Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:00 PM PDT A man who'd just died is delivered to a local mortuary wearing an expensive, expertly tailored black suit. The ditzy mortician asks the deceased's wife how she would like the body dressed. She points out that the man does look good in the black suit he is already wearing. The widow, however, says that she always thought her husband looked his best in blue, and that she wants him in a blue suit. She gives the mortician a blank check and says, 'I don't care what it costs, but please have my husband in a blue suit for the viewing.' The woman returns the next day for the wake. To her delight, she finds her husband dressed in a gorgeous blue suit with a subtle chalk stripe; the suit fits him perfectly... She says to the mortician, 'Whatever this cost, I'm very satisfied.. You did an excellent job and I'm very grateful.. How much did you spend?' To her astonishment, the mortician presents her with the blank check. 'There's no charge,' she says. 'No, really, I must compensate you for the cost of that exquisite blue suit!' she says. 'Honestly, ma'am,' the mortician says, 'it cost nothing. You see, a deceased gentleman of about your husband's size was brought in shortly after you left yesterday, and he was wearing an attractive blue suit. I asked his wife if she minded him going to his grave wearing a black suit instead, and she said it made no difference as long as he looked nice.' 'So I just switched the heads.' Defense Intelligence Agency Employee Arrested for Leaking Classified Information to Journalists Posted: 09 Oct 2019 07:30 PM PDT An employee of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) was arrested today on charges related to his alleged disclosure of classified national defense information (NDI) to two journalists in 2018 and 2019. "As laid out in today's indictment, Frese was caught red-handed disclosing sensitive national security information for personal gain," said Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers. "Frese betrayed the trust placed in him by the American people—a betrayal that risked harming the national security of this country. This is one of six unauthorized disclosure cases the Department has charged in just over two years, and we will continue in our efforts to punish and deter this behavior." Henry Kyle Frese, 30, of Alexandria, is a DIA employee and holds a Top Secret//Sensitive Compartmented Information U.S. government security clearance. According to court documents, between mid-April and early May 2018, Frese allegedly accessed classified intelligence reports, some of which were unrelated to his job duties, and provided TOP SECRET information regarding a foreign country's weapons systems to a journalist (Journalist 1). According to court documents, Frese and Journalist 1 had the same residential address from August 2017 through August 2018 and, based on reviews of Frese's and Journalist 1's public social media pages, it appears that they were involved in a romantic relationship for some or all of that period of time. The unauthorized disclosure of TOP SECRET information could reasonably be expected to cause exceptionally grave harm to the national security of the United States. More

Maryland Car Vs Deer Crashes Jump As Mating Season Begins Posted: 09 Oct 2019 06:00 PM PDT MARYLAND — Chances are good that drivers are going to have a close and expensive encounter with a deer on a Maryland road this fall. Deer — especially frisky bucks looking for a mate from October through December — are creating hazards on roads across the country. The odds a motorist will hit a deer or other animal are 1 in 116, according to State Farm Insurance. In Maryland, drivers have a 1 in 104 chance of a collision with an animal. Most animal-involved crashes occur around dawn and dusk as deer look for food. The likelihood of a vehicle-animal collision is based on the insurer's estimate that U.S. drivers made more than 1.9 million animal collision claims from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019. Mom tells kids they have to stay still to charge glow-in-the-dark pyjamas Posted: 09 Oct 2019 03:30 PM PDT Sometimes, it gets to the point when a parent can think of nothing else but to tell their kids a little white lie. You know how it goes: you're exhausted from work and chores, and your children just won't stop bugging you, so you make something up to keep them quiet. But this week a mom on social media has been praised for a genius parenting hack, which she made up on the fly in order to get her little girls to lie still for a while. Jessica D'Entremont, a mom who hails from the state of Massachusetts, came up with a life hack to help prepare her little girls, three-year-old Hannelore and four-year-old Emma, for getting ready for bed. However, after a clever brainwave, Jessica managed to convince them to lie down flat and still, after telling them that this was the only way they could 'charge' their glow-in-the-dark pyjamas. From the Facebook page of Governor Larry Hogan Posted: 09 Oct 2019 02:30 PM PDT They're at it again. The same politicians that raised your taxes 43 consecutive times during the O'Malley years have been meeting in secret to raise your taxes. The so-called Kirwan Commission is the legislature's vehicle to push for MASSIVE state and local tax hikes - the largest in Maryland history - that will do little to increase student achievement. The Maryland Department of Budget and Management estimates that the Kirwan Tax Hike plan will require a 39% increase in the personal income tax, an 89% increase in the sales tax, or a staggering 535% increase in the property tax. This would cost each Maryland family at least $6,200 in additional taxes per year. Our administration is fighting to make sure money goes into the classrooms and not wasted in bureaucracy. We will continue to push for more accountability and continue to fight to root out corruption and mismanagement in our school systems.

