Liberal hack teachers plan week of Black Lives Matter lessons

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:00 PM PST

This whole Black Lives Matter bull crap is getting severely out of hand. It figures that the Teacher's Union in Philadelphia would now be urging teachers to instruct their students about Black Lives Matter in their classrooms… they are calling it part of current events. I call it part of racism, radicalism, cop-hatred and incitement to violence. Shame on them.

These so-called educators are encouraging students to wear Black Lives Matter clothing and gear. If I were a parent there and this was happening, my children would no longer be going to that school. I wouldn't want hate taught to my children this way. The BLM lesson plan is scheduled to occur Jan. 23rd through the 28th and cover 'diversity' and 'globalism'. Other topics include restorative justice, empathy and loving engagement. Parents, take note.

Lewis skipped Bush inaugural too, said he was not president

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 08:30 PM PST

It's a free country, and the nineteen (and counting) members of Congress who are planning to boycott President-elect Trump's inauguration are certainly within their rights. So even is Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., who said over the weekend that Trump's election (or his presidency) is "illegitimate."

That doesn't make his comment true or honorable or helpful to the nation's well-being, but he is free to say it.

Reps. Lewis, Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., Barbara Lee, D-Calif., Katherine Clark, D-Mass., and the other inaugural boycotters are certainly not alone in finding Trump uniquely awful. They are not alone in believing the president-elect has gone out of his way to offend people. Probably they also recognize that, in the safe districts they all represent, an inaugural boycott might even be a political winner.

But this is also part of a pattern. Lewis and Lee, along with some other Democratic lawmakers at the time, also boycotted to make a point when President George W. Bush was inaugurated in 2001. The Washington Post reported at the time that Lewis "thought it would be hypocritical to attend Bush's swearing-in because he doesn't believe Bush is the true elected president."

More Fake News About Trump

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 03:01 PM PST

Are you buying this BS? Let's see how many people show up on Friday. Once again, Trump will set attendance records, just as he did during his campaign and the Main Stream Media will continue to try to tell you jackasses like Lewis, O'Donnell and other worthless people hate him.

So, are you buying these latest polls?

National Art Museum goes full liberal with “F*CK WHITE PEOPLE” display

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 08:00 PM PST

Subtle… not. The National Art Museum in Cape Town has gotten straight to the crux of the matter. They've eschewed real art for brash racist sentiment. The exhibit is unamazingly entitled: "F*ck White People." And… it was a white guy who did it. Talk about self-loathing. Dean Hutton, the um, artist, seems to have identity issues here. He claims his exhibition will open white people's eyes to indoctrination. No… but it will open their eyes to your lack of talent, originality and moronitude.

Dr. Pieter Groenewald of the Freedom Front Plus had this to say after noting the unfortunate timing of such a piece of crap: "In times where racial relations are extremely sensitive, and where people who are guilty of making racist comments are severely punished by courts, the exhibition is short-sighted, and it is experienced by many people as inflammatory," he said. That is an understatement. Hope the museum is insured. Greenwald called for the exhibit to be removed.

Edward Snowden reacts to Chelsea Manning commutation

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 07:30 PM PST

Edward Snowden, who famously leaked classified information from inside the National Security Agency, on Tuesday celebrated President Obama's commutation of Chelsea Manning's prison sentence.

"In five more months, you will be free," Snowden tweeted. "Thank you for what you did for everyone, Chelsea. Stay strong a while longer!"

In January, Snowden tweeted: "Mr. President, if you grant only one act of clemency as you exit the White House, please: free Chelsea Manning. You alone can save her life."

Judge BRUTALLY destroys liberal communist Rosie O’Donnell [VIDEO]

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 07:00 PM PST

The Judge was on a roll last night. Seriously. She slapped Rosie O'Donnell up one side and down the other. It was simply rapturous. She's definitely right, Rosie is no brain trust and I doubt she even knows what martial law entails. Not that those pesky details will stop her from continuing to call for it to stop Donald Trump. She also wants him impeached, arrested and probably boiled in oil. None of which are going to happen. The woman is having a psychotic break. Hollywood can't deal with the fact that Trump won and Clinton lost. Too freaking bad.

I was heartened that Pirro called Hollywood elitists what they really are… communists. Nice and long overdue. Obama was Hollywood's Marxist president… Trump is the common man's president. These leftists are howling like banshees because they know that Trump is going to get busy undoing all the evil crap Obama has subjected America to. Think vampire and holy water. Guess who is which.

Cops detail why teen kidnapped as newborn questioned her identity

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 06:30 PM PST

WALTERBORO, S.C. -- A South Carolina teen kidnapped as a newborn first began to question her identity when she started looking for a job, and prospective employers told her her birth documents were fake, police say.

Kamiyah Mobley met her birth parents on Saturday at the police department in Walterboro, the South Carolina city where she was raised under a false name, multiple media outlets reported. Walterboro is 50 miles west of Charleston. Mobley was only eight hours old in 1998 when she was taken from a Jacksonville, Florida, hospital by a woman posing as a nurse.

"We're not sure of what details she knew or how much she knew or how much she was told," said Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said Monday, according to CBS affiliate WJAX. "But we believe that there was a conversation at some point with some explanation about why her birth documents were fraudulent."

Big baby democrat has nasty words for Trump, then begs people for money

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 06:00 PM PST

Talk about self-serving. Trump got into it this last week with civil rights icon, communist and all-around asshat John Lewis. Lewis called Trump an illegitimate president and says he cheated because of Russia and James Comey. It's bull crap and I don't blame Trump for responding the way he did. He nailed Lewis: "Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!" Exactly right… Lewis is a typical progressive Marxist who has kept the people in his district suppressed with liberal policies. He's had thirty years to help those that vote for him and the only person he has helped is himself.

