The Conservative Student's Survival Guide Posted: 27 Aug 2016 09:00 PM PDT Fall semester is upon us, and while most freshmen look forward to starting their college years, conservative students have reason to feel more than a little anxiety; they know they will be subjected to a constant stream of Leftist dogma, in their classrooms and all around campus, by their professors, by activist student groups, and even by their friends. Fortunately, they are not alone. As Matthew Woessner, Associate Professor of Political Science at Penn State University, Harrisburg, explains in this week's video, there are simple tips that every conservative student should keep in mind.

Doctors Surgically Remove 40 Knives From Man’s Stomach Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:30 PM PDT A man in India spent two months swallowing knives and had 40 of them surgically removed from his stomach, according to the doctor who led the operation. "He had a wild urge to consume metal. Even for us, the experienced surgeons, it was frightening," Dr. Jatinder Malhotra told CNN. "We were so nervous… a small mistake could have taken the patient's life. In my 20 years of practice, I have never seen anything like it." Malhotra said it took his team about two days to form a diagnosis and surgery plan. The five-hour operation took place Friday in the northern Indian city of Amritsar, a Sikh holy city in the state of Punjab. More
Julian Assange Says Wikileaks Will Release Clinton Documents Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:00 PM PDT Julian Assange, the co-founder and editor of Wikileaks, says that his organization will "absolutely" be releasing thousands of "significant" documents regarding Hillary Clinton before the Nov. 8 election. "We're working around the clock. We have received quite a lot of material," Assange told Fox News' Megyn Kelly during an interview that aired Wednesday. Asked if he will release the documents before the election, Assange replied: "Yes, absolutely." Assange has previously teased an "October surprise" that could threaten Clinton's candidacy. The release, should it occur, would follow last month's dump of nearly 20,000 pages of emails and documents hacked from the Democratic National Committee. More

Clinton Refuses To Discuss Her Colin Powell Claims Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:00 PM PDT Hillary Clinton refused on Wednesday to answer direct questions about her claim — one she reportedly made to the FBI last month — that former Sec. of State Colin Powell advised her at a 2009 dinner party to use a personal email account. "I'm not going to re-litigate in public my private conversations with him," Clinton told CNN's Anderson Cooper in an interview, her first national interview in nearly a month. More
Officials: Zika spread through sex by man with no symptoms Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:30 PM PDT NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. health officials on Friday reported the first case of Zika spread through sex by a man with no symptoms of the disease. In the other 21 U.S. cases of sexual transmission, the virus was spread by someone who at some point had symptoms. The report details the case of a Maryland man who went to the Dominican Republic, where there is a Zika outbreak. He didn't get sick during the trip or when he returned. But his sex partner, who hadn't traveled, did get sick with Zika and recovered. Zika is mainly spread by mosquitoes. Most infected people don't get sick. It can cause a mild illness, with fever, rash and joint pain. But infection during pregnancy can lead to severe brain-related birth defects. More
Burns: Dems Elected First Black Pres, Haven't Helped Blacks Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:00 PM PDT During a Thursday morning interview on CNN, Pastor Mark Burns made the case for why black Americans should vote for Donald Trump. Burns, an avid Trump supporter, said he loves to "see the excitement in this country that more and more African-Americans that are standing up and saying I am supporting Donald Trump." "I understand what the Democratic party and Hillary Clinton have done for African-Americans," he continued. "We are happy that we've elected the first black man to become president of these United States of America, but we also look back at many of our urban centers in this country. Many are still on welfare and many that are still unemployed." "We have been used by the Democratic Party for so long, now we have to have a voice," Burns stated. "Many, many African-Americans across this country are waking up and saying, 'Mr. Trump, we may not have liked how you've said certain things, but we do believe that you're a winner." More

Kent County unveils pet disaster relief trailer Posted: 27 Aug 2016 04:30 PM PDT CHESTERTOWN — Kent County now has a Pet Disaster Relief Trailer, designed to provide a temporary shelter for pets whose owners are forced to evacuate their homes after a hurricane, flood or other disaster. The trailer, sponsored by several organizations including the Maryland Kennel Club, was on display following the Kent County Commissioners' meeting Tuesday. It includes cages, food, bedding and other supplies to keep pets safe, warm and well fed during an emergency displacement of their familes. Ginger Gregg of the county Office of Emergency Services said the trailer can provide shelter for as many as 65 cats, dogs, rabbits or other small pets. She said the OES conducted a drill to test its readiness for a hurricane, and several pets were brought to the trailer, including a snake. Wayne Darrell, director of emergency services, said all counties on the Upper Shore now have pet trailers. In the event of a hurricane or other emergency, the trailer will be located at Kent County High School in Worton near the community center, which is the designated shelter for residents who need to evacuate. Obama's strategy on Clinton scandal: Play dumb Posted: 27 Aug 2016 04:00 PM PDT The Obama administration said Wednesday that it didn't know too much and didn't care to look into the latest scandal to hit Hillary Clinton's campaign: the release of documents that appear to show she gave several donors to the Clinton Foundation special access to the State Department when she ran it. Several questions were asked about whether there were fears at the White House or State Department that Clinton operated a "pay-to-play" system, or whether it even looked bad enough to warrant further investigation. But at each turn, officials said they simply didn't know enough about it to comment, and indicated they wouldn't be doing much to look into it further. More

