HOW TO HACK A VOTING MACHINE IN TWO MINUTES Posted: 10 Nov 2019 05:00 AM PST Voting machines are far from impenetrable. There's remote access loopholes, general corporate malfeasance, and democracy-shattering bad design, for starters. And then there are hacks like this. In a video posted to Twitter, Rachel Tobac, CEO of white hat hacker group SocialProof Security, showed just how easy it was to obtain admin access to one of the most popular electronic voting machines in the U.S. The hack takes about two minutes and requires no specialized equipment (save a ballpoint pen) to obtain administrative access. The machine used by Tobac is the Premier Election System's BallotStation 4.7, a close cousin to the Diebold AccuVote TS, one of the most popular and vulnerable electronic machines used to record vote tallies. Though Diebold changed its name to Premier back in 2007 for "strategic" reasons, it apparently decided to hold on to its extremely vulnerable equipment. More |

New racist vandalism at Fulton Hall results in student protest Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST The Fulton School of Liberal Arts at Salisbury University has been vandalized by racist and violent writings for the fourth time this semester. The writings specifically target African American students and women. The most recent one escalated to violence and mentioned the Sandy Hook Massacre. The writings were all found in stairwells that have no cameras. This is the fourth time Fulton Hall has been vandalized, and the Salisbury University Police Department has not found the person or persons responsible. SU students gathered yesterday outside Fulton Hall to protest and demand action from the administration in response to this repeated vandalism. More |

Tomorrow Is Election Day 11-4-19 Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Tomorrow Salisbury residents have the chance, (once gain) to make the change in leadership that isn't a part of the Good Ol' Boy system by voting for Wayne King. My viewers will recall when I ran for Mayor of Salisbury and my opponent did absolutely nothing to campaign. He called a month before the election stating he knew I had the election won. Then they claimed it was a spoof phone call and some how, some way if you voted for me, he got the vote. Even the press flat out admitted there was no way he had won that election. It is what it is but this time they are caught with their pants down because Wayne doesn't have a Blog that has millions of hits and they think Jake can win this election without any funny business. That being said, YOU need to get out and vote. YOU need to know that I will be there for Wayne in any capacity he needs because I will have his back. Yes, Wayne is a bit brash but you have to understand that he's new to politics, unlike everyone else you've voted in who have political backgrounds and it can be very frustrating. The most important thing you need to know about Wayne is the fact that he is very passionate about what is best for ALL taxpayers and visitors of Salisbury. If you look at Jake's campaign financial statement you'll see financial backing from Peter Franchot and his right hand man Linwood Foxwell. The guy has raised some $50,000.00 in a town that only has 32,000 citizens. THAT'S CRAZY! To top it off he spent $26,000.00 of that $50,000.00 already. Look at those two names again and remember the letters that were sent out against County Executive Bob Culver for their underhanded liquor license for the Folk Festival. Culver was 100% spot on, these people abused their power and the Good Ol' Boys once again got something you and I could never get without going through the proper channels. So THINK hard about what tomorrow will bring. If you vote for Jake Day there's a very good chance he will leave Salisbury and run for Lt. Governor in the upcoming Governor election. Know that they are grooming Carl Anderton to run for Wicomico County Executive in that next election, just as they did Jack Heath. If you want to see Salisbury and Wicomico County all screwed up and your taxes go through the roof, sit at home and simply watch their plan come together. If you are sick and tired of all this political swamp crap, get off your rear ends tomorrow and place your vote for Wayne King. Remember, nothing is going to be rigged because Jake thinks he has this thing in the bag. Ireton knew I had it won, they had no choice and all of you were screwed. Make a difference and cast your vote for Wayne King. |

A Viewer Writes..........Even More Fraud? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST This is a 'sponsored' ad floating around Social Media praising Jake Day and the City for something he didn't do. This is a fraudulent ad making a dig at the County Executive. Who paid for it! Why was it needed? Did the State taxpayers pay for this ad or did Franchot's campaign pay for it? Did Jake Day's campaign pay for it! Is this another attack from Franchot's boy Len Foxwell? Who paid for it? |
