by host Chris Matthews, "[D]idn't that letter coming from the FBI Director, didn't that go to the Senate chairs who are all Democrats as well? It didn't just go to Republicans?"

Williams responded, "It went to 16 members of Congress, the chairman — Republican chairmen and Democratic ranking members in the House, and the opposite in the Senate."

Matthews then asked, "So it did go — it didn't just go to Republicans like the secretary said just then?" Williams then said, "Right."

'We are losing control of the streets' Merkel's Germany descends into lawlessness

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 04:49 PM PDT

GERMAN Chancellor Angela Merkel is facing catastrophe over her failed migrant policy, according to a new report.

During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office.

And the country has been hit by a spate of horrendous violent crime including rapes, sexual and physical assaults, stabbings, home invasions, robberies, burglaries and drug trafficking.
Adding to the country's woes is the fact that thousands of people have gone missing after travelling to the country on invitation from the country's leader.

Germany took in more than 1.1million migrants in the past year and parts of the country are crippled with a lack of infrastructure.

Will Loretta Lynch Still Accept FBI Recommendation?

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 04:30 PM PDT

On July 1, 2016, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch made a promise: she would accept the FBI's recommendation of whether or not to press charges in the investigation of Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state.

Almost four months later, that promise has taken on renewed significance in light of FBI Director James Comey's announcement on Friday that the agency is reviewing newly discovered emails relevant to the Clinton email investigation. The emails were obtained during an "unrelated investigation," Comey said.

The New York Times reported Friday that the emails were obtained from a device belonging to either longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin, or her estranged husband, former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner, who is under investigation for sending illicit text messages to a 15-year-old girl.

So far, Lynch has remained silent on Comey's announcement regarding the newly discovered emails.

Weiner revelation proves Comey dropped the ball on Hillary probe

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 03:30 PM PDT

It appears the FBI agents investigating Anthony Weiner for sexting an underaged girl have done the job that the FBI agents investigating Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information didn't or weren't allowed to do.

Agents reportedly found thousands of State Department-related emails ostensibly containing classified information on the electronic devices belonging to Weiner and his wife and top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. The discovery has prompted FBI Director James Comey to, on the eve of the election, reopen the Clinton case he prematurely closed last July.

How did agents examine the devices? By seizing them. It's a common practice in criminal investigations, but one that clearly was not applied in the case of Clinton or her top aide — even though agents assigned to that case knew Abedin hoarded classified emails on her electronic devices.

Hillary linked to baby-body parts scandal

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 03:00 PM PDT

Fugitive pair selling human tissue aided by Clinton State Department

It's a new bombshell in the scandal that horrified Americans as they learned unborn babies had their body parts harvested and sold around the world: the discovery that Hillary Clinton's State Department granted favorable treatment to a family involved in the harvesting.

The federal agency expedited the immigration of the Isaias family, whose ownership of the DaVinci Biosciences and DV Biologics companies made headlines again recently when the district attorney in Orange County brought a criminal lawsuit against them.

The baby body-parts trade was highlighted in 2015 in a series of hidden-camera videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress, or CMP.

Our Debt to Paula Jones

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 02:00 PM PDT

[Classic: January 22, 1998] — Suddenly nobody is questioning Paula Jones's veracity anymore. Mrs. Jones told a simple story and has stuck with it, while the president has shifted ground, equivocated with his patented "carefully worded denials," and let his thuggish, blundering, and very expensive lawyer handle public relations.

The Clinton team's line, echoed by the major media until recently, has been that Mrs. Jones is "trailer-park trash" whose allegations are credible only to dirty-minded right-wing Clinton-haters. Never mind that her allegations are consistent with a great many other allegations from a great many sources. The Clinton strategy was to scare her off, and then, when that didn't work, to make her character the issue, leaking their own allegations to the press.

But her tenacity created enormous pressure, forcing the president to make a humiliating appearance in her presence a few days ago to give his deposition — and possibly to try to tamper with other witnesses. Only he knows how many other potential witnesses there are.

Trump to Campaign in New Mexico as Electoral Map Expands with Hillary Back Under FBI Investigation

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:00 PM PDT

Donald Trump will campaign in New Mexico on Sunday, with his campaign now believing that the state, which has five electoral votes, is back in play in the wake of revelations that Hillary Clinton will be re-investigated by the FBI for her use of a private email server.

The decision comes after multiple polls suggesting that the race is now within the margin of error, with Donald Trump's Senior Communication Advisor Jason Miller telling a New York radio station on Friday that Clinton and Trump were in a "statistical dead heat."

Trump's running mate Mike Pence travelled to New Mexico last week in an attempt to rally his supporters, where he slammed failing Obamacare and outlined his plans to "pull it off the market."

The last time New Mexico voted for a Republican president was in 2004 for George. W. Bush, with the state opting for Obama in both 2008 and 2012. In 2012, the state voted for Obama by a 10-point margin against Mitt Romney.

