March For Trump update

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 11:30 AM PDT

Our spokesperson, Carol Frazier, will be be on WGMD radio (92.7, the Jake Smith Show) at 9:35 AM Monday October 6, 2019 promoting our tentative participation in the Trump rally in DC. (Tentative because we need enough riders to make it cost effective and practical to rent a bus.)
Folks, your vote, your voice, your religious freedom is in jeopardy . . . stand up for what you believe in. You have the opportunity to influence public opinion by showing your support for our President, you have the opportunity to show this president - - who has been under attack from day one - - that we stand with him.
And we will have fun doing it! A luxury bus, breakfast snacks, a movie on the way home, and a social either on the road or when we arrive home (TBA), depending on the time.

We are anticipating a cost of $20 per person.

WE MUST KNOW if we will have enough people by Thursday October the 10th, so that the bus company has time to reserve parking in the designated area. Please send email to

( DoNothing.LoseAll@gmail.com ) or message us on our facebook page to confirm your participation, reserve a seat, or ask a question.

The rally starts at 10, so we're probably looking at a 6 AM start, we'll let the bus company make that call. We'll aim to be home by four'ish.

H2o Punks Need Not Ever Return To Ocean City Maryland

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

Every one of you know me and my style, I tell it like it is and these unruly punks are criminals who need not ever return to Ocean City Maryland. Oh I'm sure there were some kind and gentle kids in the group but I challenge you to show me where they were because this weekend was out of control. It destroyed businesses outside of cheap nasty food like McDonald's and Burger King where the patrons don't have to tip for service.

I've been asked if these people were good or bad for my business this past weekend. I will post a sign next year stating I DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS. These kids scared the crap out of the entire Eastern Shore residents to the point they stayed home. They raided WalMart by parking hundreds of vehicles everywhere and using the parking lot like it was a sanctioned car show. They finally had to call in the police and have them all removed, it was crazy. They weren't there to shop or build economic development. They were there to take over and control, period.

Hopefully they come up with a solution to keep these punks away from here at all. ANYONE defending these punks in comments clearly did not visit Ocean City this weekend and or they're one of the very punks that hide behind anonymous who were a part of the havoc we had to deal with.

So the Mayor of Ocean City claims he's going to search for a solution. Here's a start. As they come over the Rt. 50 and Rt. 90 bridges, test the decibel level of their exhaust first. Have them rev their engines right then and there and if it's too loud make them turn around and leave. That will get rid of 95% of these illegal vehicles right out of the gate. It will also create a backup so long it will hopefully discourage them from coming or returning.

CAROZZA VOWS ACTION AFTER HAVOC AND DESTRUCTION CAUSED BY H2Oi PARTICIPANTS

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

Ocean City, MD—Senator Mary Beth Carozza (District 38) vowed to work with Ocean City officials, law enforcement, her colleagues in the legislature, and the Hogan Administration to take action in response to the havoc and destruction caused by H2Oi participants in Ocean City Maryland over the weekend.

"I join with Mayor Meehan and all our community stakeholders, partners in law enforcement, in the legislature, and Governor Hogan's Administration in working together to take the necessary actions to protect our home community," Senator Mary Beth Carozza said. "We will do whatever it takes to protect the residents and visitors of Ocean City. All options are on the table for future action."

During the 2019 legislative session at the request of the Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan and Police Chief Ross Buzzuro, Senator Carozza introduced legislation (Senate Bill 682) to increase the penalties for traffic violations in Special Events Zones in Worcester County for negligent driving, driving or participating in a race or speed contest, and other reckless driving. Delegate Wayne Hartman (District 38C) introduced a companion Special Event Zones bill in the House of Delegates.

The original Special Event Zone legislation, introduced by then Delegate Carozza and passed in 2018, established a Special Event Zone during motor vehicle events in Ocean City and allowed for increased fines for speeding to begin to increase public safety. However, the 2018 bill did not include increased penalties for other violations like reckless and negligent driving in a Special Event Zone. In 2018, 2,222 total citations were issued for violations in Special Event Zones, almost a third of those citations were for violations not covered in the current Special Event Zone law. Senate Bill 682 would have covered these additional violations.

The 2019 bill would have increased the penalty for traffic violations in a Special Event Zone to a $1,000 fine if convicted of negligent driving; driving or participating in a race or speed contest; or skidding, spinning of wheels, or causing excessive noise.

"The increased reckless, destructive, and illegal activity over the past H2Oi weekend demonstrated that the Maryland General Assembly should have passed our 2019 special events increased penalties bill. I will continue to work with Mayor Meehan, Police Chief Buzzuro, the Hogan Administration, and my colleagues to take all necessary actions, including legislation, to protect our home community."

Young Assateague Horse Killed By Park Vehicle

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

ASSATEAGUE — A wild horse on Assateague was struck and killed by a park vehicle early Sunday morning, serving as a grim reminder to motorists to obey speed limits and use caution around the island's famed residents.