So, what does a corruptocrat do when he's called on the carpet? Lewis quoted how horribly he was treated while marching with Martin Luther King Jr. And then he asked people for money. SMH. Instead of shredding one of their own for fund raising for himself instead of helping his constituents, leftists attached Trump online for attacking their hero John Lewis. In fact, a number of Democrats are vowing to not go to Trump's Inauguration over it. No big freaking loss if you ask me. What's a few less communists?

Obama Fills Federal Jobs With Friends & Cronies In Last Weeks

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 05:30 PM PST

During the final weeks of his presidency, President Obama worked briskly to fill almost 100 federal government positions prior to the January 20 inauguration.

According to Mark Knoller of CBS, since the start of 2017, 72 positions have been filled and another 17 have been submitted for Senate confirmation.

Then on Monday, Obama announced that he had appointed an additional 27 people to government positions and two additional appointments that require Senate confirmation.

Some of the appointments include several White House official positions that will remain to serve the next president, Donald Trump.

Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren goes after Trump and team of ‘bigots’

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 05:00 PM PST

I take Elizabeth Warren very lightly. And rest assured Donald Trump takes her even more lightly than I do. But, believe it or not Liberals take this fake Indian very seriously which is another reason why Hillary lost the election.

NY Post reports Donald Trump's election has propelled Sen. Elizabeth Warren into an even sharper partisan spotlight as she embraces her role as a top Democratic foil to the Republican president-elect.

In just the past few weeks, Warren has penned a scathing 16-page critique of Trump's nominee for education secretary, Betsy DeVos; grilled his pick for housing secretary, Ben Carson; co-sponsored legislation requiring the president and vice president to disclose and divest any potential financial conflicts of interest; and signed onto legislation to block the creation of a federal religious registry.

The Massachusetts Democrat is leaning on every lever of power she has — from her fundraising prowess to her social media accounts — to position herself as a leading voice of a party in political exile.

While DC cops’ bodycams will be off at Trump inaugural, ACLU is helping protesters monitor police

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 04:30 PM PST

Police in Washington, D.C., might have their hands full this week.

First of all, it's against the law for them to have their body cameras on while they're just monitoring the throng of protesters expected at the inauguration of Republican President-elect Donald Trump, WRC-TV reported — that is, unless something happens in the crowd that requires a police response.

On top of that, the American Civil Liberties Union is trying to help protesters keep tabs on police behavior. The agency is touting a new app — Mobile Justice — that lets citizens report on police in real time if they believe cops are violating others' constitutional rights, WRC reported.

They’re Better Than You

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 04:00 PM PST

Be honest. You know the people in Hollywood are better than you are. I'd be willing to bet Leonardo DiCaprio has slept with way more Victoria's Secret models than you have, and Natalie Portman has a much more impressive stock portfolio. You fly coach? Gross. You think George Clooney flies coach? Or even first class? Private, baby. And that makes actors better AND smarter than you are.

That's why people who hear the word "no" only when it's in a script or their agent is yelling it at a studio head until they add another zero to your check are qualified to tell you how to live. You don't like it? Tough. It's science…or something.

When was the last time Meryl Streep wasn't able to get a table at any restaurant, no matter how popular, on a whim? She doesn't wait. You wait, like a sucker. That clearly qualifies her to dictate how you should vote. In fact, she's so successful she should dictate how you live. After all, you aren't worth $75 million like she is, so she's clearly much better at living than you are.

Hugh Laurie is painfully better than you are. He won a Golden Globe for "House" and "The Night Manager." How many have you won? That's what I thought.

He played an arms dealer with a tall, smoking hot, blonde model girlfriend and kissed her so believably that a bunch of foreign entertainment "journalists" voted to give him a statue. So he's clearly better than you are. Do you honestly think you could kiss an attractive woman in a believable way? Neither does he, which is why this Brit should have a say over our governance.

And Brad Pitt? Even the wives who dumped him are better than you are, so clearly he is as well.

'Cops as pigs' painting permanently removed from Capitol

A controversial painting depicting police officers as pigs has been permanently removed from the Capitol complex.

The office of Rep. Dave Reichert, R-Wash., — a former sheriff who officially appealed to the Architect of the Capitol that the painting be removed — confirmed to the Washington Examiner that it was taken down for good on Tuesday.

The painting, done by a black Missouri teenager, was one of hundreds of winners of the Congressional Art Competition. Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-Mo., hung it in the tunnel leading from the Cannon building to the Capitol complex.

Obama Commutes Bulk of Chelsea Manning’s Sentence

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 02:30 PM PST

WASHINGTON — President Obama on Tuesday largely commuted the remaining prison sentence of Chelsea Manning, the army intelligence analyst convicted of an enormous 2010 leak that revealed American military and diplomatic activities across the world, disrupted the administration, and made WikiLeaks, the recipient of those disclosures, famous.

The decision by Mr. Obama rescued Ms. Manning, who twice tried to commit suicide last year, from an uncertain future as a transgender woman incarcerated at the male military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. She has been jailed for nearly seven years, and her 35-year sentence was by far the longest punishment ever imposed in the United States for a leak conviction.

Now, under the terms of Mr. Obama's commutation announced by the White House on Tuesday, Ms. Manning is set to be freed on May 17 of this year, rather than in 2045.

Lady Liberty is African-American in new commemorative coin

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 02:00 PM PST

Lady Liberty appears "in a new light, as an African-American woman," in a $100 gold coin unveiled Thursday, officials at the U.S. Mint have announced.

The 2017 American Liberty 225th Anniversary Gold Coin shows a woman's head in profile with a crown of stars. It features the year of the Philadelphia mint's founding, 1792, as well as 2017. The reverse side of the coin depicts an eagle in flight.

The coin is the first in a series. Future 24-karat gold coins will show Liberty in designs representing Asian-Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans, according to the mint. From the late 18th through the early 20th century, most U.S. coins featured depictions of Liberty as a woman of Europen ancestry.

