January Enforcement Actions Down for Eighth Straight Month

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 07:30 PM PST

Declines show effective Trump Administration initiatives to control border crossings while CBP helps seize longest cross-border drug tunnel in history

WASHINGTON — CBP enforcement actions on the Southwest border in January 2020 included the discovery of the longest cross-border tunnel in history, said Acting Commissioner Mark Morgan today in announcing overall January enforcement numbers. CBP enforcement on the Southwest border decreased by 10% in January as compared to December, representing a 74.5% decrease since the peak of the humanitarian and border security crisis in May 2019.

On the Southwest border, CBP conducted 36,679 total enforcement actions in January 2020, including 29,200 apprehensions and 7,479 inadmissibility decisions. This includes a 4% decline in inadmissible aliens at ports of entry and an 11% decline in U.S. Border Patrol apprehensions from December. The overall number of nationwide enforcement actions was also 37% lower than in January 2019.

CBP also announced the seizure of nearly 54,000 pounds of drugs nationwide in January 2020 – over 50,000 pounds were seized on the Southwest border.

"We continue to see positive results because of the steps taken by the Trump Administration to control the border and uphold the rule of law," said CBP Acting Commissioner Mark Morgan. "We've seen eight straight months of decline, but as we see from the seizure of the longest-ever tunnel between the U.S. and Mexico and significant drug seizures, much work remains. We hope that Congress will finally act to address the ongoing crisis on the Southwest border and pass meaningful legislation to strengthen our immigration system."

CBP is also increasing efforts with partner countries to stem the tide of illegal immigration. Acting Commissioner Morgan spent last week in the Northern Triangle nations of Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador to reiterate the agency's commitment to our partner nations and to continue to discourage families and individuals from making the dangerous journey north to the United States. Acting Commissioner Morgan's January trip involved meetings with a wide array of leaders and law enforcement officials on issues such as border security, human trafficking, asylum agreements, customs systems, enhanced trade opportunities, and reducing illegal migration. As partners, the U.S. and Northern Triangle governments continue to collaborate in preventing migrants from placing their lives in the hands of human smugglers.

FEBRUARY IS TEEN DATING VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 07:00 PM PST

(February 11, 2020, Salisbury, MD) February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. During the month of February, the Wicomico County Health Department wants to promote public awareness about what parents can do to prevent teen dating violence and abuse. Approximately 1 in 10 teens report being physically abused by a boyfriend or girlfriend in the last year. Having open lines of communication with their children is one of the most important things parents can do to help keep their loved ones safe and healthy.

Take Steps to Make a Difference:
  • Be a role model: treat your children and others with respect.
  • Start talking to your children about healthy relationships early, before they start dating.
  • Get involved with efforts to prevent dating violence at your teen's school.
  • Call the National Dating Abuse Helpline at 1-866-331-9474 or text "loveis" to 77054, if you are worried about your teen.
The Wicomico County Health Department has a program called Parents Matter!, an evidence-based prevention program for parents of pre-teens. This program is designed to enhance protective parenting practices and promote parent-child discussions about sexuality, sexual risk reduction, and healthy relationships. In addition, this program is designed to help parents overcome common parent-child communication barriers and promote positive parenting skills.

For more information on teen dating violence and the Parents Matter! program, call 410-334-3480 ext. 17489. You can also visit the Wicomico County Health Department's website at www.wicomicohealth.org or connect with us on Facebook, Instagram (WicomicoHealth) or Twitter (@WicomicoHealth).

My New Life After Transgender Despair

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 06:30 PM PST

Last December, I received an early Christmas present that I would have rejected just one year earlier: an "M" for "male" on my driver's license.

The switch back to male marked the end of a long journey of gender confusion and self-deception. Along the way I became a transgender activist and then America's first legally non-binary person.

By Christmas Eve 2019, I was done with the lies. By God's grace, a Portland judge granted my petition to legally restore my sex to male.

This has been a five-year ordeal. I first rose to become a transgender activist in 2015, telling The New York Times: "I now live in a world where radical, conservative politicians and religious groups routinely attack my very existence with legislation to deny me basic human rights such as a bathroom that matches my gender-identity."

New to identifying as a woman at that stage of my life, but indoctrinated by the peddlers of transgender ideology to believe I was one, I incorrectly believed that gaining access to female bathrooms was a human rights issue for me.

