FBI: Hackers Accessed Accounts E-Mailing Clinton's Server

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 10:30 PM PDT

Hostile foreign actors successfully gained access to several email accounts Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton regularly contacted on her unsecured email server while she served as secretary of state, according to investigation notes released by the FBI.

The released notes gave no further details regarding the nationality of the hostile hackers, but the FBI was able to confirm that hacking the accounts allowed them to gain access to emails sent to or from Clinton from other users' accounts.

"The FBI did find that hostile foreign actors successfully gained access to the personal email accounts of individuals with whom Clinton was in regular contact and, in doing so, obtained emails sent to or receive by Clinton on her personal account," stated the FBI notes.

Huma Abedin Told FBI She Was Not Aware of Hillary's Private Server (She Was)

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 09:30 PM PDT

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Huma Abedin told the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that she did not know that Hillary Clinton used a private email server until after she stopped working at the State Department.

But according to former Bill Clinton adviser Justin Cooper, whose recollections are cited in the bombshell FBI investigation notes dumped Friday, Abedin was actually the one who came up with the idea for Clinton to go to great lengths to set up a non-secure private server.

As noted by Paul Ryan adviser Michael Shapiro, Abedin hadher own clintonemail.comaccount, so how could she have possibly been in the dark about what was going on?

Another Holiday Weekend, Another Clinton Scandal

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 05:00 AM PDT

By Thornton Crowe

True to form, it seems holiday weekends seem to be the timing of choice for revelations in the on-going scandals concerning Hillary Clinton's misdeeds.

Perhaps the powers that be hope we'll forget over the long weekends, but they should know right now, anything related to the Clinton Foundation and email server scandal will not soon fade in our memories as more facts keep coming out. In recent polls, more than 59% of American Voters feel she is not honest or trustworthy. Not a good number for a person applying to represent the people!

The latest is the "I don't recall" interview with the FBI on July 2nd, where Clinton basically claimed her concussion made it impossible for her to recall briefings on handling classified information. Guess there are some die-hard fans that will believe this nonsense; however, as many recall her swearing in rallies and interviews with Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, she had full command of her faculties. Maybe she never thought the world would see the interview notes or maybe, she just didn't care, but her excuses and outright lies to Americans are more apparent now than ever before.

In fact, during many occasions including those in front of the Benghazi Committee, Clinton reaffirmed many times over that she knew what classified information was and that she neither sent nor received any classified emails to her private server. She also stated she had only one device and now, we find through her interview with the FBI, she had thirteen Blackberries (which she lost with classified emails on them) and several iPads and more than two servers. Her way of destroying what cellphones she didn't lose was by smashing them with a hammer. All actions were explicitly in violation of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) regulations without question!

FBI August Raid of Clinton's Election
Office in Philadelphia (2016)
At last tally, Hillary Clinton told the FBI 40 times that she couldn't recall any briefings or how her email server was set up. Yet, we are to believe she's competent to hold the highest office in the land? I would say not. Anyone with such a diminished capacity has no business running for the presidency. Nor does it bode well for her with most of America.
Her poll numbers have been on a steady decline as more traction is found with the pay to play politics and access to government her donors have enjoyed while she was Secretary of State. The evidence is so blatant it would take a mute not to see the corruption in a cause and effect pattern between deeds and speaking fees paid to her husband, former president Bill Clinton.

As seen in the documentary, Clinton Cash, the evidence is clear and without question so the latest reveals are just more par for the course with the Clintons' business as usual tactics, using subversion and continual denials. They've gotten to the point where they don't even attempt to hide their misdeeds because America has let them get away with every trick in the book thus far. However, is their luck running out?

Don't forget, while many Americans have lost respect for the FBI, they still have six other investigations that are on-going in New York, Little Rock and DC with the US Attorney's Offices in those districts. Unfortunately, they had to go this route due to the Department of Justice shutting down investigations on the Clinton Foundation. The final decision came down from Attorney General Loretta Lynch in the middle of August. These investigations are bringing many elements together and all spearheaded in a joint operation between the agency and prosecutors in those districts.

Former Texas Governor, Rick Perry, has demanded for FBI Director James B. Comey to step down due to the recent developments because, he believes Clinton's lying to authorities should be acted on immediately and feels the director's decision not to recommend criminal charges was politically motivated.