"The coin demonstrates our roots in the past through such traditional elements as the inscriptions 'United States of America,' 'Liberty,' 'E Pluribus Unum' and 'In God We Trust,'" Principal Deputy Director Rhett Jeppson said.

Del. School District Using Food Truck To Feed Students On Days Off From School

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 01:30 PM PST

DOVER, Del. (AP) — A Delaware school district is using a food truck to help make sure students have enough to eat on days they aren't in class.

The News Journal reports the Capital School District's truck will hit the street for the first time on Monday. In a trial run that's intended to gauge interest, the truck will make stops at two housing developments, offering a soup and sandwich meal.

Students will be out of school Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. District officials hope the truck will help fill a gap left by the Food Bank of Delaware cutting its free lunch programs in the Dover area.

SoulCycle riders in California warned they are at risk of catching meningitis

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 01:00 PM PST

Members of a SoulCycle were told they could have been exposed to meningitis after a healthy father who frequently attended classes died from the bacterial infection.

Marriage and family therapist Sevin Philips, 48, of San Rafael, California, passed away unexpectedly on January 7 after he was infected with meningococcal meningitis.

The father-of-one visited the trendy spinning studio in Larkspur, California, a few days before his death.

Health officials are now investigating, and notified nearly 200 riders on Friday that they were at risk of contracting the infection as a result.

SoulCycle employees were also advised to do a 'deep clean' of their fitness suites in a bid to eradicate any risks.

But the company - which is popular with A-list celebrities - insisted he was not infected during a class.

Crisis Warnings Sound as EU Gears Up For New Migrant Wave

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 12:00 PM PST

VALLETTA, Malta (AP) — Tens of thousands of people seeking better lives are expected to trek across deserts and board unseaworthy boats in war-torn Libya this year in a desperate effort to reach European shores by way of Italy.

More than 181,000 people, most so-called "economic migrants" with little chance of being allowed to stay in Europe, attempted to cross the central Mediterranean last year from Libya, Africa's nearest stretch of coast to Italy. About 4,500 died or disappeared.

Hundreds already have taken to the sea this month, braving the winter weather. In the latest reminder of the journey's perils, more than 100 people were missing off Libya's coast over the weekend after a migrant boat sunk.

Some European leaders are warning of a fresh migration crisis when sea waters warm again and more people choose to put their lives in the hands of smugglers.

"Come next spring, the number of people crossing over the Mediterranean will reach record levels," Malta Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, whose country holds the European Union's presidency, predicted. "The choice is trying to do something now, or meeting urgently in April, May … and try to do a deal then."

WaPo savages Trump after he grants interview, called 'hellish'

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 11:30 AM PST

President-elect Trump granted the Washington Post an interview Saturday to talk up his goal of replacing Obamacare and cutting taxes.

His reward on Monday: One Post columnist predicted a "hellish" four years for the media under Trump, and another column suggested that Trump is to blame for the fallout of Rep. John Lewis calling him an illegitimate president.

Trump won front page coverage for his interview promise of "insurance for everybody," his pledge to push drug companies to cut prices, and plan to cut corporate and individual taxes.

But elsewhere he was mocked in the paper that has pledged to expand its Trump-watching team.

Seeds of Secession

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 11:00 AM PST

I have said here a number of times, Buddhism teaches that nothing ever happens at random. Nothing just occurs out of the blue, all by itself. A series of causes and conditions leads up to it. Everything is governed by this. Rain doesn't just fall. A series of causes and conditions leads up to it, many of which have nothing to do with water by appearance to the human eye. Everything is caused by other things happening. Nothing happens at random.

Now, the Democrats currently think that this presidential election is some random event that just happened without causes and conditions leading up to it. They also think some external factor—Russia—created something from nothing. That being, the random event of losing the election. Even if Russia was a factor, what causes and conditions led up to Russia getting involved? Would it not be the fact the Democrats have continually provoked them? But the Democrats have not proven this because the truth is much more obvious. In fact, the Democrats themselves were the primary cause that they lost the election and they put into motion the causes and conditions that led up to it.

What we need to understand is that we live in a country divided into two distinctly different cultures, if you will. I call these Middle America and Coastal America. We saw this manifest as the electoral colleges handing the win to Trump. But to understand this dynamic, we need to first define these two cultures. Coastal America is predominantly the West and East Coast and the massive populations they have, which represent the slight majority population of the United States. These are, though not all of them, liberals to one degree or another. Middle America represents land mass, that being, they occupy most of the states between the two coasts. They represent often conservative populations. The electoral win represents the win of Middle America over Coastal America in this election.

Merkel Spokeswoman Quits Over 'Open Door' Policy; Claims 'Political Will' Behind Illegal Migration

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 10:00 AM PST

A senior German lawmaker who speaks for the ruling Christian Democratic Union (CDU) on human rights and humanitarian aid hasresigned from the party, citing Angela Merkel's "open door" immigration policy and efforts to marginalise conservatives.

Erika Steinbach, a representative of Frankfurt am Main who has been a party member for over forty years, had to ask herself some searching questions: "Would I vote CDU at the moment? No. Would I join the CDU today? No. I can only draw the honest conclusion of quitting the CDU," she told Die Welt.

Germany has had to absorb some 1.2m migrants since the Chancellor declared there was "no limit" to the number of asylum seekers the country could receive. Frank-Jürgen Weise, head of the German Federal Office for Migration, hoped the new arrivals would bolster the German labour force, but only 34,000 have found work so far, while around 975,000 are receiving benefits.

80 per cent arrive with no documents, and thousands have been let in despite presenting papers known to be forged. Steinbach believes the authorities are actively aiding and abetting large-scale illegal immigration.