I was wrong. In hindsight, it was all part of a selfish quest to nourish my long-held sexual fantasy of being a woman—a mental disorder called autogynephilia.

NOTICE OF INVESTIGATION

Eating after 6pm could be bad news for your heart because the digestive system is less efficient at night leading to a greater risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 05:30 PM PST

For decades, we've been told that a calorie is a calorie and as long as we eat fewer of them than we burn, we're sure to lose weight.

Increasingly, though, it seems that when it comes to staying healthy, it's not only what you eat that matters, but when you eat.

This may be all down to our circadian rhythms. These 24-hour cycles govern everything from when we feel sleepy to when our immune cells are most active, enabling our bodies to prepare for regular events — including the arrival of food.

VIRGINIA DEMOCRATS VOTE TO ADVANCE SEMI-AUTOMATIC GUN BAN, EJECT CITIZENS FROM ROOM

Video footage uploaded to social media from inside the Virginia State Capitol shows a group of State Troopers ejecting citizens from the meeting room of the House Public Safety Committee as lawmakers voted to advance the latest in a series of Bloomberg-sponsored gun control and confiscation bills.

"Up and out" a Trooper can be heard shouting as he removes the public from the open meeting room. "Everybody! Everybody in here sitting it doesn't matter you need to get out now!"

According to those in attendance, Virginia State Police gave spectators 30 seconds to vacate the room or face arrest.

Interestingly enough, just as Chairman Patrick Hope (D-47) signaled for spectators to be removed, the Public Safety Committee's usual live stream was cut.

School tells students to remove American flags from their trucks: It's 'offensive'

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 04:30 PM PST

Virginia – When students at Franklin County High School in Virginia were told they could not fly the American flag from their trucks because it might be offensive – they did what any red-blooded American teenager would do: they flew the flag anyway.

The staff at ToddStarnes.com broke the story about this school in the area east of Roanoke and Christiansburg, where the flags displayed behind trucks have become a target for school administrators.

Earlier this week, an administrator at the Virginia school reportedly told several students that they could no longer fly Old Glory on their trucks because it was potentially "offensive" and "disruptive."

Pope Thanks Knights of Columbus for Upholding ‘Sacredness’ of Human Life

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 03:30 PM PST

Pope Francis met with a delegation from the Knights of Columbus in the Vatican Monday, thanking them for their "faithful witness to the sacredness and dignity of human life."

The delegation, led by Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson, was on pilgrimage to Rome for the 100th anniversary of the Knights' charitable activity in Rome, which began after Pope Benedict XV invited the Knights to provide humanitarian aid in Rome following the First World War.

"The Knights responded generously, establishing sports centres for youth that quickly became places for education, catechesis and the distribution of food and other essentials so needed at that time," the pope said in his address, following the vision of their founder, Michael McGivney, "who was inspired by the principles of Christian charity and fraternity to assist those most in need."

"Today the Knights of Columbus continue their work of evangelical charity and fraternity in a variety of fields," Francis continued. "I think in particular of your faithful witness to the sacredness and dignity of human life, evident at both the local and national levels."

Student, 21, says she was insulted by Joe Biden when he called her a 'lying dog-faced pony soldier' after asking about his poor Iowa results and says it shows how badly his campaign is going

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 03:00 PM PST

A college student who Joe Biden called a 'lying, dog-faced pony soldier' after she asked about his poor performance in Iowa has shamed him for 'humiliating' her and said his inability to answer her question shows how extremely poorly he's performing.

Madison Moore, a 21-year-old economics student at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, said on Monday for people to wave off the former vice president's remark as a 'joke' is 'kind of insulting'. Biden later explained he was quoting John Wayne.

Biden asked Moore if she had ever voted in a caucus and she nodded her head yes while attending his campaign event in Hampton, New Hampshire on Sunday night, leading Biden to call her a 'lying, dog-faced pony soldier'.

Moore said: 'It was kind of humiliating to be called a liar on national TV by the former vice president. Instead of answering that question straightforward, his immediate response was to attempt to invalidate me by exposing my inexperience.

CPAC organizer 'afraid' for Romney's safety if he attends annual conservative event

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 01:30 PM PST

Trump loyalist Matt Schlapp claimed he would fear for Sen. Mitt Romney's safety if the senator attended this year's Conservative Political Action Conference .

Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, talked about how the Utah Republican was "formally not invited" to attend the CPAC event during a recent interview on Full Court Press. He predicted Romney would not receive a warm welcome because of the senator's vote to convict President Trump during the Senate impeachment trial.

"We won't credential him as a conservative. I suppose if he wants to come as a nonconservative and debate an issue with us, maybe in the future we would have him come," Schlapp said. "This year, I'd actually be afraid for his physical safety; people are so mad at him."

Maxine Waters: White Dem Candidates ‘Have Blemishes on Their Record About Their Relationships with Black People’

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 12:00 PM PST

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said Sunday on MSNBC that the 2020 presidential hopefuls who are white had "blemishes on their record about their relationships with black people."

When asked about 2020 hopeful Pete Buttigieg, Waters said, "You know, one's record will speak for itself. If there are facts about what he has done or what he has not done, then he's going to have to try and make people, you know, believe that he understands where he made mistakes and promises to do better and be able to articulate how he's going to do even better than he's done in the past."

She continued, "But let me just say this; most white candidates live in white communities. They go to white churches. Their children go basically to white schools, etc., etc. So, you know, they all have blemishes on their record about their relationships with black people. And so the way they change oftentimes is if we are able to organize and to protest and to force them to understand what they're not doing in terms of equality and justice and force them to have to recognize that and do the right thing."

More people tuned in to watch the Oscars than any of the 2020 Democratic primary debates. However, the annual award show still saw its smallest audience yet.

The 92nd Academy Awards, which featured special performances from Eminem, Billie Eilish, and Janelle Monae, had an average audience of 23.6 million total viewers on Sunday night, according to Nielsen's live and same-day fast national program ratings. The audience size broke the previous low of 26.5 million viewers in 2018.

The event came in as the most-watched entertainment television special since last year's Oscars despite losing 6 million viewers from 2019 to 2020. Comparatively, the most watched presidential debate was the first night of the first two-day debate, which registered 18.1 million viewers and was broadcast on NBC, MSNBC, and Telemundo.

Federal judge indefinitely postpones sentencing of Michael Flynn

A federal judge on Monday indefinitely postponed the sentencing date for President Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn on charges of lying to the FBI in the Russia investigation.

The move by Judge Emmet Sullivan comes a day after federal prosecutors filed a rare Sunday motion to delay a number of approaching deadlines that would ultimately make Flynn's Feb. 27 sentencing unlikely. The delay also comes weeks after Flynn withdrew his guilty plea.

In their filing, prosecutors argued that Flynn's former attorneys should testify after he claimed to have received ineffective assistance from them.

'The scale of the theft was staggering': Justice Department indicts Chinese military hackers who stole Equifax data

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 09:30 AM PST

Attorney General William Barr announced the indictment of four members of the Chinese military for their role in the massive 2017 Equifax hacking that breached sensitive personal data on an estimated 145 million people in the United States.

The nine-count indictment announced during a Justice Department press conference on Monday morning, charged Wu Zhiyong, Wang Qian, Xu Ke, and Liu Lei, of the People's Liberation Army's 54th Research Institute. They allegedly conspired to hack into Equifax's computer networks and stole massive amounts of information from the consumer credit reporting agency.

"This was a deliberate and sweeping intrusion into the private information of the American people," Barr said. "Today, we hold PLA hackers accountable for their criminal actions, and we remind the Chinese government that we have the capability to remove the internet's cloak of anonymity and find the hackers that nation repeatedly deploys against us."

VA State Police Refuse to Rule out Door-to-Door Enforcement of Suppressor Ban

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 09:15 AM PST

During a Monday morning phone conversation, the Virginia State Police public relations department did not rule out knocking doors to enforce a suppressor ban.

We specifically mentioned the suppressor ban which is currently moving through the state legislature and asked if, "Virginia State Police will go door-to-door to get those."

The public relations official did not respond with a direct answer "yes" or "no" on going door-to-door. Rather, she said, "[No laws] have gone into effect, no laws have been formalized or finalized."

She said they do not, "do the speculation because nothing's been passed into formal law," but made clear that their job is to "enforce and comply with the laws" once they are on the books.