Hillary Clinton's problem with women

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:30 PM PDT

Her foreign policy failures have harmed women around the world

Two weeks before the election, Hillary Clinton appears on track to win the presidency and become the first female commander in chief. She can credit her surge in the polls this last month to women — primarily her opponent's offensive comments unearthed from a decade ago and the various accusations that have suddenly surfaced and have dominated the media.

Throughout the campaign's debates and stump speeches, Mrs. Clinton has portrayed herself as a holier-than-thou defender of women and girls. Political platitudes are one thing, but Mrs. Clinton's record related to women and girls tells quite a different story, and should give her supporters pause.

And no, that is not a lead into Mrs. Clinton's handling of her husband's numerous sexual misconducts, the Clinton Foundation's fundraising from oppressive regimes, or her extremist view of late-term neonatal infanticide. Rather, I am referring to how Mrs. Clinton's foreign policy failures have led to actual death, rape and enslavement of women and girls around the world, as example after example will show. Mrs. Clinton may not have pulled the trigger or committed the sexual assault, and no doubt the individual perpetrators will have their own day of reckoning, but her policy actions and inactions further enabled, encouraged and permitted these horrible atrocities.

Holding Hillary Accountable

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:00 PM PDT

This week's WikiLeaks dump provided further sordid details about the Clintons' breathtaking corruption—something nobody reasonable has doubted for quite some time. As expected, the Clinton camp's response is to dismiss, distort, diminish, dodge, and divert. They do so in easy reliance on the active support of a sycophantic press corps. When faced with the most corrupt Presidential candidate in living memory, the craven media have instead attempted to portray Donald Trump's personal or business behavior as somehow worse than the Clintons' decades of abuse of America's highest public offices.

Hillary Clinton, as her supporters endlessly remind us, has spent her entire adult life in or near government. Donald Trump has not. As a result, Clinton has owed the public certain duties over the past several decades that never applied to a business leader like Trump—or to any other private citizen. Yet somehow, from the debate moderators to the editorial pages to the "journalists" whose charge it is to act as our democracy's watchdogs, the media have worked overtime to invert the proper standard for judging the two candidates. Comments from private citizen Trump that are under perpetual attack have overshadowed not only far more troubling speech but also actual behavior from public representative Clinton that qualifies as sexist, racist, criminal and corrupt—or that has cost Americans their lives.

PHOTOS: Astronauts Touch Down After 115 Days In Space

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 11:45 AM PDT

Three space travelers landed safely back on Earth late Saturday night.

The journey began in the evening, 5:12 p.m., ET to be exact, when the hatch to the International Space Station closed, and Kate Rubins, Anatoly Ivanishin and Takuya Onishi climbed into the cramped Russian-made Soyuz spacecraft that would bring them home.

About three hours later, they separated from the space station as it flew over Mongolia. Inside, Ivanishin was at the controls as the ship's commander.

About 230 miles below, as Americans went about their Saturday nights, rescue crews fanned out in helicopters around the target landing site in central Kazakhstan.Around 11 p.m., ET, when the space travelers were scheduled to re-entered Earth's atmosphere, rescuers began to scan the sky for the falling spacecraft.

"Dear Democrats, Doesn't Clinton Embarrass You?"

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 11:30 AM PDT

Donald Trump wears his character flaws on his sleeve. Hillary Clinton seeks to prevent documentation of hers, even when the law requires it. Yet despite her best efforts, facts about Mrs. Clinton that are now public should trouble voters more than any of Mr. Trump's remarks.

Not that it's easy for Republicans to appear on a ballot with Mr. Trump, especially since media folk spend days after each controversial remark demanding responses from other GOP candidates. The objective is to force them to endorse or condemn Mr. Trump and suffer the consequences.

Fair enough, but reporters don't force down-ballot Democrats to take a position on each new Clinton email revelation. The result is wall-to-wall media coverage focused on whether GOP voters can possibly support their candidate. But why should Republicans have all the fun? Democratic voters have every right to be ashamed of their nominee.

We'll review some of the reasons in a moment, but first let's consider the importance of party loyalty in this year's presidential election. In recent polls, Mr. Trump often leads among independents. But he generally trails overall because Mrs. Clinton enjoys stronger support among Democrats than Mr. Trump does among Republicans—or because pollsters don't believe Republicans will turn out and therefore include many more Democrats than Republicans in their survey samples.

Clearly Mr. Trump needs more Republicans to support him. This could happen if holdout Republicans break his way or if some Democrats decide they can't stomach another era of Clinton scandals.

2016 Has Been A Mixed Bag For LGBT Politics

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 10:45 AM PDT

At just about every Hillary Clinton campaign event this year, and much of last, you could find lots of rainbows and posters with the letters "LGBT" on them in the crowd. The average Hillary Clinton event has a healthy amount of gay, lesbian and transgender Clinton supporters in attendance.