What's Really Wrong With American Public Schools? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST There is no good way to measure the success of a public school unless you measure what dictates the success of any public school. For example, if I worked on the line for a car manufacturer and every fifth car that came off the line had a dent in it, I would be compelled to find out what's going on. I would not check the cars; I would check the system that is producing dents in the cars. In other words, I would stop the line and measure where and when the malfunction occurred. The malfunction in the public school does not begin with the "dent" on the students' report card or state-mandated tests. It begins with the "dent" in the students' home. If you listen to the experts bellow about the reasons high-school students drop out they say it's due to three things: poverty, low attendance, and negative peer influence. On surface, these three things are the perfect scapegoats for poor performance. However, those are only the "dents" that have occurred. Poverty has a name. Low attendance has a name. Negative peer influence even has a name. Poverty's name is laziness. Low attendance's name is indifference. Negative peer influence's name is anger. The umbrella that all three of these names fall under is called fatherlessness. While walking the halls of a local public high school, I spoke with an athlete dragging his feet to class. I exclaimed, "Move like you have somewhere to be!" He looked back grinning and said, "I'm quick! Check my stats on the football field." I said, "Ok, so what's your GPA?" He responded, "I don't know that." I told him, "Those are the stats I'm talking about! If you don't know those stats, what you do on the field don't mean nothin'! He turned and looked at me and I asked him the silver bullet question. "Where's your daddy?" He looked me in my eyes with resentment and said, "I ain't got no Pops." I told him, "I can tell by the way you conduct yourself. You are wandering the hallway aimlessly not realizing you must be two-dimensional (great on and off the field). If you are so quick, then you should have been in class five minutes ago ready to learn." More |
Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST In what appears to be a growing national trend, another elected law enforcement official released an illegal immigrant with a serious criminal conviction—in this case child sex offenses—rather than turn him over to federal authorities for removal. Sanctuary policies ban local law enforcement from honoring Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers placed on illegal aliens who have been arrested on local criminal charges. If the detainer is honored ICE takes custody and deports the criminal rather than release him or her back into the community. When law enforcement agencies fail to honor immigration detainers and free serious criminal offenders, it undermines the federal government's duty to protect public safety. This latest case comes out of Buncombe County, North Carolina where the recently elected sheriff, a Democrat, issued a policy earlier this year refusing to cooperate with ICE when it comes to inmates at his 608-bed jail who are in the country illegally. At the time the sheriff, Quentin Miller, proclaimed that enforcing immigration laws is not part of his agency's duties. Miller also said that "it is vital that members of our immigrant community can call the sheriff's office without fear when they are in need of assistance from law enforcement." Hiding behind that popular open borders rhetoric, the sheriff recently discharged a child sex offender to keep with his county's sanctuary policy of protecting illegal aliens, even those with atrocious criminal records. The illegal immigrant from El Salvador, Marvin Ramirez Torres, has been on ICE's radar since 2017 when he got arrested and charged with four felony counts of statutory sex offense with a child. At the time Torres was 23 and his victim was an 11-year-old girl, according to a local newspaper report that also states Torres must register a sex offender for 30 years. The illegal alien was convicted in North Carolina Superior Court for Buncombe County and was sentenced to less than two years in prison. Last week he was freed into the community because the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office refused to honor the federal detainer. More |