The rewritten ERA would enshrine a right to abortion

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 08:30 AM PST

The co-founders of Feminists for Life of America, which was founded in 1972, did not realize that our organization does not comprise the original feminists for life.

Alice Paul, the suffrage organizer who had successfully led the movement to achieve the 19th Amendment, was an elderly woman when she explained to our co-founder, Pat Goltz, that the first wave feminists also opposed abortion. That prompted FFL researchers to track down the documentation of this fact, which we have widely shared with the pro-life and feminist movements.

One of the questions Paul asked was, "How can one protect and help women by killing them as babies?" She answered her own question: "Abortion is the ultimate in the exploitation of women."

A map showing just how the coronavirus could have been spread from the epicenter Wuhan has been compiled by researchers as the outbreak is revealed to have killed more 1,000 people the world over, according to data form the Chinese government released Monday evening.

A total of 103 people died in a single day in China's Hubei province on Monday - the highest toll recorded in any one 24-hour period since the outbreak began in December.

It comes the same day as World Health Organization (WHO) experts and scientists have finally arrived in China to help officials there contain and study the outbreak. That's now struck at least 42,729 people worldwide.

A map created by Southampton University researchers shows how 60,000 out of a total of five million people who have traveled out of Wuhan since the beginning of the outbreak and before the city was fully locked down have crisscrossed the globe.

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. — President Donald Trump traveled Monday to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to pay respects to two U.S. soldiers killed Saturday in Afghanistan when a soldier dressed in an Afghan army uniform opened fire with a machine gun.

He described such moments as "probably the toughest thing he does as president," along with visiting wounded soldiers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Wicomico County submitted their formal letter request to Maryland State Highway for a stoplight at Mt. Hermon/Walston Switch intersection back in August 2019. At that point, there were officials working with the Airport that knew full well Walston Switch Extended would be terminating through traffic at some point in the near future thus significantly improving the safety of the intersection (check out the Airport Master Plan draft showing a cul-de-sac dated April 2019 here: https://flysbyairport.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/16093-SBY-ALP-TAP-4-23-19-reduced.pdf ). Yet they proceeded ahead not sharing that info with MD. The stoplight was approved almost immediately by MD at the end of November - curiously without all the standard traffic volume studies. So that Wicomico County Lobbyist is apparently paying off after all. Oh wait, you didn't know there was such a thing? Neither did the County Council members for the first couple months of his tenure, here's a fun Council clip after finding out in October: https://youtu.be/5WvHcX3p9lM?t=2905

And how about that city/county pre-annexation agreement for the water project to the airport? Oh wait, what agreement? That's right. They haven't come to one. And the project starts 3/1 officially, but you can take a ride down Walston Switch & see they've already started prep and spent a ton of taxpayers money doing so.

Almost 40 million in the budget for this airport over the next 5 years, with cut after cut to the schools (spread your wings & fly high on your own Mardela!). For what? One week it's to bring the worldwide elite in their 757's that would otherwise swing by BWI to layover and refuel. Those guys are going to LOVE this town (hopefully they'll arrive with full security staff should they choose to venture out after dark). Or is it actually for hometown Piedmont (that doesn't book to capacity even when can 3/4 of the year anyway)? What is the REAL driving factor behind all the airport expansion? And is it really good for the people who live here?

MoveOn pledges to spend $20 million to oust Trump and GOP lawmakers

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 06:24 AM PST

The progressive advocacy group MoveOn recently said it will spend $20 million in the 2020 election cycle to defeat President Trump and put progressives in charge of the U.S. Senate.

MoveOn will use the funds for its voter contact and turnout efforts that include mobilizing 30,000 members across battleground states, for ads opposing Republican lawmakers, and for its "team of experts" assembled to thwart digital voter suppression online.

MoveOn previously announced an ad campaign targeting Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Cory Gardner of Colorado and Martha McSally of Arizona. MoveOn is growing its list of targets for the presidential and Senate races to include the states of Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The group said it also has plans to mobilize its supporters in "dozens" of House races.

I made an appointment Sunday, February 9 at 9 AM with Firestone in Salisbury Maryland for an oil change. I should have realized that something wasn't quite right when I went to sign my invoice and was told I needed a new starter and tires. I then advised them I just purchased tires with them this past August , then they look at my record and stated , oh yeah I see that. My tires were then confirmed to be OK and when I asked the manager, George why would they tell me I need new tires when I didn't he said they always recommend them. I was also told I needed a new starter. Attached is the quote for the new starter which is labeled as preventative maintenance and also the receipt from where I had a new starter installed in October 2017 from them.