This past Thursday at a rally co-headlined by Clinton and first lady Michelle Obama, Charlotte resident Matt Hirschy wore a rainbow-print "H" sticker and a wedding ring. Before the rally, he was still celebrating the achievements of last year, namely the Supreme Court's Obergefell v. Hodges decision, which made same-sex marriage legal throughout the country.

"If you would have asked me growing up that my parents would accept me for being gay or that I'd be able to get married, I'd probably laugh," Hirschy says. "Well, I probably wouldn't do anything, I'd run away scared because I wasn't out yet, but I'd probably be very skeptical of it."

State Dept. Tipped Clinton Campaign Off About NYT Reporter Working Email Story

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 10:30 AM PDT

The State Department tipped the Hillary Clinton campaign off last year that a New York Times reporter was asking questions about Clinton's emails.

The revelation undermines the State Department's claims that it has not worked to help Clinton during the ongoing email scandal.

"State just called to tell me that Mike Schmidt seems to have what appear to be summaries of some of the exchanges in the 300 emails the committee has," Nick Merrill wrote in a March 14, 2015 email.

Schmidt is the Times reporter who broke the news that Clinton used a private email account as secretary of state. The article was published on March 2, 2015. Clinton had turned more than 50,000 emails over to the State Department in Dec. 2014. The State Department then provided around 300 emails to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, which was chaired by South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy.

WikiLeaks: Obama Admin Chose 'Hispanic Names' For Cabinet

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 10:00 AM PDT

President Obama's transition team appears to have utilized a list of 32 "Hispanic names" when filling positions in the new administration after the 2008 election, leaked emails reveal.

Steve Phillips, a senior fellow at the George Soros-funded Center for American Progress, sent a spreadsheet titled "Top Latinos" in a November 2008 email with the subject line "Hispanic names" to current Clinton campaign manager John Podesta, who co-chaired the Obama transition efforts before serving as a White House counselor.

At least nine of the 32 "Top Latinos" listed ended up playing some kind role in the Obama administration and at least two of them became members of Obama's cabinet, according to an analysis by The Daily Caller.

Tancredo: Hillary Clinton Should Step Down to Avoid Constitutional Crisis

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:53 AM PDT

The announcement by the FBI that it has reopened the criminal investigation into Hillary's email server is more than an embarrassment to the Clinton presidential campaign.

It is a ticking time bomb that could do more damage to our country than the Watergate scandal if allowed to explode.

The Watergate investigation revealed Nixon's attempted cover-up of the June 1972 break-in at Democratic National Committee HQ at the Watergate Hotel. It was the cover-up that led to Nixon's downfall, not the break-in.

The FBI investigation has already revealed Hillary Clinton's perjury, and a new investigation of additional classified documents shared through her personal email server can lead to criminal indictments—unless the FBI itself wants to fall on its sword in a far more visible and viral cover-up than we have seen to date.

It is not at all clear that the FBI has not already been hopelessly compromised: Did the FBI have knowledge of Barack Obama's participation in the illegal email server and the president's lies about it to the public? Who will investigate the investigators?

CNN Source Fed Clinton Campaign Information

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:45 AM PDT

For the second time this election cycle, WikiLeaks has exposed the close relationship between Hillary Clinton's campaign and CNN.

Clinton's chief strategist Joel Benenson forwarded an email in February 2015 titled "Heads up – between us" to multiple Clinton aides and staffers. The recipients included campaign manager Robby Mook, campaign chairman John Podesta, and top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Benenson wrote that the email he was forwarding was "From a CNN source of mine." The email from the CNN source, who is unidentified, said: "Hey Joel – Hope all is great with you. I think you are going to enjoy a poll we have releasing tomorrow morning at 6:00 am ET that asks about 2016ers and whether they are perceived as candidates of the past or candidates of the future. Some interesting findings. . ."

9 Times Clinton Team Praised Comey And His Neutrality

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:37 AM PDT

The Hillary Clinton campaign has pilloried Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey for re-opening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.

"It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election," Clinton chairman John Podesta said in a statement Friday. "The Director owes it to the American people to immediately provide the full details of what he is now examining."

Not long ago, however, the Clinton campaign was defending Comey from partisan attacks and complimenting his ability and independence.

That all changed on Friday when Comey notified Congress that the FBI had "learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation" and would be taking additional steps to review the emails and "determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation."

The Nuclear Option - Wikileaks Reveals Even Hillary's Own Staff Knows Truth: She's Psychotic

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:30 AM PDT

Turns out the Clintons have been right all along: Lying really does work.

Poring through all these purloined emails, you get the sense that these people spend every breathing second of their day either lying, plotting to tell lies or lying about lies they told in the past.

And each batch of stolen emails is worse than the last.