NYC's Southern District
US Attorney Preet Bharara
Understanding Perry's stance, it would be more advantageous to hold off and see what he (Comey) has in the works with NY District's Preet Bharara before bringing down the axe just yet. They had been in contact for several months prior to Clinton's interview and are still moving forward with whatever they had going prior to his statements on July 5th.

At no point in election history has any one candidate had so much scandal and investigations going on while running for the Presidency. While she's not the first woman to run for president, Clinton is by far the most investigated! The shroud of scandal that surrounds her is just too hard to ignore, even for her most staunch supporters as the evidence continues to mount.

Let's see what the upcoming weeks yields as surely, it will be anything but boring...

Local Elected Officials Are Full Of Chicken Sh!t

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

If you wanted to open a Bar but you seem to be somewhat close to a Church, did you know you have to be 500 feet or more away from their front door to your front door? That's a fact.

However, when it comes to chicken houses, currently you only have to be 100 feet away from any property line. After almost ten months of deliberation, meetings and public discussions, (get this) they've been able to expand that distance from 100 feet to 400 feet, WOW!

Now here's the most interesting part you're not hearing from your so called Main Stream Media. Did you know that not one Town representative has been to ANY of the meetings regarding the BIGGEST industry on the entire Eastern Shore!

Yeah, there are a ton of people out there screaming at the County Executive as well as County Council Members but you know what, it's NOT their fault. You see, YOU elect local Mayors, Town Managers and sorts to REPRESENT YOU and your community/municipality. If you happen to own a piece of land that sits next to a large parcel of land and someone buys it to open up chicken houses, well, they'll be 400 feet away from you with a landscaping buffer to separate the two properties, WOW!

Now you people understand this. Not one of your Town Representatives showed up to these public meetings and there's been a lot of them. I've talked to some of the County Council Members about this issues and they agree, the newly proposed legislation they'll be voting on next Tuesday is not perfect but it will stop any new applicants from getting away with what was on the books in the past and they can tweak things as time goes on.

When you elect a Mayor or Town Manager, know what the heck you are doing. STOP voting for lazy chicken sh!t people who don't take their position seriously because in this case every single one of them in Wicomico County failed you 100%. Every meeting on this matter should have been packed with your town representatives.

Barbra Streisand to Leave US If Trump Elected

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

Entertainer Barbra Streisand has said she will leave the United States if Donald Trump becomes president.

In an interview on 60 Minutes with Australia-based correspondent Michael Usher, Streisand said that if Trump is elected, "I'm either coming to your country if you'll let me in, or Canada."

Streisand, who is an ardent Democrat, said she is very worried about the election.

"I don't take anything for granted. I want Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States. But there is still a lot of sexism, and 'A woman being president?' you know, and making fun of her, the way [Donald Trump] insults her right and left, and has no facts."

Acknowledging that Trump's campaign has led to an increased level of tension and division within the country, Streisand said she thought it was due to Trump "saying things that probably a lot of people have thought but have never said."

A Viewer Writes.....WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH PRMC???

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

I want to know what in the world we are ever going to do about the Emergency Room at Peninsula Regional Medical Center? I have NEVER in my life seen or experienced such a pitiful excuse for emergency "health" care. Let me explain…

My sister, 53, was taken by ambulance with possible heart attack to PRMC at approximately 9:45am. She was taken to the trauma room, connected to the monitor and all the protocol's followed. Her pain was so far above a 10 that she could barely breathe. Due to her heart rate and blood pressure running LOW, she was given a baby dose of morphine, a nitro tablet under her tongue and nitro patch on her chest. Well… of course her pressure continued to run in 90's (normal 120), her heart rate ran in the 30's and low 40's (normal is 60-80), her oxygen level would drop into the 80's (below 90 you need to have oxygen via nasal canula), and she would stop breathing. Now, I sat by her side, had her hold my hand and squeeze it through the wave of pain, and I continued to remind her to breathe. Where were the nurses you ask? That was my question. The alarm was going off on the monitor, constantly.

After an hour and a half or so, a code red was called. This meant another ambulance was coming in, critical condition. They came into my sister, told us they were going to have to move her to another room due to this other patient coming in. She was taken off the monitor (still in pain), and moved into another room. Everyone left. Did they hook her back up to ANYTHING? Nope! We waited for half an hour before anyone came back into the room, and I had to go get someone to come in and do it! Now, here you have a patient that comes into the emergency room, by ambulance, possible heart attack, low blood pressure, low heart rate, low oxygen, low respiration due to pain, and not attached to any monitors for half an hour! Her pain was still terrible. She couldn't get pain medication because of having the low blood pressure; she had a headache from the nitro patch, and complained of such terrible dizziness. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. I had to ask the "nurse?" if she didn't think that my sister needed to be on oxygen, since her O2 was running 88! She thought that was a good idea!!!!