Some of Clinton's BlackBerrys wound up being pounded with hammers on orders by Huma Abedin after Clinton's homebrew servers went down or when news that Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal's email had been hacked in 2013 by the Romanian hacker known as "Guccifer"—Marcel Lehel Lazar.More
Trump campaign accuses Minneapolis mayor of extortion with rally security fees Posted: 09 Oct 2019 01:00 PM PDT President Trump's reelection campaign accused the mayor of Minneapolis and the Target Center of "attempting to extort" the campaign with security fees for their upcoming rally. Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted out a press release on Monday night accusing "the radical leftist mayor" Jacob Frey of "abusing the power of his office and attempting to extort" the campaign after city officials "preemptively informed the Target Center that it would be responsible for $530,000 in security and other costs related to the event." It went on to claim that the Target Center "attempted to pass the costs on to the Trump campaign under threat of withholding the use of the arena." This is an outrageous abuse of power by a liberal mayor trying to deny the rights of his own city's residents just because he hates the President! More

How Washington's Food Subsidies Have Helped Make Americans Fat And Sick Posted: 09 Oct 2019 10:30 AM PDT Farm subsidies are perhaps the ultimate, but secret, third rail of American politics. While entitlements are discussed out in the open, farm subsidies are rarely talked about – even though they are the most expensive subsidy Washington doles out. All told, the U.S. government spends $20 billion annually on farm subsidies, with approximately 39 percent of all farms receiving some sort of subsidy. For comparison, the oil industry gets about $4.6 billion annually and annual housing subsidies total another $15 billion. A significant portion of this $20 billion goes not to your local family farm, but to Big Aggie. (Note that this $20 billion annual farm subsidy figure doesn't take into account the 30+ years of ethanol subsidies to the corn industry nor export subsidies to U.S. farmers issued by the USDA.) The government never properly explains why this is. Certainly small farmers are growing their crops at enormous risk. However, it's not clear that agriculture is any different than other high-risk industries – especially because the United States is blessed with some of the most fertile farmland in the world, and a highly skilled labor force. UPDATED: Trey Gowdy has signed on to help Trump through impeachment inquiry: Report Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:45 AM PDT Former Rep. Though initial reports claimed that Gowdy had declined an invite from the White House to participate in the president's defense, the former GOP representative of South Carolina is now on board to assist, according to Law & Crime. Gowdy was approached by the White House this week as potential legal counsel for Trump as he prepares to fight against an impeachment investigation stemming from a July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to a report from CNN. Though Gowdy is an accomplished attorney, the nature of his involvement in Trump's fight against impeachment is not immediately clear. More
How the Hobbs Act Could Sink Joe Biden Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:30 AM PDT To say the drive-by media have circled the wagons for Joe Biden is putting it mildly. Every day, in print and on their TV broadcasts, they thunder that there is no evidence! He broke no laws when his son raked off millions of dollars from China and Ukraine for no-show jobs. Even New Jersey's most famous traffic judge seems to be confused. A guy in Ukraine also posits that Biden broke no laws there, either, as if there were really any laws to break in that wild West corruption show. But as an American lawyer, who often has to advise public officials on state and federal ethics laws, I can say yes, just by the public record we already have, Joe Biden, his son, their bag-man Devon Archer, and possibly John Kerry likely violated 18 USC 1951, the dreaded Hobbs Act, the federal anti-extortion law. Hobbs has a really nasty bite to it for public officials, because it prohibits not just bribery, but merely the collecting of political tribute under color of official right. A couple of important things to remember about Hobbs: "Color of official right" applies only to public officials while they are in office. This guy, for example, is very confused, mixing up Jeb Bush's sleazy fundraising while out of office with Hillary's activities in and out of office. It would apply to Hillary, for example, only during the time she was secretary of state. Also, the illegal payoff money can go to a close relative or associate, or even a charity, if there is enough of a connection to the accused, like the Clinton Foundation scam. Anybody assisting the public official in the pay-offs would also be guilty of conspiracy, at the very least. More