In addition to getting my oil changed my battery was also changed as well since it came back as a bad battery and that also was just replaced August 2019. The entire time that we were there in the morning the gentleman taking care of me at the register was new. The manager George kept interrupting us the entire time while the gentleman was trying to take care of me and just constantly belittling him is the only way to say it——I even told the gentleman don't worry you'll get the hang of it your new it takes time. I felt really sorry for him and I told my husband I'm going to call and make a complaint on that —-that's not right—- you don't do that to someone in front of the customer. We left. Two hours later I go to start my car and again it's real weak when trying to start. I call Firestone and was immediately advised "so that means it is your starter." They told me they cannot get me back in and it would have to be Monday. ( ironically when we showed back up after corporate told me to go back they had two cars in the Bay) !!!!!! I asked them could they squeeze me in as I am a long time customer ever eight years that provides them a lot of business and I needed my car fixed. The manager did not even put me on hold and even consult about it just told me no and saying he was rude about it doesn't even come close to accurately describe his attitude. I made a phone call to corporate to make a complaint and in the interim we drove to AutoZone. While I am on the phone with corporate putting my complaint in the AutoZone employee has the tester to my car checking the parts in my car. The results are also attached in this post. The starter came back good the alternator came back good and the battery came back *******bad battery*******Two different employees looked at my car and tested these parts several times. They both said your starter is absolutely fine. The results show the starter was fine. After researching it's really not normal that the starter would have gone up after only being a little over two years old. This is a 2004 car and that was the first starter I ever had to put in it was 2 years ago.  So then the representative from corporate told me to go ahead and take my car back and it would be looked at. While on the way there my husband advised me don't let them know we've had it checked ,, I want them to check it themselves and let us know what they recommend —this way we will tell if they're being honest. And of course the technician came in and said it's definitely your starter you need a new one. That is when my husband then told them we had the parts checked and that the starter is fine and it is the battery that came back that it was a bad battery. He tried to show George the picture showing the test results and George told him he did not want to see it. He was becoming even more rude overtalking us at this point ,, I was told we cannot trust auto zone by the firestone employees. I asked the technician do you test these batteries before you install them and he told me there is no way to test them until they are installed!!!!!!!!!??????? My husband told him he would go get his voltmeter and show him how to test it. I demanded them to put a new battery in my car so they did and of course when they went to start it it would not start. This time however when it was trying to start there was a loud popping noise that had not been there before and we were at AutoZone for 30 minutes turning off and turning on Over and over and never once had that noise been there. The technician told my husband look it's smoking ——when my husband went to look at it , there was one clear spot that looked as if it had been tampered with , something did not look right. (See attached pic). This area , mind you , had been inspected prior to going back to Firestone)))))) at this point I told them I knew they did something to my car ——-my starter was fine before we showed back up and now all of a sudden my starter is smoking and making a noise that it wasn't before. ( it seemed that they were going to try to make their 500+ dollars after all——-for that had been the plan from the very beginning))))))). I said I will have a tow truck take my car from here —they were very catty with me , not speaking to us and just very quickly opening the bay door and pushing my car outside —not even in a parking spot ———pushed it out and left it sitting in the middle of the parking lot. Closed their doors and never said anything else to us. this was probably around 130 2 o'clock at this time. I called for the tow truck and we stayed outside waiting. I will attach a picture to show where they pushed my car to and just left it. After we were outside for two hours still waiting for a tow truck the technician not the manager but the technician came out and offered us to install the starter at no charge. Basically making it sound like let's just get this rid of and will do it to get you out of here. Of course I declined —- they already sabotaged my starter—— I'm not sending my car back in there for them to do who knows what to it. Again this is after we were standing outside for over two hours waiting for our tow. - With no communication from any firestone worker ! We finally get our tow —-get our car home and it's around 5 PM. But wait it gets much better now. I post my experience on Facebook. Crystal Justice and Christy Lynn start blowing up comments on my post being extremely rude. They accused me of being a scammer, making comments that I did not make and much more!!!! it was nothing but harassment. !!!!! So since I decided to voice my opinion and concerns of what happened to me I started to become harassed by ............................ wait for it ...............the technician that was working on my car ——-his family!!!!!! Crystal justice is the mother and christy Lynn either a friend or relation - both ladies are friends with him on their Facebook which was Russell Justice (Firestone tech) - that's how I figured that part out was by their Facebook profiles. The firestone technician that worked on my car. These ladies started making comments to me about things that only the Firestone employees would know. And believe me I captured all the screenshots before they both deleted everything they said to me, which I have also attached to this post. . So ,,,,,, I showed up at firestone at 9 AM and I got home at 5 PM with a tow truck dropping my car off to my home but I am the one being harassed!!!! Not to mention my whole entire Sunday was a bust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With statements such as I should have just taken my free battery and been happy or taken the offer for the free starter and swallowed my pride! Now I've been away from my home all day long and now I'm dealing with these type of comments that I have to respond to. Like I have dumb tattooed on my forehead to let them actually take my car back in after two hours of waiting for my tow! I am extremely happy that this happened to me and not someone that would have been gullible and listened to their lies and paid money for services that were not needed and would have been really financially hurt because of it. Not that I'm happy I'm just glad that someone else didn't actually fall for this and loose money because of their lies———What happened to me is no different than scammers calling people and scamming them out of money or stealing from people and fraud ! it is absolutely no different! Going through life being dishonest and having no morals may be how some people live and I don't know how they can lay down at night and sleep being that type of person but these practices are absolutely not acceptable. I understand that certain job positions have quotas - I myself work in a call center and have quotas. I have been at my current employer for over 16 years and never once have I lied to one of my customers and try to steal and cheat them out of money!!!!!. I have left my job plenty of days in the negative which I would do 1000 times over before I would ever cheat someone out of their money!!! that is completely unethical!! Anyone who is friends with me knows that I never post on Facebook - SO for me to be putting this out there is very severe on my part that I have gone to this extreme to make this public.

