Posted: 01 Feb 2020 08:30 PM PST It tells the truth, by a woman who has given the supreme sacrifice, her son. 'THE SALTY SAILOR' and the 'FIREMAN'. Read this once, pause for a minute or two to think honestly about it, then read it again. I can find no fault with it... The views this mother has about Donald Trump are much like many other people. Her characterization of President Trump as the "Salty Sailor" or, as "The Fireman," paint an excellent picture!! She has written many great books about her son and family. This is a comment from KAREN VAUGHN, mother of Aaron Vaughn, U. S. Navy Seal. "Sometimes God uses the no-nonsense, salty sailor to get the job done. Appreciating what the man is doing doesn't mean we worship the salty sailor or even desire to be like the salty sailor. It doesn't even mean God admires the salty sailor. Maybe 'He' just knows he's necessary for such a time as this. I believe with all my heart that God placed that salty sailor in the White House to give this nation one more chance in November 2020. Donald Trump is what he is – and he is still the man he was before the election – and without guilt. I very much admire what that 'salty sailor' is accomplishing. He's not like me. That's 'Okay' with me. I don't want to be like him. I will never behave like him. I know we've NEVER had a man like him lead our nation before. It's crazy and a little mind-blowing at times, but I can't help admire the stamina and ability he has – acting with his heart rather than a calculated, PC, think tank-screened, carefully edited script. I still believe that is' WHY' he became our President and 'WHY' he's been able to handle a landslide of adversity and STILL pass unprecedented amounts of good legislation for our country AND do great works for MANY other nations, including Israel. I'm 'THRILLED' with what he's doing for my nation, for the cause of Christ (whether intentional or unintentional, doesn't matter to me), and for the concept of rebuilding America and putting her FIRST. I will not be ashamed of my position because others don't see him through the same lens. Should it matter to me if, a fireman drops an f-bomb while he's pulling me from a burning building? Would I really care about what came out of his mouth in those moments? Heck no! I'd CARE about what he was DOING. He wasn't sent there to save my soul and I'm not looking to him for spiritual guidance. All I'm thinking in those moments is, "Thank you, GOD, for sending the fireman." AND DONALD TRUMP IS 'OUR FIREMAN'. I'll soon post this article again for those who still might not understand me. This man is crass. 'Okay.' He's not careful with what he says. 'Okay.' You feel offended that he's not a typical statesman. 'Okay.' But he is DOING THE JOB of rebuilding the nation my son died for...the nation I feared was on a fast track to becoming a hopeless cause. "Forgive me if I'm smiling." Written by, KAREN VAUGH |
Posted: 01 Feb 2020 09:02 PM PST Burger King is claiming it never advertised its 'Impossible Whopper' as vegan after a customer sued the company for cooking the plant-based pattie on the same grill as meat burgers. The company claims it was open about the way its plant-based burger was cooked and that the customer's claim 'has no basis'. A vegan customer sued the fast-food chain in November saying he was 'duped' into buying the Impossible Whopper at a premium price. The customer is seeking damages on behalf of all U.S. consumers who bought it. More |
Posted: 01 Feb 2020 07:30 PM PST A mother from Texas who was attempting to medically transition her seven-year-old son into a girl has lost a court case. Dr. Anne Georgulas, who is the mother of James Younger, originally won her previous court case last October that allow her to give him hormones that block puberty. But the decision by the jury meant the boy's father, Jeff Younger, who opposed such a procedure, had absolutely no say in his son's medical decisions. Now that ruling has been overturned after Dallas Judge Mary Brown ruled on Thursday that both parents should have joint conservatorship over their child which would mean all decisions would have to be agreed upon by both parents. Posted: 01 Feb 2020 06:30 PM PST Ted Cruz appeared to mock Nancy Pelosi's infamous handclap on the floor of the Senate Friday after 51 Republicans voted against calling witnesses in President Trump's impeachment trial - effectively ending Democrat's attempts to remove him from office. The Texas senator, 49, was seen mimicking the clap as he spoke with other Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, before the vote was called around 5 pm. Last year, Speaker Pelosi 'condescendingly' clapped her hands at President Trump following his State Of The Union address - a move which sparked international headlines and a flurry of memes. On Friday, Cruz's imitation of the distinct gesture quickly went viral on Twitter, where it divided users. More |