The 70 Nations That Will Meet In Paris On January 15th Are Going To Publicly Commit To Dividing The Land Of Israel

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:53 AM PST

A draft of the summary statement that will be released at the conclusion of the 70 nation conference in Paris on Sunday has been leaked. As you will see below, this communique is going to call for the division of the land of Israel, for the establishment of a Palestinian state, for the 1967 borders to serve as the basis for final negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and for the condemnation of any officials that refuse to support a two state solution. Of course this comes on the heels of UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which many believe represented America's greatest betrayal of Israel. Israeli government officials are publicly warning that there is a possibility that the principles agreed upon at this conference may form the basis for another Security Council resolution before January 20th, and this is something that we should all be watching for very closely.

Haaretz exclusively obtained a copy of a draft of the summary statement that will be released following the conference on Sunday, and you can read it for yourselfright here. Reportedly, there was a major meeting of diplomats last Friday, and the latest draft reflects feedback that was received from those diplomats during that meeting…

Last Friday, there was a meeting of senior diplomats from the dozens of Western and Arab countries that will attend the conference. The French delegate, Pierre Vimont, presented them with the first draft of the conference's summary communiqué and asked for comments.

According to Western diplomats, Vimont said France wants to reach a consensus among the participating states on a balanced statement that would stress the centrality of the two-state solution to the international community, but would take this month's transfer of presidential power in the United States into account.

In many ways, the document very closely tracks the language of UN Security Council Resolution 2334. Here are some of the things that really stood out to me in the draft…

Progressives Prepping for Anti-Trump Woman's March by Making 'Pussyhats'

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:45 AM PST

Progressive knitters and crocheters around the world are busy making "Pussyhats" to be worn by participants in the media-hyped Woman's March to take place in Washington, D.C. as part of the organized left's response to Donald Trump's election.

"Pussyhats" are pink, knitted, cat-ear headgear, and their manufacture and distribution are being undertaken by the Pussyhat Project, one of the "partners" listed on the website of the Woman's March scheduled for January 21, 2017.

As the Pussyhat Project's flier helpfully points out:

We love the clever wordplay of "pussyhat" and "pussycat," but yes, "pussy" is also a derogatory term for female genitalia. We choose this loaded word for our project because we want to reclaim the term as a means of empowerment.

The group goes on to point out their view that identifying people with female genitalia as females is considered a form of oppression, saying that "in this day and age, if we have pussies we are assigned the gender of 'woman.' Women, whether transgender or cisgender, are mistreated in society."

Martin O'Malley Compares Trump To Hitler, KKK

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:37 AM PST

Former Gov. Martin O'Malley asserted President-elect Donald Trump is an evil man on par with the Nazis and the KKK on Twitter Saturday night, and said he would "fight."

"Now is not the time for reconciliation," the failed Democratic presidential candidate tweeted. "Dietrich Bonhoeffer didn't reconcile with the Nazis. MLK didn't reconcile with the KKK. Now we fight"

O'Malley's tweet is part of what appears to be a Democrat campaign to delegitimize Trump's win, undermine his presidency and encourage anyone who will listen not to accept the results of the election. Democrat Rep. John Lewis said he does not see Trump as a "legitimate" president Friday, because the Russians rigged the election and rendered the result unfair and undemocratic. Others tried to invalidate the electoral college vote on the grounds of Russian interference and alleged voter fraud.

The initial reaction to O'Malley's tweet wasn't exactly positive.

Woman, Berlin Working Toward Settlement Over Police Confrontation

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:30 AM PST

BERLIN – Settlement discussions continue between the Town of Berlin and the local woman confronted by a police officer at Henry Park.

The attorney representing Ronshell Shockley, the woman threatened with arrest for sitting on top of a picnic table at Henry Park, says settlement discussions have been extended to the end of the month.

"I am optimistic that if each side is prepared to compromise we can make a deal," said Luke Rommel, Shockley's attorney. "It would certainly be beneficial to all involved to avoid a multi-year federal litigation process."

The potential lawsuit stems from a June 30 incident at Henry Park that occurred as Shockley and her husband were watching their son's basketball game. She was sitting on top of a picnic table when she was approached by Lt. Jeffrey Lawson of the Berlin Police Department. He told her she was sitting on the bench wrong and when her husband questioned the officer's behavior, they were told to leave or be arrested.

Will The CIA Assassinate Trump? Ron Paul Warns Of "More Powerful, Shadow Government"

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:15 AM PST

It isn't just that Donald Trump routinely thumbs his nose at the establishment, insults media figures he sees as unfair and bucks conventional wisdom.

It is that President-elect Trump is defying the will of the deep state, military industrial complex base of ultimate power in the United States. That is why he is treading dangerous waters, and risks the fate of JFK.

Trump publicly dissed the intelligence community assessments on Russian hacking; they retaliated with a made up dossier about thealleged Trump-Putin 'golden shower' episode.

While it may be a silly falsehood, it may also be serving as a final warning that they get to script reality, not him.

Perhaps they want Trump to feel blackmailed and controlled by alluding to fake dirt, while reminding him of the real dirt they hold on his activities (whatever it may be).

Insulting the credibility of the intelligence community in a public way – as the man elected to the highest office in the land – is liable to ruffle a few feathers, and it could provoke a serious response.

Trump knows the power of the people he is taunting, but he may not be aware of where the line is between play in political rhetoric and actually irritating and setting off those who control policy.

There is plenty of Trump misbehavior that can be simply written off, or trivialized, but cutting into the war and statecraft narrative of the shadow government steering this deep state is a deviation too far.

It is one thing to play captain, but another to imagine that you steer the ship. They are happy for Trump to take all the prestige and privileges of the office; but not for him to cut into the big business of foreign conflict, the undercurrent of all American affairs, the dealings in death, drugs, oil and weapons, and the control of people through a manipulation of these affairs.

If President Trump takes his rogue populism too far, he will suffer the wrath of the same people who took out Kennedy… there are some things that are not tolerated by those who are really in charge.