If I can help even one person from being scammed by this company it will be well worth taking the time to get this posted!!!
Please please please please share this over and over and over ! . - I would greatly appreciate it ☺️

If there is anyone else out there that believes you have been a victim of firestone in Salisbury md , please reach out to me.

Thank you for your time to read this information.

Have a blessed day

Bill giving local Va. governments right to relocate Confederate monuments passes in Va. Senate

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 02:31 PM PST

RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Senate has passed a bill that would give local governments control over war memorials, allowing for the relocation of Confederate monuments.

The bill introduced by Senator Mamie Locke (D-Hampton) passed Tuesday in a 21-19 vote along party lines.

The issue of Confederate monuments has been heavily debated over the past few years in several cities in Hampton Roads, including Norfolk, which has already passed a resolution to move its statue from downtown to a nearby cemetery.

Trump’s Proposed Budget Would Protect Social Security and Medicare

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 05:00 AM PST

President Donald Trump released a $4.8 trillion budget proposal on Monday that would protect Social Security and Medicare, raise spending for defense and border protection, and cut welfare and foreign aid spending.

The plan leaves Social Security and Medicare benefits untouched, keeping a campaign promise of the President's not to cut the popular entitlements. That will make it harder for the President's rivals to run the standard Democratic playbook–scaring Americans about the loss of promised benefits–against him in this year's Presidential election.

The budget includes additional spending for the military, veterans, border enforcement, and space exploration.

How Trump can lose in 2020 – here's why and how

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 04:00 AM PST

Amid voter fraud, ballot harvesting, and media giants railing against Donald Trump, only a sovereign act of God can bring about a re-election. Every trick in the book will be unleashed, from sandbagging to illegal voting. They will do whatever it takes to acquire victory – you can count on that.

The title above may be shocking and disheartening to many of us, but it's a reality check on what could happen. The 2020 election will be one of the most important elections in the history of America (as was Abraham Lincoln's – who was a Republican fighting slavery).

Most are not aware that in 2016 President Trump barely won in many swing states, with margins as low as 1.2% in Florida and a very narrow 0.23% in Michigan. I hope you realize how narrow this is. The 2016 election caught Democrats off guard – but they won't let that happen again. My concern is that the 2020 election will catch Republicans off guard this time. Complacency may lead to apathy when the economy is good and the president's approval rating is high. We can't become comfortable thinking that Trump will easily take it again.