Democrats Vow Trump Probes to Go On After Impeachment Trial Ends Posted: 01 Feb 2020 06:00 PM PST President Donald Trump's scrutiny by Congress won't end with his expected acquittal in the Senate. House Democrats have a list of inquiries they plan to pursue when the impeachment saga is over. "The investigations and oversight will continue," said Representative Carolyn Maloney of New York, head of the Oversight and Reform Committee, the lead investigative panel in the House. "We've got several cases." Democrat-led committees in the House will keep seeking a wide range of evidence and testimony as they look into Trump's administration, his policies and his businesses and finances. They also plan to keep a focus on his conduct in dealing with Ukraine. In addition, there are multiple court cases running on separate tracks seeking access to his tax returns, testimony from former White House officials and financial records to show whether the president is unlawfully profiting from foreign governments. Three of the cases will be considered by the U.S. Supreme Court in the spring. This all will be occurring [of course] in the middle of a election campaign in which both parties will be fighting for control of the White House and both chambers of Congress. More |

China slams Trump's coronavirus travel limits: 'Not a gesture of goodwill' Posted: 01 Feb 2020 05:00 PM PST China's death toll from a new virus rose to 259 on Saturday and a World Health Organization official said other governments need to prepare for"domestic outbreak control" if the disease spreads in their countries. Beijing criticized Washington's order barring entry to most foreigners who visited China in the past two weeks. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced similar measures on Saturday, following Japan and Singapore. Meanwhile, South Korea and India flew hundreds of their citizens out of Wuhan, the city at the center of an area where some 50 million people are prevented from leaving in a sweeping anti-virus effort. The evacuees went into a two-week quarantine. Indonesia also sent a plane. On Friday, the United States declared a public health emergency and President Donald Trump signed an order barring entry to foreign nationals, other than immediate family of American citizens and permanent residents, who visited China within the last 14 days, which scientists say is the virus's longest incubation period. China criticized the U.S. controls, which it said contradicted the WHO's appeal to avoid travel bans, and "unfriendly comments" that Beijing was failing to cooperate. More |
Virginia Democrat embarrasses himself while trying to define assault weapons at town hall Posted: 01 Feb 2020 04:30 PM PST Virginia Democratic Del. Mark Levine held a town hall last weekend, during which he was asked to define what guns he was seeking to outlaw with a proposed assault weapons ban. His answer had audience members laughing at his obvious lack of knowledge about firearms, according to the Washington Examiner. Levine said his legislation was aimed specifically at reducing the frequency of mass shootings. Hunters, Levine said, prefer to use bolt action rifles. People who simply want a gun for self-defense should prefer a shotgun or a pistol. So he's not attempting to ban those. "Mass shooters use guns that go like this," Levine said, as he waved an imaginary gun back and forth, spraying pretend bullets like an action movie hero. "Guns that go like this are widely inaccurate, that's why hunters don't like them. Mass shooters do like them." More |
Barbra Streisand: Adam Schiff Would Make a Great President Posted: 01 Feb 2020 04:00 PM PST Pop icon, Constitutional scholar, and noted political pundit Barbra Streisand says she sees in Adam Schiff (D-CA), the face of the Democrat impeachment campaign against President Donald Trump, a man who "would make a great president." "Adam Schiff is so impressive. His knowledge of the law… his passion… his articulateness. His sincerity!" Barbra Streisand said, pouring praise on the partisan lawmaker. "He speaks the truth and would make a great president." Babs may want to pomp the breaks because as it stands, only 27 percent of America has a positive opinion of Rep. Schiff according to YouGov data. The same polling outfit reports that President Trump's approval among Americans sits at 39 percent. More |