Whistleblower ‘Had A Significant’ Tie To Democrat Challenging Trump In 2020 Election, Report Says Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:15 AM PDT A new report from The Washington Examiner on Tuesday revealed that the CIA whistleblower reportedly "had a significant" connection to a 2020 Democrat presidential candidate who is challenging President Donald Trump in the election. "In an Aug. 26 letter, the Intelligence Community's inspector general, Michael Atkinson, wrote that the anonymous whistleblower who set off the Trump-Ukraine impeachment fight showed 'some indicia of an arguable political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate,'" The Examiner's Byron York wrote. "Now, however, there is word of more evidence of possible bias on the whistleblower's part. Under questioning from Republicans during last Friday's impeachment inquiry interview with Atkinson, the inspector general revealed that the whistleblower's possible bias was not that he was simply a registered Democrat," York continued. "It was that he had a significant tie to one of the Democratic presidential candidates currently vying to challenge President Trump in next year's election." More

'Ten years in detention is better than a day here,' says migrant eager to enter the US from Mexico Posted: 09 Oct 2019 08:30 AM PDT Admission to the migrant detention facilities is apparently all the rage, despite what the hysterical national media have been saying for the last two years. The Los Angeles Times captured the sentiment Monday in an interview with a Cuban woman who was waiting in Mexico for even just the chance at a coveted spot in a United States detention center. "Ten years in detention is better than a day here," said the 22-year-old who identified herself only as Dany, a lesbian who had traveled to the U.S. border with her partner in hopes of claiming asylum. That glowing endorsement of the Trump administration's care for illegal immigrants sneaking their way into the country comes three months after CBS's Norah O'Donnell aired an interview with one detainee who described her stay as "excellent." Read the White House’s official response to Speaker Pelosi and Democrat leaders Posted: 09 Oct 2019 08:00 AM PDT This evening, the White House sent an eight-page letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other House Democrat leaders, responding to the unprecedented, unconstitutional "impeachment inquiry" launched against President Donald J. Trump. The letter, written by White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, lays out how Democrat leaders designed a politically motivated inquiry that violates the constitutionally mandated due process protections:
The facts are clear. The House Democrats' "impeachment inquiry," undertaken without a single vote of authorization by the full House—an astonishing breach of precedent—is constitutionally invalid and violates both basic due process rights and the separation of powers. By the admission of its own advocates in Congress, it plainly seeks to reverse the election of 2016 and to influence the election of 2020. Not only is there no legitimate basis for the inquiry, but the committees' actions in pursuing it themselves raise serious questions that demand full transparency with the American people. 'Should be paid by campaign funds': Giuliani slams Schiff impeachment inquiry as political Posted: 09 Oct 2019 07:30 AM PDT Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, blasted House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff over his statement that the administration's blocking of a key impeachment inquiry witness from testifying could help form an article of impeachment. The California Democrat made the accusation after the State Department early Tuesday morning blocked testimony by U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland hours before his scheduled appearance at a closed-door session on Capitol Hill. The Trump administration also refused to turn over text messages sent by Sondland related to concerns Trump was withholding security aid to Ukraine in an effort to get the government to investigate actions by Democrats during the 2016 election. Posted: 09 Oct 2019 06:30 AM PDT OCEAN CITY — In the first real public forum on Monday since another "intolerable" unsanctioned motor vehicle event two weeks ago, it was clear nerves are still raw and tensions remain high, but