And now leaders in the Senate are warning President-elect Trump about the stupidity of going against the national-security establishment.

Report: Protesters to Disrupt Trump Inauguration; Plan Blockades, Property Damage

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 09:07 AM PST

Large groups of left-wing protesters will try to sabotage Donald Trump's inauguration by creating blockades and destroying public property, according to recent reports.

On the day of the inauguration, which will take place Friday, 20th January, protesters are planning to create a series of human blockades across Washington D.C., where participants will protest against a variety of Trump's proposed policies, from immigration reform to climate change.

The principal organiser of the protests is a group known as #DisruptJ20, who are already advertising for people to join them in a "bold mobilization against the inauguration of Donald Trump."

"We call on all people of good conscience to join in disrupting the ceremonies. If Trump is to be inaugurated at all, let it happen behind closed doors, showing the true face of the security state Trump will preside over. It must be made clear to the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his presidency or consent to his rule," the group states on the website.

Some of the #DisruptJ20's planned "events" for the inauguration day include an Anti-Capitalist and Anti-Fascist Bloc, Quockblockade Parade Queer Resistance, Climate Convergence, as well as an Occupy Inauguration.

The Media Will Pay the Price for its Fake News

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 08:45 AM PST

The Fake News crusade began with BuzzFeed, more than any other member of the media, and it deservedly ends there. It began withBuzzFeed faking news to kick off a crusade against Fake News.

The fake news that BuzzFeed faked was about the threat of Fake News. The numbers were wrong. But that didn't stop BuzzFeed from warning that what it called Fake News was beating real news. And that's probably true. BuzzFeed's discredited Trump dossier story outperformed the NBC story discrediting it.

The Fake News meme was already fading even before BuzzFeed dragged CNN down with it. The Washington Post's media columnist,Margaret Sullivan, had claimed that the term was "tainted" and needed to be retired; much like her paper. Sullivan warned that non-liberals were using it to attack the media. There was a complaint from the New York Times that conservatives had "appropriated" the term. Meanwhile Sullivan had cited claims about Fake News from BuzzFeed arguing that "something has to happen". On the panel with Sullivan was the CEO of The Onion: a real fake news organization.

After BuzzFeed's big fail, the exodus from the USS Fake News is happening faster than rats diving into the icy waters around the Titanic. Seth Meyers, one of those fake news talk show hosts, like Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert or John Oliver, whom lefties prefer to get their real news from, dubbed it "busted".

"Today, Trump called these new reports 'fake news,' so despite an incredibly short run, I think it is time to retire that term," Meyers whined. Trump and conservatives had rudely moved into a gated media community and, as with the arrival of the first black family on the block, it was time to move on.

There are complaints that conservatives are using "Fake News" incorrectly as if it's some sort of technical term that requires years of study to properly deploy at a graduate seminar. Sullivan claimed that, "Fake news is a very narrow thing."

Professor working on identifying fly spit at crime scenes

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 08:30 AM PST

MOUNT AIRY, Md. (AP) — The victim lay across the doorway of a filthy Mount Airy home, a 12-gauge shotgun blast through his chest. The suspect had called in a confession, and the evidence was clear. But that day in April 1999, police puzzled over dark stains on a wall far from the man's body.

"It didn't make sense," said forensic investigator Mitchell Dinterman. "These were all the way across the room."

He noticed an open window. The stains, he realized, came from flies.

Crime scene investigators have long relied on their own judgment to distinguish blood spatter from the look-alike stains left by flies that land on the body and then on a spot nearby. Now a biology professor at Loyola University Maryland is developing a spray that removes the guesswork.

David Rivers has worked on and off for five years to isolate an enzyme distinctive to the fly gut. He won a $154,521 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice in December to complete development of his spray over the next two years.

Hillary Clinton’s operatives stoke doubts of Trump presidency

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 08:15 AM PST

Hillary Clinton's campaign operatives have fueled efforts to delegitimize President-elect Donald Trump, pushing allegations of his complicity with Russian email hacks and boosting protests of the inauguration.

Brian Fallon, a former spokesman for the Clinton presidential campaign, has said there's "too much evidence" that Mr. Trump was in league with Russian spies trying to rig the election.

Former Clinton campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri used Twitter to circulate maps of protest sites for Mr. Trump's inauguration on Friday.

Neera Tanden, a policy adviser on Mrs. Clinton's campaign, has made her anti-Trump stance part of her Twitter identity — changing her avatar to the word "Resist."

The attempt to undermine the next president is in stark contrast to Mrs. Clinton's imploring Mr. Trump during the campaign to respect election results. Back then, when she was considered the odds-on favorite to win the White House, Mrs. Clinton said that disputing election results was "a direct threat to our democracy."

Bob Woodward calls Trump dossier ‘garbage’

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 08:00 AM PST

WASHINGTON — Legendary journalist Bob Woodward on Sunday clashed with his former "Watergate" reporting partner over the intelligence briefing of President-elect Donald Trump on the salacious allegations contained in an unverified dossier of opposition research.

"I've lived in this world for 45 years where you get things and people make allegations," Woodward told FOX News Sunday.

"That is a garbage document. It never should have been presented in–- as part of an intelligence briefing."

Woodward also said that "Trump's point of view" was being "under-reported," noting that outgoing White House Counsel Neil Eggleston could have given the briefing to incoming Counsel Don McGahn.

"So Trump's right to be upset about that," Woodward said. "And I think if you look at the real chronology and the nature of the battle here, those intelligence chiefs who were the best we've had, who were terrific and have done great work made a mistake here. And when people make mistakes, they should apologize."

Trump later tweeted his appreciation.

"Thank you to Bob Woodward," Trump wrote, along with a recap of Woodward's comments and the word "apologize" in all capital letters. "Media should also apologize,"Trump added.