Stacey Abrams plans to be president by 2040 Posted: 01 Feb 2020 03:00 PM PST Democrat Stacey Abrams, who lost the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election to Republican Brian Kemp, said in an interview released Friday that she has a "plan" to be president of the United States by 2040. In the FiveThirtyEight interview, part of a series of stories about women running for office, Abrams discusses how race and gender played a role in her failed run for governor and the rumors that she could be a vice presidential candidate. But it was her comments about an even higher office that grabbed the most attention. "Do you think the country will elect a woman president in the next 20 years?" asked reporter Clare Malone. "Yes, absolutely," Abrams replied flatly. More https://www.foxnews.com/politics/stacy-abrams-plans-to-be-president-by-2040 |
Chinese military officer busted for posing as Boston University student Posted: 01 Feb 2020 02:30 PM PST A female Chinese military officer was charged with spying while posing as a student at Boston University, but was able to flee the country after FBI agents interviewed her about her links to the People's Liberation Army (PLA). PLA Lt. Ye Yanqing was indicted in a separate criminal case involving Dr. Charles Lieber, chairman of Harvard's chemistry department, who was arrested on Tuesday and charged with lying about receiving tens of thousands of dollars from the Wuhan University of Technology and lying to the Pentagon about the foreign money. The involvement of Lt. Ye and two other senior PLA officers highlights the Chinese military's involvement in Beijing's large-scale program of recruiting foreign specialists. Investigators say Lt. Ye was under control of "senior leaders of the PLA while conducting research at Boston University pursuant to a J-1 non-immigrant visa." More here |
DNC slapped with defamation lawsuit by Carter Page Posted: 01 Feb 2020 02:00 PM PST Former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page filed a defamation lawsuit this week against the Democrat National Committee and the law firm Perkins Coie over the use of an unsubstantiated dossier that was used to obtain surveillance warrants against him. "The defendants are private actors who used false information, misrepresentations and other misconduct to direct the power of international intelligence apparatus and the media industry against a private individual," Mr. Page's attorneys wrote in the lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. A DNC spokeswoman called Mr. Page's claims "baseless" and similar to a previous lawsuit that was dismissed last year. "Defendants developed a dossier replete with falsehoods about numerous individuals associated with the Trump campaign — especially Dr. Page," his attorney wrote in the filing Thursday. "Defendants then sought to tarnish the Trump campaign and its affiliates (including Dr. Page) by publicizing false information." More |

Racial Justice Groups Call on Klobuchar to Suspend Campaign Posted: 01 Feb 2020 01:00 PM PST Multiple racial justice groups have called on White House hopeful Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) to suspend her presidential campaign after a story from the Associated Press highlighted her role in a case during her time as Hennepin County's district attorney. As district attorney for the county, Klobuchar led the case against Myon Burrell, who was sentenced to life in prison for the 2002 murder of 11-year-old Tyesha Edwards. At the time of his sentencing, Burrell was a teenager. He is now 33-years-old and the AP story revealed that Klobuchar prosecuted Burrell without substantial evidence and dismissed a confession from the co-defendant who claimed Burrell was not at the scene. According to reports, Klobuchar also denied Burrell's request to attend his mother's funeral after he filed an appeal and claimed he was a threat to society. Edwards's father has previously stated that he also believes Burrell was wrongfully convicted for the murder of his daughter. More |
Trump Sets up Task Force to Investigate Missing and Murdered Native Americans Posted: 01 Feb 2020 12:30 PM PST President Donald Trump has tasked three members of his Cabinet to work together to investigate the high number of American Indians and Alaska Natives who have been murdered or gone missing. The Department of the Interior, Department of Justice, and Department of Health and Human Services met as a task force for the first time on Wednesday, co-chaired by Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt and Attorney General William Barr. The task force "is composed of federal officials charged with enhancing the criminal justice response, consulting with tribal governments on potential solutions and empowering native communities with information," a press release announcing the new campaign said. "President Trump is committed to addressing systemic challenges in Indian Country, and this task force will develop and implement an aggressive, government-wide strategy to combat the crisis of missing and murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives," Bernhardt said. "By working together and listening to impacted citizens and tribal communities, we intend to tackle these complex issues." "The disappearance and death of American Indian and Alaska Native people, particularly women and girls, is an especially tragic chapter in a long story of marginalization and trauma suffered by native people," Barr said. "We are committed to addressing this challenge, to reducing the violence and protecting the vulnerable from exploitation and abuse." More |