Hillary Clinton is a liar. She has terrible instincts. She doesn't believe in anything. Her head is broken. She doesn't know why she should be president. She is pathological. And she is psychotic.

Just ask everybody who works for her. Just ask campaign chairman John Podesta. Just ask the people working the hardest to get her elected president.

I mean, in her most rabid streak of attacks on Donald Trump's alleged unfitness for office, Mrs. Clinton doesn't call him "psychotic."

Psychotic! That is what her campaign chairman called her.

Roger Stone: Globalists Deserting Hillary

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:15 AM PDT

Hillary has too much baggage for globalists, says Stone

The FBI's decision to reopen the investigation on Hillary Clinton's private server signals that her globalist backers have decided to dump her, says Trump insider Roger Stone.

"I think the globalists have decided that the Clintons' baggage is too great," Stone said on The Alex Jones Show Friday. "Remember, the Clintons don't run the globalists, the globalists run and fund the Clintons, and they too may be expendable."

The FBI's official reason for reopening the investigation appear to come from pertinent emails recovered from top Clinton aide Huma Abedin's estranged husband Anthony Weiner's computer.

However, intense backlash and pressure from the American people in tandem with provocative evidence from citizen journalist organizations like Wikileaks and Project Veritas is more likely what compelled the FBI to reopen the investigation only 10 days away from the election.

Mutiny at FBI? Agents reportedly refused to follow Justice Department orders

A report that FBI agents tasked with destroying the laptop computers of Clinton aide Cheryl Mills and ex-campaign staffer Heather Samuelson, as part of immunity deals made during the initial investigation of Clinton's email server, has added to speculation that an agent mutiny is behind the FBI's newly reopened investigation.

Bill O'Reilly, appearing Friday as a guest on his own "The O'Reilly Factor" program, weighed in on FBI Director James Comey's surprise announcement earlier in the day, reported Breitbart.

"Well it was quite apparent you have a series of events and it is circumstantial — so much circumstantial that Comey did not want to make this indictment," O'Reilly said. "But the big smoking gun is that Comey did not call for a grand jury. I have spoken with dozens of FBI agents to a man who have said that is highly unusual in a complicated case like this.

O'Reilly also suggested Comey's earlier handing of the email-server investigation had nearly caused a "mutiny" in the FBI.

'As you know, I've had plenty of words about the FBI lately, but I give them great credit for having the courage to right this horrible wrong.'

A Girl And Her Service Dog Head To The Supreme Court

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:53 AM PDT

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday takes up the case of a girl, her service dog and a school that barred the dog from its premises.

Ehlena Fry was born with cerebral palsy, a condition that significantly limited her motor skills but not her cognitive ability. So when she was 5, her pediatrician recommended that her parents get a service dog to help her become more independent. Family and friends threw fundraisers to scrape together the $13,000 needed for the right dog, and in 2009, Ehlena and her parents went to Ohio to train for two weeks with their new goldendoodle, a cuddly, big white pup named Wonder.

The Frys had talked to Ehlena's school about the dog, but when Ehlena brought Wonder to class with her, she was told the service dog was not allowed.

'Questionable' ABC Poll Shows Hillary Lead Cut In Half In Just Two Days

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:45 AM PDT

Over the weekend we wrote about the latest ABC / Washington Post "goal seeking" report that showed a 12-point lead for Hillary. The "poll" took advantage of all the usual gimmicks to engineer the blowout Hillary lead including a 9% "oversample" of democrats versus republicans (which, as we've pointed out numerous times, does not reflect the reality of the true voter registration gap). Conveniently, the 12-point lead was released just in time for the Sunday political talk shows which all had a field day boasting about the results.

Ironically, just two days after showing a landslide victory for Hillary, ABC and Wapo now see a much tighter race with her 12-point lead being cut in half to just 6 points. So, you tell us...did voters suddenly have a massive change of heart, in just two days, on no incremental news? Or, did ABC / Wapo have other reasons to "goal seeking" a 12-point lead over the weekend? Certainly, it seems convenient that a controversial poll reflecting a massive lead for Hillary would be "embargoed" for release to just prior to the start of the busy Sunday political talk shows while more "realistic" polls would be released just days later, in the middle of the week, without the same mainstream media fanfare.

Another interesting takeaway is how ABC/Wapo voters don't seem to react to news flow. For example, their polling data showed no change in support for Hillary after her 9/11 "medical episode" (in contrast to almost every other poll that reflected a massive decline in support) while Trump seemingly lost multiple points and then mysteriously regained them in recent days on minimal incremental news.

Agents Accuse Feds of Covering Up Record Border Detainee Numbers for 2016 Election

Breaking: Hillary Got Politically Annihilated… WikiLeaks Just Released A List With ISIS Donors

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:30 AM PDT

WikiLeaks just finished the job that started few months ago! She is not going to survive this. It's too much! Pure treason.