Of course, the monitor's alarm was continuing to go off quite often due to her heart rate dropping below 38, so, in comes someone (have no clue who), and says he was going to change the settings on the monitor because the alarm was a pain, and didn't need to be going off so often. I made the comment that it was going off because of her heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels going so low, and didn't he think they needed to know what was going on. I was informed they could see it at the desk.

Finally, at approximately 12:30, I went out of the room, found someone, made the comment that my sister had been brought in by ambulance that morning with a possible heart attack, and it was now 12:30, I thought maybe it was time that we saw a doctor! It wasn't many minutes before this person came in the room dressed in a t-shirt and blue pants. She leaned over my sister, turned off the television, stated that the tests so far didn't show anything but that they knew something
was going on and that as soon as they knew something they would let her know. No introduction, no how are you feeling, nothing. My sisters' fiancé, trying to "lighten" this person's mood just a little, asked what was ailing her then. The woman (I will assume was the doctor) said, "And who are you?" We just looked at her. She finally said, "We don't know what's ailing her." She then left the room. This doctor was obnoxious. She didn't know what we had just been through in the last thirty days. Nor, apparently, did she care that we were sitting there watching our loved one in excruciating pain or that I was a nurse and understood what the monitors numbers meant!

Just to give you just a little background, my 37 year old son passed away, complications from cardiomegaly, a 53 year old friend past away from cardiac arrest, now my sister in the ER with possible heart attack! All this within thirty days, and this "doctor" wants to be ugly, nobody wants to address the monitor alarms, her pain, even to just give us any updates at all? I had to leave the room to ask if they were going to run any more fluids or did they want me to disconnect her EMPTY IV bag.

At 2:30, a lady came in the room, and said, "You know you are being admitted?" Our answer was "No". We hadn't seen anyone since the nurse had come in to disconnect the IV bag. Nobody came in my sisters' room except one very sweet nurse; apologizing for the care my sister had been given. She had been pulled to the other trauma and another nurse had been assigned to my sister. The other nurse had never come into the room.

So, here we have a possible heart attack patient brought into the ER, by ambulance, in severe pain, low blood pressure, low heart rate, low oxygen saturation, low respirations with basically no care for almost five (5) hours! The only time anyone entered her room was when we went and complained, except when taken for a cat scan. I thought cardiac enzymes were to be drawn every so often? When did that change?

As it turns out, after my sister got to her room, cardiac enzymes were drawn again, and she had in fact, had a heart attack! And believe it or not, most likely, the "wave" of pain she was having in the ER is exactly when she was having the worse of it! Thank goodness, the cardiac catherization showed there was no damage done. Apparently a clot had run through her heart.

I can't say enough about 2W. Everyone on that floor, from the nurses to housekeeping was WONDERFUL! They are the most caring group of people. They made us all feel like the most important people there. What a great group! Maybe PRMC needs to have these folks teach the ER how to treat people.

Now, my next problem…why in the world do you send a patient home in less than 24 hours after having a heart attack? I don't care how "mild" or how "severe" the heart attack is, I don't think that having a cardiac cath at 8:30pm one day means you can go home at lunch time the next day. Patients don't have enough time to hardly realize exactly what has even happened to them, much less know if the medication they are put on is going to work or what the reaction is going to be from that medication! My sister was given prescriptions for medication that she hadn't even had in the hospital. Now how would anyone know if she had a negative reaction to one of these medications when she was home during the day, alone? What if the medication lowered her
blood pressure or heart rate so low that she just stopped breathing? Why, when she was still having pain was she sent home? What if she had another clot? I realize there are always going to be "what if's" but don't you think more than 20 hours in the hospital are needed for a heart attack? Is PRMC afraid that the VA isn't going to pay them? What about the patient, or don't they care?

I was one that used to defend our hospital. I was proud of Peninsula General Hospital. Peninsula Regional Medical Center was pretty good also, for a while, until they started worrying about the Almighty Dollar instead of the patient care. I can say that PRMC's operating room, recovery room, same day surgery, ICU, 2W, Layfield tower, and a few other parts of the hospital are very good but the ER?, not on your life.