Posted: 01 Feb 2020 12:00 PM PST Well this doesn't fit the mainstream media narrative... In a poll reported by Gallup's 'Mood of the Nation' this week, it turns out that Americans' satisfaction with race relations has jumped 14% since Trump's inauguration. As The Daily Caller's David Krayden notes, the numbers on race relations seemingly fly in the face of rhetoric from progressives who not only routinely label the president as a racist and is actively or passively promoting a white supremacist agenda. Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker has called the president "worse than a racist" while CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin labelled Trump a racist for calling Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters a "low IQ individual." When Trump criticized the infrastructure in Baltimore and said the city was "rodent-infested" House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the comments "racist." More |
Miami University Coronavirus Update Posted: 01 Feb 2020 11:30 AM PST Miami's Institutional Response Team (IRT) and public health officials, including the Butler County Health District and the Ohio Department of Health, continue to await the results of two samples sent earlier this week to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). No additional suspected cases have emerged from Miami University, Butler County, or the State of Ohio. We know many people are anxiously awaiting the results of the tests. The Ohio Department of Health sent the test samples to the CDC on Tuesday, January 28. The samples were received by the CDC the next morning and placed in the queue for testing. We know it takes 48 hours for the lab to grow the cultures necessary for testing, and that we are among a number of pending requests, as testing can presently only be performed by the CDC's public health lab. While we had hoped to receive the results by today, the Butler County Health Commissioner indicated to us that given the late hour this is now unlikely. When the tests are complete, the CDC will deliver the results first to the Ohio Department of Health and the Butler County Health District, who will contact the students who have been isolated since Monday. Following the students' notification, Miami University, the Butler County Health District, and the Ohio Department of Health will promptly hold a joint news conference to share the results. More |

Stephanopoulos had brought up comments Trump made Thursday night during his campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa, which was meant to suck attention away from the Democratic presidential candidates, including Biden, who will participate in Monday's Iowa caucuses. Pets Can Carry Wuhan Coronavirus Too, Says Expert Posted: 01 Feb 2020 10:30 AM PST A Chinese epidemiologist warned this week that the novel Wuhan coronavirus is not limited to communication between humans. Dr. Li Lanjuan of the Chinese National Health Commission made clear that mammals are generally at risk of passing the virus. "If pets go out and have contact with an infected person, they have the chance to get infected. By then, pets need to be isolated. In addition to people, we should be careful with other mammals especially pets," she told China Central Television (CCTV) Wednesday. Chinese news outlets and the World Health Organization report that pet-to-person transmission remains theoretical as of now. The WHO declared an international emergency on Thursday. More |

Mitt Romney is "formally not invited" to the conservative group's annual conference this year. Matt Schlapp, the head of the American Conservative Union, said Romney is not allowed at the event after the Utah Republican voted in favor of summoning witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump. Romney was one of two Republicans who joined 47 Democrats in supporting the motion, which failed to pass on Friday. Posted: 01 Feb 2020 09:30 AM PST The Democratic National Committee has dropped grassroots fundraising qualifications for the party's February 19 debate before the Nevada caucuses, opening the possibility that billionaire Michael Bloomberg could make his first appearance on stage. The party announced Friday three