According to Conservative Daily Post:

Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton are the founders of ISIS. We have proven that through emails and documents leaked from WikiLeaks, but liberal media outlets still refuse to cover it.

After all, they are still more focused on what Trump said eleven years ago than what Hillary has actually done.

Because of brave patriots like Julian Assange, we have been given more evidence that Hillary Clinton is more connected to ISIS than we originally believed.

An email was leaked between Clinton and John Podesta indicating that: "Western intelligence, US intelligence and sources in the region" to accuse Qatar and Saudi Arabia of "providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL [or ISIS] and other radical Sunni groups in the region."

Citing the need to "use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets," said Hillary to Podesta while arguing the current developments in the Middle East were "important to the U.S. for reasons that often differ from country to country."

Immigration Officer: Border Deluge of Illegal Aliens ‘Is The Worst We've Ever Seen’

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:23 AM PDT

The flood of illegal aliens pouring across the southern border has become a "crisis situation" and is even worse than the record 2014 border surge, says an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer from El Paso, Texas with more than ten years of service to the agency.

The ICE agency has no room to house the arriving surge, so many illegals are being released into American communities where they disappear "into the wind never to be seen by us again," the agent said.

The agent—who spoke to Breitbart News exclusively on the condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation by the administration—detailed how his overrun agency has been forced to pull agents from their mission of removing criminal aliens from the nation's interior, so that they can help process the cross-border influx of illegal aliens.

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk wasn't kidding when he said that the new Tesla solar roof product was better looking than an ordinary roof: the roofing replacement with solar energy gathering powers does indeed look great. It's a far cry from the obvious and somewhat weird aftermarket panels you see applied to roofs after the fact today.

The solar roofing comes in four distinct styles that Tesla presented at the event, including "Textured Glass Tile," "Slate Glass Tile," "Tuscan Glass Tile, and "Smooth Glass Tile." Each of these achieves a different aesthetic look, but all resembled fairly closely a current roofing material style. Each is also transparent to solar, but appears opaque when viewed from an angle.

BEST COMEBACK OF THE YEAR

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:07 AM PDT

If you ever testify in court, you might wish you could have been as sharp as this policeman. He was being cross-examined by a defense attorney during a felony trial.

The lawyer was trying to undermine the police officer's credibility.....

Q: 'Officer --- did you see my client fleeing the scene?'
A: 'No, sir. But I subsequently observed a person matching the description of the offender, running several blocks away.'
Q: 'Officer, who provided this description?'
A: 'The officer who responded to the scene.'
Q: 'A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called offender. Do you trust your fellow officers?'
A: 'Yes, sir. With my life.'
Q: 'With your life? Let me ask you this then officer. Do you have a room where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties?'
A: 'Yes sir, we do!'
Q: 'And do you have a locker in the room?'
A: 'Yes, sir, I do.'
Q: 'And do you have a lock on your locker?'
A: 'Yes, sir.'
Q: 'Now, why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life, you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with these same officers?'
A: 'You see, sir, we share the building with the court complex, and sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room.'

The courtroom EXPLODED with laughter, and a prompt recess was called.

A Goofy-Looking Plane Could Have Replaced the F-35 Stealth Fighter

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:00 AM PDT

The Department of Defense didn't have to opt for the F-35. In the 1990s, both Boeing and Lockheed Martin bid for the next big fighter contract — a plane that would serve in each of the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps, as well as grace the air forces of many U.S. allies.

Boeing served up the X-32; Lockheed the X-35.

The Pentagon chose the F-35.

Given the struggles of the last decade with the Joint Strike Fighter, it's impossible not to wonder about what might have been.

What if the Pentagon had gone with Boeing's X-32 instead, or with some combination of the two aircraft?

At the end of the Cold War, the Pentagon proposed a joint fighter project in the hopes of reducing the overall logistical tail of fielded forces, as well as in minimizing development costs.

The DoD had not, historically, had good luck with joint programs, but the hope was that increased "jointness" between the services, combined with more advanced production techniques and more carefully refined logistics procedures, would make a shared fighter worth the effort.

All parties understood that the winner of the competition would likely enjoy a great deal of export success, as many air forces around the world required a fifth-generation fighter. In short, this was the biggest deal on the horizon of the post-Cold War defense industry.

Buckle up for the worst healthcare crisis we’ve ever seen

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:45 AM PDT

News out of Washington this week made many Americans cry, "Ouch!"

Of course, we are talking about President Obama's signature legislation, the Affordable Care Act, which is in a full-on death spiral.

Just weeks before the election, the Department of Health and Human Services has announced the premium increases for ObamaCare for next year. And — spoiler alert — there hasn't been a single year in which they have become more "affordable."