Feds honor 2 Maryland employers who support Guard, Reserve Posted: 27 Aug 2016 03:30 PM PDT Secretary of Defense Ash Carter awarded today the 15 recipients of the 2016 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, the highest honor the Department of Defense gives to employers for support of National Guard and Reserve employees. "These 15 awardees are helping to make DoD and our country stronger," said Secretary Carter during the Pentagon award ceremony, which included a performance by country singer Lee Greenwood. "Today, more than ever, the commitment they've shown to our country, and to those who serve our country, is indispensable." The 2016 recipients were selected from 2,424 nominations received from guardsmen and reservists, rising above other companies because of strong, direct-action programs to support service members and their families, particularly during deployment. For example, one company pays service members up to 12 months of full pay while on military duty, including 401K and retirement plans. The company president also participates in "warrior yoga" with his employees to address post-traumatic stress and other service-related issues to establish a sense of well-being in their lives. Other companies provided benefits like spousal support groups, free child care, relocation assistance, help with yard work while a service member is deployed and continuing health care benefits for families of deployed employees. "We are honored to be able to recognize these employers that really go above and beyond for our service members," said Paul Mock, national chair, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. "They serve as shining examples, ensuring the continued readiness of our guard and reserve forces." The 2016 Freedom Award recipients are: · Alaska Airlines; Anchorage, Alaska; nominated by Air Force Reserve · Albuquerque Police Department; Albuquerque, New Mexico; nominated by Air National Guard · Benjamin Franklin Plumbing; Springfield, Missouri; nominated by Navy Reserve · Burford Corporation; Maysville, Oklahoma; nominated by Army National Guard · Carolinas Healthcare System; Charlotte, North Carolina; nominated by Air National Guard · Clackamas County Sheriff's Office; Oregon City, Oregon; nominated by Army National Guard · Delmarva Veteran Builders; Salisbury, Maryland; nominated by Air Force Reserve · FASTSIGNS International, Inc.; Carrollton, Texas; nominated by Air Force Reserve · Hope Valley Industries; North Kingstown, Rhode Island; nominated by Air National Guard · Idaho State Police; Meridian, Idaho; nominated by Army Reserve / Army National Guard · Lowe's; Mooresville, North Carolina; nominated by Navy Reserve · Maryland State Police; Pikesville, Maryland; nominated by Army Reserve · Prairie Grove Consolidated School District 46; Crystal Lake, Illinois; nominated by Marine Corps Reserve · Seattle Fire Department; Seattle, Washington; nominated by Navy Reserve · The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company; Akron, Ohio; nominated by Navy Reserve The award was created to publicly recognize employers who provide exceptional support to their Guard and Reserve employees. It is the highest in a series of employer recognition awards given by the DoD. Almost one-half of the U.S. military is comprised of the Guard and Reserve. The DoD shares these citizen warriors with their civilian employers, many of whom provide significant support to their employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve. This award recognizes employers who provide the most outstanding support for their Guard and Reserve employees and is presented annually by the Secretary of Defense. For more information on the 2016 Freedom Award program, visit www.freedomaward.mil. Gowdy Lays Out What Answers Clinton Hasn’t Given on Private Email Posted: 27 Aug 2016 03:00 PM PDT Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) laid out Thursday on America's Newsroom which questions he said Hillary Clinton has failed to answer about her private email server and deletion practices. Gowdy, a House Oversight Committee member, said he did not see questions about Clinton's intent in the FBI report on the bureau's interview with her. While FBI Director James Comey said Clinton was "extremely careless" with emails, he did not recommend prosecution largely because she did not seem to have intent to commit wrongdoing. "I didn't see any questions on that," Gowdy said. "She said she did it it for convenience, but I didn't see the follow-up questions in the interview I read." More/Video
Franchot Says Baltimore County Schools' Heat Closing 'Embarassing' Posted: 27 Aug 2016 02:30 PM PDT Baltimore County schools are making use of their new heat closing policy, but state Comptroller Peter Franchot, long a crusader for air conditioning in Baltimore city and county schools, says it's "embarrassing" it came to this point. "All of those could have been avoided five years ago with a minimal amount of money on box air conditioning units," he told WBAL talk host C4 in an interview. "For whatever reason, Baltimore County has dragged its feet." With temperatures well into the 90s and heat indices flirting with triple digits in the Baltimore area, 37 Baltimore County schools still without central air are closed, but the 40 city schools in the same situation remain open. In May, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, at risk of losing state capital funding for schools, announced plans to fund central air in the county schools still without it by August 2018. However, Franchot charges the county is behind schedule in its implementation of that plan. More
Report: Clinton Foundation Helped Facilitate Backdoor US Arms Sales To Bahrain Following Donation Posted: 27 Aug 2016 02:00 PM PDT Newly released emails obtained by Judicial Watch confirm that the Prince of Bahrain gained access to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton through the Clinton Foundation in June of 2009 after unsuccessfully trying "normal channels." Bahrain Crown Prince Salman's meeting with Clinton was arranged by her close aide Huma Abedin. Because of course. "[He's] asking to see her," Doug Band, a senior executive at the Clinton Foundation told Abedin via email. "Good friend of ours." Abedin confessed that Salman had already placed a request for a meeting through "normal channels." "I asked and [Hillary] said she doesn't want to commit to anything for thurs or fri until she knows how she will feel," Abedin wrote, replying back to Band. Shortly after in a follow-up email, Abedin told the high-ranking Clinton Foundation employee that "HRC" had decided to meet with Crown Prince Salman. The message was then presumably transmitted to Bahrain. More/Video