different ways for candidates to reach the debate stage that involve reaching certain polling thresholds or banking a convention delegate in the first two nominating contests held in Iowa and New Hampshire. All previous debates have included a fundraising element, and since September, candidates have had to reach both polling thresholds and grassroots fundraising marks. Bloomberg, a former New York City mayor, has not yet hit the polling marks, but he will have until Feb. 18, the day before the debate, to do so - a prospect that pleases some rivals and incenses others. Tulsi Gabbard's $50million lawsuit moves forward after Hilary Clinton's lawyer accepts documents Posted: 01 Feb 2020 08:30 AM PST A $50 million defamation lawsuit filed against Hillary Clinton is progressing onto the next stage as the former Secretary of State's legal team accepts legal paperwork. After three attempts to rebuff the documents, a lawyer for Ms Clinton has reportedly been served the papers that will allow 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard's case to proceed. The Hawaii congresswoman's lawyer, Brian Dunne, told Fox News it was looking forward to finally moving forward on 'the merits of the case' after previous failed attempts to serve Ms Clinton with the papers. The Democratic presidential hopeful is suing Clinton for $50million over an interview last year in which the 2016 nominee suggested that Gabbard was the 'favorite of the Russians'. More |
Bloomberg buys up Google search ads to shift Super Bowl attention away from Trump Posted: 01 Feb 2020 08:00 AM PST Democratic 2020 candidate Michael Bloomberg and President Trump are engaged in a Super Bowl ad spending battle that includes the Bloomberg campaign buying up Google search ads for the Super Bowl. Bloomberg is aiming to direct online traffic to his campaign while also attempting to steer eyes away from Trump's reelection bid. If a Google user searches the phrase "donald trump super bowl ad," the person is greeted with a paid ad from the Bloomberg team that reads, "Trump's Broken Promises. Enough Is Enough." Bloomberg's campaign is also purchasing terms relevant to his and Trump's in-game spots "as a way to make sure the powerful story in our ad is seen by as many people as possible," the Bloomberg national campaign's spokeswoman said. DNC members discuss rules change to stop Sanders at convention Posted: 01 Feb 2020 07:30 AM PST A small group of Democrat National Committee members has privately begun gauging support for a plan to potentially weaken Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign and head off a brokered convention. In conversations on the sidelines of a DNC executive committee meeting and in telephone calls and texts in recent days, about a half-dozen members have discussed the possibility of a policy reversal to ensure that so-called super-delegates can vote on the first ballot at the party's national convention. Such a move would increase the influence of DNC members, members of Congress and other top party officials, who now must wait until the second ballot to have their say if the convention is contested. A Viewer Writes: Disparate Justice in Wicomico Posted: 01 Feb 2020 07:11 AM PST Good morning Joe, I've had this on my mind for some time now. How can we take a Bennett guidance counselor and give him 20 yrs in prison for consensual having sex with his 17 yr old babysitter, but not a word is being brought up about Jake's wife and all of the impropriety surrounding her. I am not a sjw but have an incredible problem with the massive amount of disproportionate justice and selective justice that's been dispensed in our area. I recall the nooses and pitchforks brought out during the charging phase for Allen Mitchell. Inversely everyone was trying to talk about how poor, misunderstood Liz was "a good person" & "her job's very stressful". If our leaders and civil servants don't dispense blind justice with the same tenacity & measurement for crimes against our youth then perhaps it's time for an actual change. We've seen what 'a new day' will get you, but how about a clean slate instead? Would love to see somebody shake the tree long enough. Who knows what would drop down.... |

Kamala Harris of California for giggling with Sen. Sherrod Brown from Ohio during a press conference on President Trump's impeachment. On Friday, Democratic senators held a press conference to address the recent update that Republicans had the votes needed to block additional witnesses from testifying in the Senate impeachment trial. After Harris, 55, delivered her own remarks, she and Brown, 67, began to joke with each other about their Senate lapel pins. Schumer, 69, whipped around and gave the two giggling senators the side-eye and warned them to stop. Harris and Brown held back their laughter as Schumer continued. More/Video |