Unfortunately, sitting around the kitchen table planning your family budget for next year just got a whole lot more difficult. In 2017, the average mid-level ObamaCare plan — a "Silver Plan" — will cost you 22 percent more than 2016.

Let's start with the obvious. The average middle-class worker in America isn't getting a 22 percent raise next year.

No, after the lost decade during which wages didn't budge, this year we may end up with a minor increase of maybe, just maybe, a mere 2 percent.

But the ObamaCare clowns — consultant Jonathan Gruber and plan architect Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel — are out in full force, saying that if you switch plans, you can avoid the increase.

Conway: Clintons bring an 'ethical stain'

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:23 AM PDT

Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway predicted Monday that the GOP nominee will win the election because voters are sick of the Clintons.

"We're going to win the election," said Conway on MSNBC. "If you are an undecided voter, you are very decided about Hillary Clinton. There's really nothing else you are going to learn about her in these last 8 to 10 days that is going to change your mind."

Conway said Team Trump isn't planning on making FBI James Comey's announcement that the FBI is reopening the investigation into Clinton's emails a "main centerpiece of our messaging," but argued the Democrats made a "huge mistake" by nominating Clinton and voters are tired of Washington insiders running the country.

"We don't need this ethical stain that has been Bill and Hillary Clinton for decades now to continue," she said.

Conway spoke after a few new polls have been released showing Clinton has a narrow lead over Trump, and that Trump has gained ground slightly since last week's news. But with just eight days before the election, some observers have said it's too late for Trump to overcome Clinton's lead.

Economist Predicts Rising Obamacare Costs Will Lead To Riots

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:15 AM PDT

Now that it is widely accepted by everyone except the president in denial, that Obamacare is an epic debacle, one which boosts GDP because it is fundamentally a tax that counts toward healthcare expenditures yet takes away from other discretionary spending leading to a downtrend in overall US consumption, most also have an opinion on how it unwinds. However, few are as gloomy as economist Chris Butler of Butler, Lanz and Wagler, who discussed the rising cost of health insurance plans rising next year under the Affordable Care Act, and said he expects riots as the populace begins to expresses outrage upon learning many will be priced out of health care options.

Butler told Chris Stigall on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT to expect more public demonstrations of anger as prices move upward.

Cited by CBS Philadelphia, Butler said that "right now, I think you do have to say that A, it's failing and that B, I think next year, you're going to have a bunch of people that don't get the subsidies that make the premiums a little bit more affordable that are just going to riot because it's just too expensive for most people if you don't qualify for subsidies."

Butler said he still objects to court rulings siding with the government requiring individuals to purchase insurance or pay a penalty. In that case, he will be even angrier to learn that according to Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber, the "solution" to prevent millions of Americans opting to pay penalties instead of be enrolled, is to hike the penalty even more.

"You can go back to the Supreme Court decision on this. I'm still shocked that we are being told that our constitution says that it is allowable to force to people to buy something. When I hear people talk about forcing them, not only to buy something, but to make the penalty stiffer if they don't, I just get queasy."

Butler told WPHT there could be simple solutions to lower costs and cites buying plans across state lines as an example.

FBI never closed its Clinton Foundation investigation

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:07 AM PDT

FBI agents have looked into allegations of pay-for-play at the Clinton Foundation for more than a year despite the objections of Justice Department officials.

The foundation probe pitted FBI investigators against the Justice Department's top brass, who wanted to limit the bureau's law enforcement authority in the case, the Wall Street Journal reportedSunday evening.

The news comes as Hillary Clinton fends off fresh allegations of misconduct on the heels of a letter to Congress Friday from FBIDirector James Comey indicating that agents had stumbled upon previously undisclosed emails related to their earlier investigation of Clinton's team and her private email server.

Democrats lashed out at Comey over the weekend, accusing the FBIdirector of taking unprecedented steps to malign Clinton just days ahead of the presidential election.

"Things Have Become Quite Precarious"

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:00 AM PDT

The popular economic theme being reported by the popular press still remains. That the economy is grinding higher. That growth is improving, albeit slowly. That blue skies are just over the horizon.

Naturally we have some misgivings. As far as we can tell, business is not humming along. Earnings are stagnant. Profits are slim. Moreover, corporate reductions in force (RIFs) are being executed with the imprecise targeting of a sledge hammer. Even Google's laying off staff.

Most notably, if the economy were improving there'd be demand for raw materials and new construction equipment to fabricate it into stuff. This doesn't appear to be the case at the moment.

Earlier this week, for example, Caterpillar CEO Doug Oberhelman remarked that, "Economic weakness throughout much of the world persists and, as a result, most of our [Caterpillar's] end markets remain challenged. In North America, the market has an abundance of used construction equipment, rail customers have a substantial number of idle locomotives, and around the world there are a significant number of idle mining trucks."