Was Hillary Clinton’s Nomination 'Legitimate'? Six Reasons to Say No

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 07:45 AM PST

Democrats are consoling themselves by claiming Donald Trump's election is illegitimate, but they'll do themselves and the nation a favor if they consider their own faults — including the top-to-bottom corruption in their own party and political strategy.

1. The Democrats' rigged primary: Democrats should begin by accepting the obvious truth of a rigged primary revealed by WikiLeaks. The party's key leaders — not the party's voters — picked and promoted Hillary Clinton, meaning she was secretly coronated before the primary ever began. Her rival Bernie Sanders never had a chance. The "nomination" contest was theater designed to make Sanders voters accept Clinton. His voters ought to be furious at Sanders for playing along with this farce, which he most certainly did.

When Party elders shriek about nefarious Russian interference in the election process, they're trying to distract from what the leaked DNC emails actually said, and the fact that we now know those emails are 100 percent genuine, despite early Democrat statements to the contrary.

Md. Man Arrested For Pointing Laser At MSP Helicopter

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 30-year-old Sykesville man was arrested after authorities say he pointed a green laser at a Maryland State Police helicopter eight times early Monday morning.

Connor Grant Brown faces charges of reckless endangerment, obstructing and hindering, and shining a laser pointer at an aircraft.

Brown could also be facing charges from the FBI.

"These laser beams can really be catastrophic," said MSP spokeswoman Elena Russo.

The MSP Trooper 3 helicopter was up in the sky at 1 a.m. Monday. They were assisting the Carroll County Sheriff's Office with an investigation in the 800 block of Klees Mills Rd. in Westminster.

Fake news from the intelligence agencies

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 07:15 AM PST

A disinformation campaign to undermine the new president smells like payback

The news stories about the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election won't end this week, this month or this year. That narrative is just a new version of the "Bush was selected, not elected" meme from the 2000 election.

Sixteen years ago the left and the media — not that they're separable — tried to convince the American people that George W. Bush stole the election from Al Gore. Now, with the help of the American intelligence community (IC), they have substituted hacking Vlad for hanging chads.

Mr. Trump has made it easy for the media/liberal axis to keep this story afloat by strangely and repeatedly praising Russian President Vladimir Putin. Rex Tillerson's nomination to be secretary of State was used by several senators at his confirmation hearing last week to portray him and Mr. Trump as Mr. Putin's stooges.

The most troubling aspect of this is the Jan. 6 joint report by the CIA, FBI and NSA on the Russian interference in the election. President Obama ordered the report on Dec. 9. It was published less than a month later, two weeks before President-elect Trump takes office.

The report finds that Mr. Putin ordered a campaign to influence and discredit the 2016 election, saying that its goals were to undermine the democratic process and to disadvantage Mrs. Clinton and benefit Mr. Trump.

In the key passage, the report says that Mr. Putin wanted to discredit Mrs. Clinton because he blamed her for inciting mass demonstrations against him five years ago and because he holds a grudge against her for comments "he almost certainly saw as disparaging him."

Who believes Mr. Putin is thin-skinned?

Trump Ensnares Media in Yet Another Fake News Boondoggle

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 07:00 AM PST

The media was rife with 'I told you so' headlines yesterday, after reports from more unnamed sources said the first order of business for the Trump administration was to hold a summit with Vladimir Putin, in Iceland, just like Reagan did with Gorbachev, circa 1986.

The headlines were smug and the Twitterati of newly born left wing militarist war mongers were resplendent with calls for martial law or protests or anything that could stop Donald Trump, an obvious traitor against America -- a revolting person of low qualities who enjoys to be urinated upon by Russian hookers.

The only problem with that narrative, as touching as it may seem, is that it's completely false. According to Trump's press secretary, it's all fake news.

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 06:53 AM PST

The liberal, alt-left media is in meltdown mode because Donald Trump put them on notice that he's not going to take their BS anymore.

The president-elect called out members of the mainstream media who ran with a bogus story based on a phony dossier that purported to include compromising information on him. In fact, the whole story was just an excuse for these disgraceful organizations to print unconfirmed smears – and Trump saw it for what it was.

"It's all fake news," he said at a press conference this week. "It's phony stuff. It didn't happen.

"I think it's disgrace that information that was false and fake and never happened got released to the public," he added. "As far as BuzzFeed -- which is a failing pile of the garbage -- writing it, I think they're going to suffer the consequences. They already are."

In Stunning Pair Of Interviews, Trump Slams NATO And EU, Threatens BMW With Tax; Prepared To "Cut Ties" With Merkel

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 06:23 AM PST

In two separate, and quite striking, interviews with Germany's Bild (paywall) and London's Sunday Times (paywall), Donald Trump did what he failed to do in his first US press conference, and covered an extensive amount of policy and strategy, much of which however will likely please neither the pundits, nor the markets.

Among the numerous topics covered in the Bild interview, he called NATO obsolete, predicted that other European Union members would join the U.K. in leaving the bloc and threatened BMW with import duties over a planned plant in Mexico, according to a Sunday interview granted to Germany's Bild newspaper that will raise concerns in Berlin over trans-Atlantic relations. Furthermore, in his first "exclusive" interview in the UK granted to the Sunday Times, Trump said he will offer Britain a quick and "fair" trade deal with America within weeks of taking office to help make Brexit a "great thing". Trump revealed that he was inviting Theresa May to visit him "right after" he gets into the White House and wants a trade agreement between the two countries secured "very quickly".

Trump told the Times that other countries would follow Britain's lead in leaving the European Union, claiming it had been deeply damaged by the migration crisis. "I think it's very tough," he said. "People, countries want their own identity and the UK wanted its own identity."

Trump Responds To CIA Chief Brennan, Asks "Was He The Leaker Of Fake News?"