Running For Public Office Sucks... Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST No matter who you are, what your platform is, who or what the person your running against stands for, public life sucks. One thing the Eastern Shore lacks is one of the most important challenges and that is that people need to learn to agree to disagree. Today you will go out and vote. As most of you know I've been there, done that. I ran for Mayor of Salisbury and my main goal was to offer a different platform, a different vision. That didn't make me a bad person. No different from the people seen in the images above. We agree to disagree. Nevertheless, today you have really good people sticking their necks out publicly and passionately in the hope you'll support their vision. Wayne King is running against Jake Day. They're both really good people. They simply have different visions for Salisbury. If you like what you've seen these past couple decades, vote for Jake. If you want a different vision you'll vote for Wayne King. Two completely different but respectable styles and experience. I happen to support King because of his business background and the fact that he actually listens to what the taxpayers of Salisbury want. Nevertheless, the ONLY way you can all make a difference is if you get out and vote. You can't assume either party has this election in the bag because I can personally tell you that I've been following local politics for decades and I've seen absolute TIES and or close calls within 10 votes in Salisbury. Your vote really does count. I want to personally thank each and every candidate on the entire Shore for making the effort to run for office at every level. I know what it's like and it truly can be exhausting. You are all winners in my eyes. |
Jane Fonda Spends Night in Jail After Demonstration Arrest Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST The actress and political activist has said she plans to get arrested every Friday as she advocates for reducing the use of fossil fuels. Actress and activist Jane Fonda spent a night in a local jail after her fourth arrest in as many weeks while participating in a climate change demonstration on Capitol Hill in Washington. The 81-year-old Oscar winner was among more than 40 people arrested Friday while sitting in the atrium of the Hart Senate Office Building. A spokesman for Fire Drill Fridays, Ira Arlook, says Fonda was the only one who spent the night in jail, her first as part of the ongoing demonstration. More |
Former GOP chairman calls Trump supporters 'pathetic' and 'sycophants' Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Former GOP chairman Michael Steele characterized supporters of President Trump as "pathetic" and "sycophants" during a panel discussion on MSNBC over the weekend. Jonathan Capehart, the fill-in host of Saturday's AM Joy, first showed a clip of American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp in which CNN's Alisyn Camerota cut off his defense of the president amid impeachment and pushed back on his claims. He then asked Steele, now a political analyst for MSNBC and a Trump critic, if he is surprised that conservatives are sticking by the president. "Are you surprised, given all your years in the Republican Party and all the values and things that it stood for and stands for in your mind, that these people are siding, despite all the facts that we know that have been released by the president, that they're still sticking by him?" Jonathan Capehart asked. More |
Dillard U. President: Historically Black Colleges Succeed Because They Don’t Let ‘Racists’ In Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Dillard University President Walter Kimbrough argued that historically black colleges succeed because they don't enroll "racist" students. Kimbrough, the president of Dillard University, a historically black university in New Orleans, Louisiana, came under fire this week after he said that historically black colleges succeed because they exclude racists from their student body and faculty. "I think now many black high school students are experiencing more overt racism, so they are looking for places where race is not a day to day issue to be navigated," Kimbrough said in a comment to The College Fix. "At an HBCU, students can just be students and not worry about the politics of race." "I think many have worked to be more inclusive, but those schools still enroll students who don't have the same value of diversity and inclusion," Kimbrough added. "A university may do everything right but they will still enroll racist students, faculty and staff who will make the climate uncomfortable for black students." More |
Fox News personality claims she was harassed in public for fourth time over her job Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Fox News personality Kat Timpf claimed that she was harassed in public by another patron at an establishment on Monday. She said it was the fourth time that something like this happened to her, and said that her ties to the conservative-leaning network were the source of the confrontation. "The people who pretend to be so tolerant and accepting are honestly the biggest bullies I have ever encountered. This is not a talking point, this is my experience. Tonight marks the 4th incident I've had where I was unwelcome somewhere because of where I work," Timpf wrote. "I do not mean unwelcome by the establishment. They were very kind, which is why I will not be naming any further details because I do not want retaliation but rather to make a point." More |