Sharpley case goes to circuit court Posted: 27 Aug 2016 12:30 PM PDT District Court Judge Gerald Purnell agreed with the prosecution on Tuesday in Snow Hill that there was enough evidence against Worcester County Deputy Fire Marshal Rodney Sharpley, 54, of Pocomoke City, to remand the case to Circuit Court. Sharpley is facing charges, including a felony, stemming from an incident in late June that ended with him allegedly pointing a handgun at both a uniformed, on-duty Pocomoke City Police Officer and the juvenile daughter of Sharpley's live-in girlfriend. According to testimony, Sharpley was ordered several times by police to drop the weapon before complying. Officer Thomas testified that after police identified themselves to Sharpley, he held them and the juvenile at gunpoint for 10 seconds. More
Eighty-Two Percent of TB Cases in Nebraska Are Foreign-Born Posted: 27 Aug 2016 12:00 PM PDT Only six percent of the 1.9 million residents of the Cornhusker State are foreign-born Eighty-two percent of the active tuberculosis (TB) cases diagnosed in Nebraska in 2014, that's 31 out of 38, were foreign-born, according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Only six percent of the 1.9 million residents of the Cornhusker State are foreign-born. 2014's 38 active TB cases represented an 80 percent increase in active TB cases in the state in one year, up from 21 in 2013. The number of U.S. born cases of active TB in the state actually declined from 8 in 2013 to 7 in 2014. State investigates OCPD involved fatal crash Posted: 27 Aug 2016 11:30 AM PDT Accident in May took life of pedestrian after being hit by marked police vehicle The Ocean City Police Department officials say they are confident that the three-month-long investigation into the officer-involved crash that killed a man will be coming to a close soon, and that they will take whatever next step is required. On May 5, 67-year-old Jeffrey Yale Delong was struck and killed by a patrol car driven by an on-duty officer. Delong was crossing Coastal Highway east to west around 94th Street with two other pedestrians against the signal light when he was hit by a marked police Chevy Tahoe. Five-year veteran Officer Xeniya Patterson was operating the vehicle. Shortly after the incident, city officials said Patterson was placed on administrative leave. She returned to active duty on May 8. "Her mental state was taken [into] consideration before she returned, but we cannot take disciplinary actions that are necessary until an internal review is complete," Police Public Affairs Specialist Lindsay Richard said. "And we are not able to complete the review until we get the results from Maryland State Police, which will be soon." More