Oberhelman's comments were delivered as part of Caterpillar's third quarter earnings report. What's more, he wasn't too optimistic about the coming year either. "We remain cautious as we look ahead to 2017."
Structural Deficiencies

Perhaps Oberhelman is being overly guarded. But given his company's core market of providing equipment for mining and construction he gets a unique window into the demand for materials and construction. By Oberhelman's account, global demand is poor. What to make of it?

The explosion of debt coupled with policies of mass money debasement over the last 40 years has relentlessly borrowed demand from the future. Tomorrow's demand was already attained yesterday. Thus, in place of today's demand, is an abundance of slack.

In other words, the world has been pushed well past the effectiveness of such policies. Stimulating new demand with new debt no longer results in new growth.

Doug Band To John Podesta: "If This Story Gets Out, We Are Screwed"

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:53 AM PDT

Until the Friday blockbuster news that the FBI was reopening its probe into the Hillary email server, the biggest overhang facing the Clinton Campaign was the escalating scandal involving the Clinton Foundation, Doug Band's consultancy firm Teneo, and Bill Clinton who as a result of a leaked memo emerged was generously compensated for potential political favors by prominent corporate clients using Teneo as a passthru vehicle for purchasing influence.

In a section of the memo entitled "Leveraging Teneo For The Foundation," Band spelled out all of the donations he solicited from Teneo "clients" for the Clinton Foundation. In all, there are roughly $14mm of donations listed with the largest contributors being Coca-Cola, Barclays, The Rockefeller Foundation and Laureate International Universities. Some of these are shown below (the full details can be found in "Leaked Memo Exposes Shady Dealings Between Clinton Foundation Donors And Bill's "For-Profit" Activities")

Anthony Weiner Said To Be Cooperating With FBI Investigation

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:45 AM PDT

As reported earlier this morning by Fox News' Bret Baier, disgraced former Democratic congressman and the latest cause of headache for the Clinton campaign, Anthony Weiner, is said to be cooperating with authorities in the FBI investigation of his laptop that contains emails that prompted the Federal Bureau of Investigation to reopen its probe into Hillary Clinton's use of an unauthorized email server.
Breaking now on  per @BretBaier -- Anthony Weiner is said to be cooperating with the FBI investigation.
As the Washington Examiner reports, though FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers Friday his agency found emails related to Hillary Clinton's private email server, he didn't yet have a warrant to read them. As of Saturday night, the FBI had not received a search warrant from the Justice Department, an unnamed agency official told Yahoo News, but the agency was in talks to get one. When Comey wrote the letter, "he had no idea what was in the content of the emails," said one official.

It adds that Comey has also begun participating in briefings with the Republican chairman and Democratic ranking members of congressional committees, according to Bill House, a congressional correspondent for Bloomberg News, citing unnamed sources.

Comey has started briefings with chairs of committees and rankers. As of saturday, still had no warrant. Sources.

The Internet Is Controlled by 14 People With Digital ‘Master Keys’

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:37 AM PDT

Fourteen people have access to fragments of a master key that can shut down or reset the internet. Deep in a highly secure, compartmentalized information facility protected by armed guards and biometric scanners, the group holds a highly scripted ritual periodically to exchange their keys and ensure that the internet is still secure.

No, this is not the plot of the latest high-tech thriller from Christopher Nolan or Steven Spielberg. It's reality. That group, part of the Internet's largest governing body ICANN, held the ritual several days ago after one of the largest cyber attacks took down sites like Amazon, Netflix, and others for several hours.

The cyber attack targeted Dyn, a domain name service provider, which is one of the largest companies of its kind to supply this critical web technology. Dyn acts as a translator for websites, converting domain names like realclearlife.com into the string of numbers known as an IP address that computers can more easily understand. The numbers are then cataloged in a digital phonebook of sorts called the domain name system (DNS).

Protecting the DNS is ICANN's primary responsibility, and it is the most tantalizing target for hackers since it allows them to hide their nefarious activity in plain sight. A hacker with access to the DNS could set up a fake website in place of, say, Citibank's, and users would never notice they weren't going to the real thing.

In order to prevent this, the DNS is protected by one master key that is then divided into seven smart cards locked in two high-security safety deposit boxes in El Segundo, California, and Culpepper, Virginia. The smart cards are then scattered around the world in the hands of two groups of seven online security experts or crypto officers, which ICANN calls Trusted Community Representatives (TCRs). These TCRs are selected by ICANN from an open pool of applicants..

Investigation Tightens Around Huma Abedin As Hillary Clinton Stays Close

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:23 AM PDT

Investigators are combing through critical testimony by Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's top aide, during an April deposition by the Judicial Watch public-interest law firm.

The focus on Abedin come as FBI director James Comey announced Friday that the investigation over Hillary Clinton's email scandal would continue despite his prior statements that it was completed. Comey revealed his decision in a letter to Congress after he'd gotten evidence that important emails were found on a laptop computer used by both Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

The June deposition of Abedin was conducted by the watchdog group, Judicial Watch. During the questioning, their attorneys asked Abedin "How did you go about searching for what records you may have in your possession to be returned to the State Department?"