Nolte: Let’s All Thank President John Roberts for Outing the Fake ‘Whistleblower’ Posted: 01 Feb 2020 06:30 AM PST We all owe Chief Justice John Roberts a big thank you for confirming the name of the phony, Deep State whistleblower who launched this stupid impeachment hoax. Eric Ciaramella, a CIA analyst and raging partisan who falsely accused President Trump of impeachable crimes, who has a history of working with former Vice President Joe Biden, and who might have had his own agenda in wanting Biden's corruption in Ukraine covered up… Yep, that's him. After much speculation that Ciaramella is the guy, Roberts confirmed it Thursday through his unconstitutional act of commission. Justice Cuck refused to read an impeachment question submitted by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). The question was for House manager Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), whose staff worked with Eric Ciaramella to cobble together this hoax by way of a fake whistleblower complaint. It was a simple and relevant question: --Manager Schiff and Counsel for the President, are you aware that House Intelligence Committee staffer Shawn Misko had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella when at the National Security Council together, and are you aware and how do you respond to reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the President before there were formal House impeachment proceedings?" Roberts, who has no authority to do so, refused to read the question. Why? Because, without any authority, he said he would not read questions that reveal the name of the whistleblower. And so, by refusing to read this question, this specific name, Roberts confirmed the whistleblower is, indeed, one Eric Ciaramella. More |
Washington Post reporter pushes back on misleading reports of border wall being knocked over by wind Posted: 01 Feb 2020 06:00 AM PST Twitter users castigated President Trump after reports that part of the southern border wall was knocked over due to high winds. "I get the urge to dunk on the border wall, but this is misleading. The panels that fell over in the wind were not anchored yet. You can clearly see that in the photo. And adjacent sections did NOT fall, likely because the concrete base had time to harden," Washington Post reporter Nick Miroff said on Twitter Thursday. "Trump's signature border wall fell over in Mexico from high winds a day after he boasted about the strength of his barrier," HuffPost's Twitter account said. More |
CNN condemns Trump's coronavirus task force for its 'lack of diversity' Posted: 01 Feb 2020 05:00 AM PST CNN is being widely-mocked for a report knocking the Trump administration for its "lack of diversity" in the task force combatting the coronavirus -- with a former CNN pundit even pointing out the network's own lack of diversity. In an "analysis" piece, CNN national political writer Brandon Tensley sounded the alarm after President Trump tweeted out photos from a briefing he had on the deadly virus that is spreading across the world, saying "we have the best experts" who are monitoring the situation. "Who are these experts? They're largely the same sort of white men (and a couple [of] women on the sidelines) who've dominated the Trump administration from the very beginning," Tensley complained. Posted: 01 Feb 2020 06:10 AM PST How is it that a communist, for all practical purposes, is winning in the Iowa caucuses at present? If there is anything that history shows repeatedly, it is that socialism, including its more violent form, communism, is an utter failure by every criterion imaginable. And yet, as of this writing, Bernie Sanders, Democrat presidential candidate, and an out-of-the-closet socialist is leading in Iowa. As The New York Times (1/26/20) notes: "Senator Bernie Sanders has opened up a lead in Iowa just over a week before the Democratic caucuses, consolidating support from liberals and benefiting from divisions among more moderate presidential candidates who are clustered behind him, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll of likely caucusgoers." Bernie Sanders is what you could call a limousine liberal or a sofa socialist. One writer uses the phrase, "champagne socialist." That writer is Dr. Paul Kengor, a professor of history and political science at Grove City College, and a best-selling author. Many of his books focus on communism. After the Soviet Union imploded in the early 1990s, they eventually released their formerly-classified documents. Kengor took the time to study those documents and has produced books from those studies. One of those books, Dupes, shows how liberals in the West, including America, fell for the Communists' lies.