there appears to be some willingness for reconciliation. It was clear from the beginning during Monday's Mayor and Council meeting most of the large crowd in attendance was not there for the mundane agenda. When it came time for the public comment period, many spoke out against the unsanctioned H2Oi event while others sought answers from their city leaders. For the first time, publicly at least, even some participants in the unsanctioned event made their feelings known. The public comment session ran the gamut from fear and anger to distrust and resentment from both sides. Respect was a recurring theme and both sides appeared to offer olive branches and attempts at reconciliation. When the lengthy public comment period ended, one thing was perfectly clear, however. Hillary Clinton to Trump: 'Don't tempt me' into entering the 2020 presidential race Posted: 09 Oct 2019 06:15 AM PDT Washington (CNN)Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday shot back at President Donald Trump after he taunted her about entering the 2020 presidential election, saying, "Don't tempt me." "Don't tempt me. Do your job," Clinton said. The terse comment came in response to an earlier tweet from Trump that said, "I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren." "Only one condition," he added. "The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting 'C' Subpoena!." More
Maryland panel votes to remove Confederate flag on plaque Posted: 09 Oct 2019 06:00 AM PDT Over the objections of Maryland House Speaker Adrienne A. Jones, the State House Trust has decided to amend, but not discard, a plaque that pays tribute to both Union and Confederate soldiers who served and died in the Civil War. In one of her first actions after becoming speaker in May, Jones proposed removing the plaque at the State House because, she said, its authors sought to avoid what is history: "that there was a right side and a wrong side in the Civil War." Jones called it the "last Confederate vestige" at the State House and said the plaque "does not seek to correctly document history, but instead sympathizes with Confederate motivations and memorializes Confederate soldiers." Posted: 09 Oct 2019 05:30 AM PDT THE RESPONSE HAS BEEN GREAT, SEATS ARE GOING FAST, SIGN UP NOW (donothing.loseall@gmail.com). STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, AND HAVE FUN DOING IT! THE DEMOCRATS/LIBERALS/SOCIALISTS/PROGRESSIVES DO NOT WANT TO CO-EXIST WITH US, THEY WANT TO RULE US! BUS STOPS & TIMES:
Tasteful, to-the-point signs (Impeachment, Woman for Trump, Drain the Swamp, Investigate Biden etc) are welcome, and some folks are bringing portable chairs (chairs, signs, large coolers etc can be stored in the luggage area under the bus). Coolers on bus ok but no pop-tops, screw caps only . . . and please, no litter, spills, crumbs, on the bus. The owner and drivers of this bus company are very good to us, let's be extra neat. We will have bottled water, snacks, and some finger food for you on the bus, but you should bring your own sandwiches etc. As reported by The Hill the plan is to rally at the Capitol building and then enter the "Halls of Congress" to "have our voices heard by those that are actually going to vote on impeachment". We're not sure about what the organizers mean by that, we'll find out when we get there. On the ride to the rally we will advise you of the time and place that the bus is to be re-boarded for the trip home. Again, make sure that you have the above 'emergency number' in your phone in case you have trouble getting back to the bus after the rally. Also, we request that each of you, or at least one person in your party, give Brian your cell number as you board in the morning. donothing.loseall@gmail.com email to contact us And remember to 'like' and 'follow' our facebook page.

Senate GOP reports record fundraising haul for year prior to an election Posted: 09 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT The committee tasked with electing Republican senators amid the impeachment battle will report raising $47.7 million so far this year, an amount that is already greater than ever raised before in the year prior to an election year. The National Republican Senatorial Committee is crucial to protecting vulnerable incumbents like Susan Collins of Maine, Cory Gardner of Colorado, and Martha McSally of Arizona. In the three-month period ending Sept. 30, the NRSC raised roughly $13.1 million, including approximately $5 million in September — and made the last payment on a $17 million debt left over from the midterm elections. The NRSC shared these figures with the Washington Examiner on Tuesday, ahead of its upcoming Federal Election Commission filing. More