I definitely understand now why people say they are going to the morgue when they are headed to the ER. I tried to defend the ER, but after this experience with my sister, never again. I will tell anyone to go somewhere, anywhere else. If she had a massive heart attack, I'm afraid she would have died right there. No one would have ever known what was going on.

For an area as big as Salisbury and our surrounding towns, and a hospital as big as Peninsula Regional Medical Center is, this ER is just a disgrace. I'm actually embarrassed for the good people that do work there.

Since PRMC is soooo concerned with HIPPA, I won't sign my name… I'm sure the ones involved know who they are!

Laura Mitchell Gets Daily Times Editorial Board To Voice Their opinion On No A/C In Jail

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

While Laura Mitchell is quoted in this recent article, perhaps if the Daily Times actually knew Laura's Son is incarcerated there right now and the only one uncomfortable is Laura visiting him on a regular basis. They actually compared the jail to a dog being placed in a car on a hot summer day.

Look, Laura shouldn't even be on the Council any more. Her home/belongings were packed up and moved weeks ago. I was assure by now the announcement would be made that she is stepping down from the Council but that hasn't happened. Salisbury voters are being cheated right now with her still being able to cast votes when her residence is now in Reistertown, Maryland.

Nevertheless, this editorial is a hit piece for Laura and he Son.

Let's help Laura and the Daily Times out on this one.

People Are Setting Fire To Their Kaepernick Jerseys After He Refused To Stand For The National Anthem

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick stirred controversy in a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Friday night when he remained seated during the national anthem.

On Saturday Kaepernick said he refused to support a country that he believes oppresses black people and other minorities:

I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.

To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.

"I certainly don't share the views that Mr. Kaepernick expressed after the game," said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. "But we surely all acknowledge and even defend his right to express those views."

In God We Trust...

An interesting video find on YouTube has come to my attention that I wanted to share with the Salisbury News readers.

This is an amazing explanation about our Economic System in America. A must-watch for those who are perplexed by our system of governance in regards to finances including taxation and whether or not its even legal for the government to be taxing citizens. Also addressed is major corporations being involved in this plot to make digitized slaves of us more than you already are today.

Perhaps this will explain to many why Donald Trump is such a threat to the establishment within the Beltway. He threatens a lot of people and why the MSM is so desperate for him to not be victorious in November. After watching this, you'll realize it's no wonder everyone seems to be against the only person who knows how this system works and how to destroy it.

From YouTube Description:
Is there a law which requires you to pay the Federal Income Tax? Is the Federal Reserve a part of the United States Government, or is it a private bank owned and operated by multinational corporate interests? Do they have our nation's best interests at heart? Unless something changes, what does the future of the United States look like?
The answer to all these questions and more in this incredible documentary by legendary filmmaker Aaron Russo (February 14, 1943 – August 24, 2007).

Elderly woman beaten, set on fire in black-on-white attack

'I can't imagine being one of their mamas, and know that your child has done this'

An elderly woman who was beaten and burned during a robbery inside her Meriwether County, Georgia, home has died from her injuries.

Dorothy Dow, 83, was lying in her bed when police said several people kicked in her back door and attacked her on the night of Aug. 4.

"These suspects began to demand money from Miss Dow. She pleaded with them that she didn't have any money. They began to brutally beat her," Sheriff Chuck Smith told WSB-TV.

Dow's arms and fingers were broken, and her face was battered. The sheriff said the robbers then set her on fire with a flammable liquid.

Ravens coach defends Kaepernick's right to protest

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

OWINGS MILLS, Md. —Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is the latest person to weigh in on the controversy involving San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit down during the national anthem before NFL games.

Kaepernick said he decided to sit down during the anthem to show he stands with people who he said are being oppressed in the U.S.

While many people say they disagree with the decision, Harbaugh said taking a stand sometimes comes with criticism.

"I think as a coach, it is something you always think about," Harbaugh told reporters on Monday. "We deal with that on a regular basis, because we are talking about adults -- grown men. We are talking about a free country. I'm grateful for the right to express my displeasure, and that is what Colin chose to do."

Harbaugh said, as a coach, it is important to respect the opinions of those on the team, even if you disagree with them.