Unwavering: Nothing sways Trump voters Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST A surprise demographic emerged in the 2016 election, and that was the 65 million people who marched to the polls and voted for President Trump, to the surprise of many flabbergasted analysts and pollsters. Like flyover country, this demographic had been overlooked and underestimated at the time. But more importantly, they have not gone way, and neither has their enthusiasm. "Trump supporters won't be swayed — by anything," declares a fact-based story by New York Post analyst Bob Fredericks. "Sixty-two percent of people who approve of the job President Trump is doing say that there would be nothing the commander in chief could do to shake their support, according to a Monmouth University poll out Tuesday," writes Mr. Fredericks. Another Kavanaugh accuser admits to fabricating rape story Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST One of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh's accusers admitted this week that she made up her lurid tale of a backseat car rape, saying it "was a tactic" to try to derail the judge's confirmation to the Supreme Court. Sen. Charles E. Grassley, chairman of the Judiciary Committee revealed the fraud in a letter to the FBI and Justice Department Friday, asking them to prosecute Judy Munro-Leighton for lying to and obstructing Congress. Mr. Grassley said Ms. Munro-Leighton is a left-wing activist who hijacked another "Jane Doe" anonymous report about a backseat rape and claimed it as her own story, calling it a "vicious assault." "I am Jane Doe from Oceanside CA — Kavanaugh raped me," Ms. Munro-Leighton wrote in an Oct. 3 email claiming to have been a victim of the judge. Mr. Grassley's investigators tried to reach her for a month but were unsuccessful until this week, when they spoke to her by phone and she confessed that she was not the original Jane Doe, and "did that as a way to grab attention." "I was angry, and I sent it out," she told investigators. More |
Conservatives Are Happier, More Generous Than Liberals Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Where are the happiest, most generous people in America to be found? The answer might surprise you! Lefty author and radio personality Garrison Keillor captured the popular view (at least according to Hollywood and the media) of the differences between liberals and conservatives, claiming, "Liberalism is the politics of kindness," standing for "tolerance, magnanimity, community spirit, [and] the defense of the weak against the powerful." Conservatives, Keillor claims on the other hand, are people who "stand for tax cuts, and further tax cuts, annual tax cuts," and then they "use their refund to buy a gun and an attack dog" to keep people away who are not like them. Or, as Obama put it, these are the people who are "bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them." More |
Hogan 'offended and disgusted' by county's ban on 'Thin Blue Line' flag Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan on Sunday blasted Montgomery County's decision to ban the display of a homemade wooden "Thin Blue Line" flag, saying he was "offended and disgusted." "I'm offended and disgusted that County Executive Marc Elrich has prohibited Montgomery County Police officers from displaying a 'thin blue line' American flag that was made for them by a father & his young son in honor of National First Responders Day," said Mr. Hogan in a statement. The governor weighed in after Mr. Elrich banned a police station from displaying the gift, also known as the Blue Lives Matter flag, calling it "divisive." "The flag provides a symbol of support to some but it is a symbol of dismissiveness to others," said Mr. Elrich in a Friday statement. "Because it is divisive, the flag will not be posted at the 5th District nor in any public space within the Police Department." His ban reversed a decision by the Montgomery County Department of Police, which tweeted Wednesday a photo of woodworker James Shelton and his young son presenting the flag to officers at the Fifth District Station in Germantown. While the Blue Lives Matter flags are seen as a show of support for law enforcement, several jurisdictions have removed them after coming under criticism from leftists who view them as symbols of white supremacy and racism. "Black Lives Matter members have referred to the flag as a terrorist symbol, a new version of the Confederate flag and repackaged Nazi propaganda," said Dawn Perlmutter, director of the Symbol Intelligence Group, in a July 15 article in Law Enforcement Today. AOC encourages New York City subway fare jumping Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:00 AM PST Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez encouraged toll jumping in the New York City metro system after anti-NYPD protesters swarmed a Brooklyn station and leaped over the turnstiles without paying subway fares. "Ending mass incarceration means challenging a system that jails the poor to free the rich. Arresting people who can't afford a $2.75 fare makes no one safer and destabilizes our community," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "New Yorkers know that, they're not having it, and they're standing up for each other." Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez✔@AOCMore |