In the predawn hours before first light on Sunday, the chestnut mare N2BHS-ALQ, or Connie's Girl, was standing in the road on a curve on Bayberry Drive when it was struck by a park vehicle. The park vehicle struck the horse in the hind quarter and the animal did not survive the collision. The park employee was uninjured and the incident is under investigation.

Connie's Girl was born in April 2018 to Ms. Macky with the likely sire being Yankee. The band frequented the developed area and campgrounds at the Assateague Island National Seashore and Assateague State Park. Connie's Girl in the 34th wild horse to be hit by a vehicle and killed on the island since 1982. Another 17 horses have been struck and injured.

"As always, the loss of one of our horses saddens park staff," Assateague Island National Seashore officials said in a statement. "The National Park Service reminds everyone to be alert when driving on Assateague Island, especially at night."

The 12-year-old girl who accused 3 white boys at her school of cutting her dreadlocks now says she made it up

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

A 12-year-old Virginia girl who accused three white boys of cutting her dreadlocks now says her story was false.

Amari Allen said last week that she was cornered on the playground, where one boy covered her mouth, another grabbed her arms, and a third cut off sections of her hair. She said they called her hair "nappy" and told her she was "ugly," NBC Washington reported at the time.

But on Monday, her family and the school, Immanuel Christian School in Springfield — where Karen Pence, the wife of Vice President Mike Pence, works part time as an art teacher — released statements saying that Allen's story was false.

Democratic presidential primary contender Bernie Sanders is off the campaign trail for a few days after he had emergency surgery Tuesday to repair a blocked artery, his campaign announced.

The campaign said Wednesday that doctors have "successfully inserted" two stents, and the candidate is now "conversing and in good spirits," but will be taking a few days to rest.

"We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates," Sanders' campaign said in a statement.

OC taxi business dying in face of Uber, Lyft

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

The traditional taxi industry in Ocean City is in trouble, as the days when people called or waved down a cab are fading into the shadows of higher-tech ride share services.

Now, people swipe into their smartphones and click on the Uber or Lyft app from their couches, derailing a once prosperous industry and leaving it struggling to survive.

"There won't be taxis in Ocean City in five years at this rate," said one taxi operator, who asked not to be identified for fear or reprisals.

One reason, he said, is the lack of regulations for Uber and Lyft drivers, while his industry must continue to conform to a higher standard.

A Virginia teacher who was fired last year for refusing to to refer to a transgender student by male pronouns is now suing the school board that unanimously voted to terminate him. The teacher, Peter Vlaming, taught French at West Point High School for nearly seven years.

Vlaming filed his suit in state court on Monday, according to CBS News Richmond affiliate WTVR.

Amber Guyger convicted of murder in wrong-apartment killing of innocent man

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

A Texas jury rejected former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger's self-defense claims and convicted her on Tuesday of murder in the fatal 2018 shooting of an innocent man eating ice cream in his own home after mistaking his apartment for her own.

The 12-member jury reached its verdict deliberating for less than two days. Guyger stood as Dallas County District Court Judge Tammy Kemp read decision.

"We the jury unanimously find the defendant Amber Guyger guilty of murder as charged in the indictment," Kemp read.

The family members of Botham Jean, the neighbor Guyger shot to death on Sept. 6, 2018, burst into tears as the jury granted them a measure of justice. Jean's mother, Allison Jean, held her head back and stared at the ceiling, raising her hands, thankful that justice for her son had been served.

NY TIMES REMOVES RACE CONTEXT AFTER BLACK GIRL ADMITS FAKING HATE CRIME

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

After a 12-year-old African-American girl admitted she lied about a group of white boys cutting off her dreadlocks, the New York Times decided to strip the fact that the accused were "white" from its follow up headline.

The global mainstream media, as well as lawmakers like Rashida Tlaib, amplified Amari Allen's falsehood after she claimed that three white male classmates had pinned her down, called her "nappy" and "ugly" and cut her hair.

This prompted a wave of sympathy for Allen, a lucrative GoFundMe, and a volley of resentment towards young white men.

Rep. Maxine Waters: Trump Deserves 'Solitary Confinement'

Posted: 06 Oct 2019 04:00 AM PDT

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., has been calling for President Donald Trump's impeachment for months, but now she wants him to be put in prison and placed in solitary confinement.

"I'm calling on the GOP to stop Trump's filthy talk of whistleblowers being spies & using mob language implying they should be killed," Waters, who chairs the Financial Services Committee, tweeted. "Impeachment is not good enough for Trump. He needs to be imprisoned & placed in solitary confinement. But for now, impeachment is the imperative."

This is not the first time Waters has said Trump should be put in prison, but she has not before made a call to lock him up all alone.

She also on Tuesday accused the president of "dog whistling" to his "white supremacists' to create fear because he knows he will be impeached.