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 06:15 AM PST

Just hours after John Brennan lashed out at the president-elect in an interview with Fox News, Donald Trump has responded by suggesting that the outgoing CIA Director may have been behind the publication last week of unverified and salacious intelligence connecting the president-elect to Russia....
.@FoxNews "Outgoing CIA Chief, John Brennan, blasts Pres-Elect Trump on Russia threat. Does not fully understand." Oh really, couldn't do...
much worse - just look at Syria (red line), Crimea, Ukraine and the build-up of Russian nukes. Not good! Was this the leaker of Fake News?
This is the most direct accusation yet in the escalating feud with Obama's intelligence agencies. As we noted earlier, no president since John F. Kennedy has dared to take on the CIA or the rest of the national security establishment. They knew that if they opposed the national-security establishment at a fundamental level, they would be subjected to retaliatory measures. To the extent that President Kennedy consciously stood up to the system, he paid the price for his attempt at independent wielding of power from the Oval Office. It is a shuddering thought. A sharp lesson in history that must not be misinterpreted. The implications for Trump are quite clear. If his refusal to take intelligence briefings, or follow CIA advice is serious, then serious consequences will follow. If Trump is serious about peace with Putin when they insist on war, there will be a problem.

The CIA director will likely be replaced by Mr Trump's pick Mike Pompeo next week.

Senator Paul Drafting Health-Care Measure to Replace Obamacare

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 06:07 AM PST

Republican Senator Rand Paul said he's drafting legislation for a health-care insurance plan that could replace Obamacare, including a provision to "legalize" the sale of inexpensive insurance policies that provide abbreviated coverage.

"That means getting rid of the Obamacare mandates on what you can buy," Paul said in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday. Obamacare, which Republicans are moving to repeal, requires insurers to cover a number of procedures -- such as preventive care and pregnancy -- that Paul said drives up the cost.

The Kentucky Republican, an ophthalmologist who had his own practice in his home state, said he'll propose helping people pay for medical bills through tax credits and health savings accounts, which allow users to set aside money tax-free to pay for medical expenses. His bill would allow individuals and small businesses to form associations when buying insurance, giving them more leverage, he said.

"There's no reason why someone with four employees shouldn't be able to join with hundreds and hundreds of other businesses" to negotiate better prices, Paul said. Becoming part of larger pools would help small companies secure coverage "that guarantees the issue of the insurance even if you get sick."

Compared McCain to Wallace, said Romney would bring back segregation

WASHINGTON –
When U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., said he didn't see Donald Trump as a "legitimate president," it wasn't out of character.

After 37 years in Congress, that kind of rhetoric is in keeping with a highly partisan record of accusing all Republican presidential candidates of racism as well as calling for the impeachment of George W. Bush.

Almost glossed over in Lewis' questioning of Trump's legitimacy was his reasoning.

"I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president," Lewis told NBC News' Chuck Todd in a clip released Friday. "I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected. And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. I think there was a conspiracy on the part of the Russians, and others, that helped him get elected."

His reason Trump isn't a legitimate president-elect, according to Lewis, is because the Russians helped elect him. To date, not a single shred of evidence to suggest Russian hacking had any impact on the outcome of the election. Indeed, as Democrats are fond of pointing out, Clinton won the popular election. She merely failed to win the prerequisite number of electoral votes of the states.

The Clinton Foundation Is Shutting Down The Clinton Global Initiative

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 05:30 AM PST

In a "mass layoff" event reported late last week by the Department of Labor, the Clinton Foundation announced it would lay off some 22 employees at the Clinton Global Initiative, which attained notoriety during the John Podesta leaks, when the various details of the falloutbetween between CGI head Doug Band and Chelsea Clinton were revealed; it also emerged that long-time Bill Clinton friend Band wassoliciting donations for Clinton through his PR firm, Teneo in an sordid example of "pay for play" which most of the mainstream media refused to cover, especially after Band emailed Podesta "If this story gets out, we are screwed."

Filed as mandated by the Department of Labor's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN notice, on January 12, the Clinton Foundation's Veronika Shiroka advised the DOL that as part of a "Plant Layoff" it would layoff 22 workers on April 15, with reason for the dislocation stated as "Discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative." The layoffs are part of the Clinton plan put in motion ahead of the presidential election, to offset a storm of criticism regarding pay-to-play allegations during Clinton's tenure as secretary of state.

A Letter To The Editor: Re. 32 Annual Birthday Celebration and Commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 01:22 AM PST

At the MLK Dinner at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center last night, January 16, 2017, the person that did the opening prayer for the banquet started ragging on President Elect Donald Trump and made some threatening comments about him. He was also making comments daring trump to cut the budget on different welfare programs. It was ugly and uncomfortable for some people in the audience. I heard people saying they will never attend another NAACP function again, especially the MLK Banquet.

I think the person was a so call preacher by the name of Bishop Anthony Dickerson, New Greater Mt. Olive Full Gospel Baptist Church, Cambridge Maryland. That man is a racist person and he was inciting a riot. That "prayer" was very inappropriate for a publicly funded youth and civic center.

EXCLUSIVE: Bill Clinton Sex Assault Accusers to Anti-Trump Women’s Marchers: ‘Shame on all of you’

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 05:00 AM PST

Bill Clinton's famous sex assault accusers Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey are strongly criticizing the upcoming Women's March on Washington, a celebrity-endorsed event planned for the day after Donald Trump's inauguration.

The march has been described by the news media as a female protest against Trump, with reports that hundreds of thousands might attend.

The mission statement for the march claims that the gathering is meant to send a message "that women's rights are human rights" and pledges to fight against those who have demonized "survivors of sexual assault."

Speaking to Breitbart News, Broaddrick had strong words for the march organizers:

I am a survivor of sexual assault. I am one of the people you are supposedly marching for. I was raped by Bill Clinton. Did you hear me? I am one of many that Bill Clinton assaulted. Where were you ladies when I was hurting and scared? This past year, I once again told about my horrific encounter with Bill Clinton.