Obama bans Confederate flag at cemeteries

Unilaterally imposes restrictions rejected by Congress

(WASHINGTON TIMES)
The Veterans Affairs Department quietly moved this month to ban flying of Confederate flags from fixed flagpoles at the cemeteries it runs, striking yet another blow against the controversial emblem.

Congress had debated and rejected that change, but the Obama administration decided to move forward anyway, saying it was unilaterally imposing the restrictions.

"In particular, we will amend our policy to make clear that Confederal flags will not be displayed from any permanently fixed flagpole in a national cemetery at any time," wrote Ronald E. Walters, under secretary for memorial affairs at the VA.

Limbaugh warns NFL players they could ‘destroy’ own league

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

'Business depends on massive public love and support and attention and money'

PALM BEACH, Florida –
As controversy continues over the refusal to stand for the national anthem by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, radio powerhouse Rush Limbaugh issued a stern warning to NFL players, saying they could destroy the league with their political views.

"The American people are not going to sit by idly and watch the stage of the National Football League stolen and used for personal political purposes," Limbaugh said on his Tuesday broadcast.

"You players in the NFL, you can go ahead and try to continue stealing the stage of the NFL if you want. You can take the example of Kaepernick and you can try to get some news coverage, you can draw attention to yourself, but you run the risk of obliterating the stage on which you perform that earns you your living and gives you the opportunity to succeed beyond your wildest dreams.

"You better be careful in what and how you express your thoughts on this country, the greatest place in the history of mankind. And the residents of this country are among the luckiest in the history of all humanity. The National Football League is on TV. It can easily be turned off. The National Football League is sponsored by beer and cars and soft drinks that can easily be not purchased. Not that hard. Just turn it off."

Europhysics magazine report finds Twin Towers brought down by 'controlled demolition'

WASHINGTON –
For 15 years, there's been a small band of investigators who have questioned the idea that the Twin Towers in New York City collapsed because of the intense heat and fires raging following two terrorist-directed plane crashes.

But they have largely been dismissed as crazy conspiracy theorists.

Now, however, Europhysics Magazine, the respected publication of the European physics community, has published a report by four experts who say "the evidence points overwhelmingly to the conclusion that all three buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition."

"Given the far-reaching implications, it is morally imperative that this hypothesis be the subject of a truly scientific and impartial investigation by responsible authorities," the four physicists conclude.

Maryland: 14 Arrested In Raids Related to $16 Million Food Stamp Fraud

14 Retailers Facing Federal Indictment for $16 Million Food Stamp Fraud

Defendants Allegedly Received Over $16 Million from USDA for Food Stamps Allegedly Traded for Cash; 26 Search Warrants Executed; 46 Bank Accounts Seized

Baltimore, Maryland - A federal grand jury has returned nine separate indictments charging a total of 14 retail store operators for committing food stamp fraud and wire fraud in connection with schemes to illegally redeem food stamp benefits in exchange for cash. The indictments allege the retailers received over $16 million in federal payments for transactions in which they did not provide any food, a fraud scheme commonly known as "food stamp trafficking." Stores allegedly split the proceeds with food stamp recipients. The indictments were unsealed today upon the arrests of the defendants.

Over 300 members of law enforcement participated in the arrests and execution of a total of 26 search warrants at the stores and related locations this morning. In addition, 46 bank accounts were seized.

The indictments were announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein; Special Agent in Charge William G. Squires, Jr. of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of Inspector General, Northeast Region; and Special Agent in Charge Kevin Perkins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

"The food stamp program is intended to put food on the tables of needy recipients, not to put money in the pockets of greedy criminals," said U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein. "Honest storeowners work hard to earn a profit by actually selling food, and food producers and distributors also benefit. People who play by the rules deserve to know that criminals who defraud them will be held accountable."

"Far from being a victimless crime, the offenders in this investigation defrauded a combined amount of approximately $16 million from taxpayer funded programs," stated Kevin Perkins, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Baltimore Office. "These programs are intended to provide assistance for those in need—not a means of abuse or selfish enrichment. The FBI Baltimore Division, along with our federal, state and local partners, remain steadfast in our commitment to root out those who steal from taxpayers and defraud our government programs."

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as the Food Stamp Program, is administered by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), together with state agencies. The program funds low-income individuals to allow them to obtain a more nutritious diet. In Maryland, the program provides eligible individuals with an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card called the Independence Card, which operates like a debit card. Recipients obtain EBT cards through the state Department of Human Resources, then use the EBT card to purchase approved food items from participating retailers.