"I — I looked for all the devices that may have any of my State Department work on it and returned — returned — gave them to my attorneys for them to review for all relevant documents. And gave them devices and paper."

Resignation letters piling up from disaffected FBI agents, his wife urging him to admit he was wrong: Why Director Comey jumped at the chance to reopen Hillary investigation

New York Times bestselling author Ed Klein has just published his fourth book about the Clintons since 2005, Guilty as Sin.

Klein had told how Bill Clinton enjoyed foot rubs, massages and romps in his presidential library with female interns and has described new details about Hillary's medical crises. Guilty as Sin is available in bookstores and for order from Amazon.

James Comey's decision to revive the investigation of Hillary Clinton's email server and her handling of classified material came after he could no longer resist mounting pressure by mutinous agents in the FBI, including some of his top deputies, according to a source close to the embattled FBI director.

If Hillary wins, we’ll have a potential blackmail target in the White House

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:07 AM PDT

"This is just a distraction," Democratic pollster Mark Mellman says of the news the FBI is reexamining the Clinton email case.

During a press conference — which lasted all of three minutes — Hillary Clinton herself said, "I think people a long time ago made up their minds about the emails. I think that's factored into that people think and now they're choosing a president."

But for people in the intelligence community -- including disgruntled FBI agents and even former officials in the Pentagon, it's not that easy.

The revival of the Clinton email scandal reminds them of just how exposed Clinton left highly classified information.

Last September, an FBI report noted the bureau couldn't find proof her private email server was hacked into by adversaries. But it noted that the private server had to be shut down repeatedly because of hacker attacks and a successful attack wasn't likely to have left fingerprints. Also, some "hostile foreign actors" were able to break into the personal email accounts of Clinton's close aides, obtaining a treasure trove of emails exchanged with her personal account.

Given the growing suspicions that the Clinton Foundation may have exchanged favors with the Clinton State Department, her private server could be of great interest in establishing such links.

In short, we have to acknowledge the danger that Hillary Clinton could be the target of international blackmail in the White House.

Consider what happened the first time the Clinton couple was there..

Ex-FBI official: Clintons are a 'crime family'

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:00 AM PDT

A former FBI official said Sunday that Bill and Hillary Clinton are part of a "crime family" and argued top officials hindered the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.

During a radio interview with John Catsimatidis, former assistant FBI director James Kallstrom heaped praise on Donald Trump before taking aim at the Clintons.

"The Clintons, that's a crime family, basically," Kallstrom said. "It's like organized crime. I mean the Clinton Foundation is a cesspool."

Kallstrom, best known for leading the investigation into the explosion of TWA flight 800 in the late 90s, said that Hillary Clinton was a "pathological liar."

He also blasted Attorney General Loretta Lynch, claiming that she impeded the investigation into Clinton's private server.

"The problem here is this investigation was never a real investigation," he said. "That's the problem. They never had a grand jury empaneled, and the reason they never had a grand jury empaneled, I'm sure, is Loretta Lynch would not go a long with that."

Flashback: Bill Clinton cheered 11th hour indictment that doomed Bush re-election

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 05:45 AM PDT

Whispers of "payback" are being directed at Hillary Clinton after she decried as "unprecedented" the surprise FBI revival of its probe of her email scandal.

That's because 24 years ago, as former President George H.W. Bush was surging back against challenger Bill Clinton, a special prosecutor raised new charges against Bush in the Iran-Contra probe, prompting Clinton to claim he was running against a "culture of corruption."

Many Republicans claimed that the indictment made by special prosecutor Lawrence Walsh against former Reagan-era Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger the weekend before the 1992 election cost Bush a second term. The indictment, later thrown out, challenged Bush's claim that he did not know about a controversial arms-for-hostages deal that dogged the Reagan-Bush administration.

Trump encouraged by early voting and absentee ballot numbers

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 05:30 AM PDT

More than 15 million votes have been cast so far this election– from early voting and absentee ballots. That's a much higher rate than four years ago. Republicans say the numbers are looking good for Donald Trump.

Trump and Hillary Clinton are on the campaign trail in the battleground states- where many have already started voting. There's early voting in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida, Indiana, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona. Then some battleground states have what's called absentee ballots in person – Maine, Virginia, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

"Early voting is where the democrats bring home. Republicans show up on election day. Republicans vote late. Democrats vote early. That's the way it's always been," said Lindsay Walters, the RNC's national spokeswoman.

But, that means that the good numbers for Republican turnout bodes well for trump.

In North Carolina, Republicans are outperforming early votes compared to four years ago. In Iowa, Republicans have cast a higher share of early voting than four years ago, while democrats are behind.