Where were you? You were silent because of your support for Hillary Clinton. Shame on you; all of you. I can finally move forward because your candidate, Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton, my abuser, no longer matter.

Willey stated, "Donald Trump has 'demonized' victims of sexual assault? How so? Exactly what do they call what Bill and Hillary did to us? They are the king and queen of demonization and defamation. Where were they when we needed them? I'll be sure to look for them at the inauguration. I'm looking forward to looking them in the eye."

Jones took particular offense at the involvement of Hollywood celebrities who are slated to participate in the march.

Tuberculosis: Refugees Produce 29 Percent of Active Cases in New Hampshire

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 04:30 AM PST

The refugees resettled by the federal government in New Hampshire produced 29 percent of all diagnosed active tuberculosis (TB) cases in the state during 2014 and 2015, says the Centers for Disease Control.

Three contagious TB cases, or "active tuberculosis," in New Hampshire were diagnosed in refugees in 2015, and four cases were diagnosed in refugees during 2014. During that two year period, a total of 24 cases of active TB were diagnosed in New Hampshire.

So seven of the 24 active cases, or 29 percent, were among refugees delivered by the federal government. The refugee population is less than one percent of the total state population.

New Hampshire does, however, have a much higher per capita rate of refugee TB compared to other states.

Between FY 2008 and FY 2015, 4,368 refugees were resettled in New Hampshire by the federal government. More than 80 percent of these refugees, or 3,497 out of 4,368, arrived from four high TB burden countries, according to the Department of State–Bhutan (2,239 refugees), the Democratic Republic of Congo (797 refugees), Burma (291 refugees), and Somalia (170 refugees).

Obama accused of wrecking Trump's transition

California Rep. Darrell Issa also hit Obama's post-campaign effort to blame Russia for the outcome of the election, which has sparked some Democrats to suggest that the results are illegitimate.

"President Obama is not going softly into the night. He very clearly wants to leave what some call scorched earth, or at least troubled waters," said Issa on this weekend's Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson.

The show, titled "Exit Strategy," focuses on Obama's last minute moves, including the wave of regulations being flushed through the a government.

The third Monday of January is a federal holiday established to honor the memory of King, the slain 1960s civil rights leader.

Biloxi's post ignited a fierce backlash from critics who accused the predominantly white town of denigrating King.

In the Shopping Cart of a Food Stamp Household: Lots of Soda

Posted: 17 Jan 2017 02:00 AM PST

What do households on food stamps buy at the grocery store?

The answer was largely a mystery until now. The United States Department of Agriculture, which oversees the $74 billion food stamp program called SNAP, has published a detailed report that provides a glimpse into the shopping cart of the typical household that receives food stamps.

The findings show that the No. 1 purchases by SNAP households are soft drinks, which accounted for 5 percent of the dollars they spent on food. The category of 'sweetened beverages,' which includes fruit juices, energy drinks and sweetened teas, accounted for almost 10 percent of the dollars they spent on food. "In this sense, SNAP is a multibillion-dollar taxpayer subsidy of the soda industry," said Marion Nestle, a professor of nutrition, food studies and public health at New York University. "It's pretty shocking."

For years, dozens of cities, states and medical groups have urged changes to SNAP, or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, to help improve nutrition among the 43 million poorest Americans who receive food stamps. Specifically, they have called for restrictions so that food stamps cannot be used to buy junk food or sugary soft drinks.

But the food and beverage industries have spent millions opposing such measures, and the U.S.D.A. has denied every request, saying that selectively banning certain foods would be unfair to food stamp users and create too much red tape.

Outgoing Attorney General for the Department of Justice, Loretta Lynch, has distributed an environmentally-friendly, 164-page report that finds (after a year-long investigation) that my hometown Chicago Police Department "engages in a pattern or practice of using force, including deadly force, in violation of the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution."

The longwinded defense glosses over critical statistics to allow any reader to truly understand what is at the nucleus of their most scorching claim against the Chicago Police. That in addition to economic hardships for minorities (and is that 100% essential?), police use excessive force 10 times more often against Blacks as they do against Whites. And that's a deceptive headline shocker, which combined with selective data-mining, simply states what they feel is obvious with their constituents across the country. The leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement joined other civil rights groups in responding lockstep with the findings, demanding "we are not going to take it any more". What does that mean? Are the big concerns in life that (Chicago) police are simply villains? Life would be coziest if they used kids' gloves? And why were these groups righteously hushed in recent months, as Blacks were multiple times caught on video group-assaulting Whites who "may have voted for Trump"? Look at the top of the chart -below- which shows this 10xrate for Blacks versus Whites, when it comes to use of excessive police force. Now we'll discuss some other self-computed statistics that should be considered, and which were not provided as meaningful background.

Andrew Napolitano: Why the criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton is back to front and center

Posted: 16 Jan 2017 10:00 PM PST

The criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton is back front and center now that the FBI has released proof that her failure to safeguard state secrets caused the secrets to fall into the hands of foreign governments, some of which wish the United States ill.

Even though the case against her -- which was closed and then reopened and then closed again -- is old news and she obviously is no longer a candidate to become president of the United States and has been staying below the radar for the past two months, recent developments have regenerated the case.

Here is the back story.

On July 5, FBI Director James Comey announced publicly that the FBI would recommend against seeking an indictment of Clinton for espionage -- the failure to safeguard state secrets that had been entrusted to her. He argued that though the case against her was strong -- as secretary of state, she had been extremely careless with secrets; exposed hundreds of materials that were confidential, secret and top-secret; and used non-secure mobile devices while in the territory of hostile governments -- no reasonable prosecutor would take the case.

Why was the decision of whether to prosecute Clinton left to Comey?