Retailers must apply to and be approved by FNS to participate in the program. Authorized retailers use a point-of-sale terminal that checks the EBT card information and deducts the cash value of the purchase from the customer's SNAP benefit balance. SNAP reimbursements are paid to retailers through electronic funds transfers. Retailers must bill the government only in return for providing approved food items.

The indictments allege that the defendants exchanged EBT benefits for cash, in violation of the food stamp program rules. The indictments allege that the defendants typically paid half the value of the EBT benefits in cash. To avoid detection, the defendants often debited the funds from the card in multiple transactions over a period of hours or days, or called a different store where the transaction was processed manually. As a result of unlawful cash transactions, the defendants obtained more than $16,482,270 in EBT deposits for transactions in which food sales never occurred or were substantially inflated.

According to the indictments, the defendants listed below owned and/or operated stores in the Baltimore area that were authorized to accept SNAP. The defendants received instruction regarding the requirements and regulations of the food stamp program, including that only eligible food items could be exchanged for EBT benefits and that a retailer may never exchange EBT benefits for cash or non-food items.

UPDATE | 17-year-old charged with bus assault on 5-year-old turns himself in to police

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

BAMBERG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A 17-year-old accused of hitting a 5-year-old girl on a school bus has turned himself in to police Tuesday morning.

Tavon Walters turned himself in at 10 a.m., and a bond hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Walters is accused of hitting the girl on the bus ride from the schools to the after school program.

Parents of a 5 year-old girl are furious. They say security video, taken on a Bamberg school bus, shows her being hit. Now, the 17-year-old accused of hitting her has a warrant out for his arrest. Jasmine's parents want to know why the high school student was allowed to ride the bus in the first place.

Terry Peters says he immediately noticed the mark on his little girl's face when he picked her up from after school care on Thursday. "I'm very upset! I'm mad," Peters said.

He says the daycare workers told him 17 year old Tavon Walters, a high school student, hit his daughter on the bus ride from the schools to the after school program. "He had reached over that seat and telling another girl if you don't hit her then I'm going to hit her for you," the father said.

A Viewer Writes: Pasco is one fine business

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

Well had my alternator die on me today. Which is Sunday. I was right in front of Pasco in Fruitland. I managed to get my truck into the parking lot and went on in to get some help. Well even though it is Sunday they were open but not for service . Was informed I had to wait until Monday. I was obviously in dire straits by the look on my face when the young man asked if I was OK. I informed him I had to be in Fairfax VA later that evening for business and an early morning appointment. I was totally screwed. I was going to buy everything i could think of a do the repairs in the parking lot. The young man asked me to give him a minute and proceeded to make a phone call. Within minutes the owner and a tech appeared to properly diagnose the problem and fix it. All to happy to help! No only did they do this but informed me of the cheapest way to go all while informing me that I didn't need certain things I thought I would. Saving me a lot of money! This was their day off! I could have been told sorry about my luck but was only greeted with the need to help not just a customer but a person period! This kind of service isn't readily available here on the shore! But it is most definitely available at Pasco! I can't thank them enough for not only their help and service. But treating me and my family like friends. Refusing to leave me stranded. More businesses around here can learn alot from them!

Pasco customer for life

Gov. Hogan Expected To Mandate Md. School Year Begin After Labor Day

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Governor Larry Hogan is expected to mandate this week that Maryland schools open after Labor Day in future school years.

This year, students in 24 out of 25 districts have already reported to their first day of class.

Worcester County is the only Maryland district with a post-Labor Day start. It houses one of the state's biggest vacation spots, Ocean City.

That's where Hogan will be joined by Comptroller Peter Franchot at a press conference scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Franchot has been outspoken in his support for a post-Labor Day start date for two years, since an economic impact report showed it's worth more than $74 million to the economy.

Women bare breasts for equality in New York City

Posted: 04 Sep 2016 03:00 AM PDT

HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) — They took it off for equality.

A few dozen women, and some men, went topless Sunday afternoon as they walked down Broadway in New York City. It was part of GoTopless Day, which calls for women to have as much right as men to be bare-chested in public.

The march was led by some women carrying a banner, followed by others in a convertible, with the top down, of course. Coming up at the end was a pair of giant inflatable breasts. Onlookers gawked and took photos as the parade participants went by.