‘Beach Ball’ Tower Takes Shape; Ocean City’s Logo Will Soon Be Added Posted: 27 Aug 2016 10:30 AM PDT OCEAN CITY — The "beach ball" paint scheme on the new downtown water tower is starting to take shape, but it could be weeks or even months before the project is completed. Late last winter and early spring, the Town of Ocean City's new water tower at 1stStreet and St. Louis Avenue steadily rose from the ground, at different times appearing as a dull, gray beacon lurking over the downtown landscape, but over the last week or so, it has begun to take shape with its somewhat unique "beach ball" paint scheme welcoming visitors along one of the main entrances to the resort. Last year, the Mayor and Council approved the beach ball design after learning it would cost just about $10,000 more than the traditional pale blue scheme seen on most of the resort's water towers. Leaked Memo Exposes George Soros' Plan To Overthrow Putin & Destabilise Russia Posted: 27 Aug 2016 10:00 AM PDT The recent DC Leaks, of over 2,500 documents from George Soros NGOs, has shed a bright light on how the billionaire uses his vast wealth to create global chaos in an never ending push to deliver his neo-liberal euphoria to the peasant classes. While Soros has managed to thoroughly destabilise the European Union by promoting mass immigration and open borders, divided the United States by actively funding Black Lives Matters and corrupting the very corruptible US political class, and destroyed Ukraine by pushing for an illegal coup of a democratically elected government using neo-nazi strong men…one country that Soros has not bee able to crack has been The Russian Federation. Russia's political pragmatism and humanist value system rooted in a traditional, "nation-state" culture most likely infuriates Soros. Russia is Soros' white whale... a creature he has been trying to capture and kill-off for nearly a decade. Unfortunately for Soros (and fortunately for the entire planet) the Russian government realised the cancerous nature of Soros backed NGOs, and took the proper preventative measures…which in hindsight, and after reviewing the DC Leaks memos, proved to be a very wise move. On November 30th 2015, ZeroHedge reported, Russian Prosecutor General's Office issued a statement in which it recognized George Soros's Open Society Institute and another affiliated organization as "undesirable groups", banning Russian citizens and organizations from participation in any of their projects. Earlier today, the Clinton campaign released a video which "makes the case that Donald Trump is the candidate of racists, white supremacists and neo-Nazis." Many Germans expressed alarm after the German government advised them to ensure they had stockpiles of food and water that could last up to 10 days in the event of a national catastrophe, leading to panic buying and empty shelves. That warning formed part of the government's new 'Concept for Civil Defense', further details of which were announced by Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere yesterday. More

Hardwire’s NYPD Contract Helping Another County Business Posted: 27 Aug 2016 09:30 AM PDT SNOW HILL – No one doubted that the large contract Hardwire LLC acquired with the NYPD would benefit the Pocomoke-based company. "It's keeping money on the shore and keeping people employed." According to George Tunis, chairman and CEO of Hardwire, the company has a large contract with the NYPD to up-armor police cars, outfitting them with bulletproof doors. Emails on Clinton Foundation mess finally getting media traction Posted: 27 Aug 2016 09:23 AM PDT Hillary Clinton's greatest self-inflicted wound is bleeding again. And this time the stain is spreading, even across media outlets that have played down the controversy for months. I believe the press got bored with the email mess as it dragged on for more than a year. The story also got bogged down at times by increasingly legalistic debates over what qualified as classified info and whether the former secretary of State had sent or received it. The buzz grew louder as the FBI was wrapping up its probe, speculation intensified about whether she'd be indicted, and James Comey contradicted much of what Clinton had said and accused her of being extremely careless with classified messages. But then it seemed to be over, except that a separate probe involving the Clinton Foundation was still kicking around. More
Donald Trump: Hillary Clinton Attacking 'Millions of Decent Americans' with Racism Charge Posted: 27 Aug 2016 09:15 AM PDT Donald Trump addressed Hillary Clinton's upcoming remarks on the "alt-right" movement during his campaign rally in New Hampshire on Thursday, saying it's "the oldest play in the Democratic playbook" and that although Democrats always return to that same well, "the well has run dry." Trump stated: The news reports are that Hillary Clinton is going to try to accuse this campaign, and the millions of decent Americans who support this campaign, of being racists. It's the oldest play in the Democratic playbook. When Democratic policies fail, they are left with only this one tired argument. It's the last refuge of the discredited politician. They keep going back to this same well, but the well has run dry. More

Hillary Clinton Withheld Benghazi Documents Posted: 27 Aug 2016 09:00 AM PDT Among the 14,900 federal documents Hillary Clinton is said to have failed to turn over to the State Department in 2014 are some related to the Benghazi attacks, according to Judicial Watch. The conservative watchdog group says that government lawyers admitted in court papers filed on Tuesday that the nearly 15,000 pages of Clinton records recovered by the FBI included some which "satisfied the [Benghazi-related] search terms." That suggests that Clinton withheld or deleted records which referred to the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks which left four Americans dead. Clinton has claimed that a team of her aides searched through her email account using search terms for a variety of issues, including Benghazi. More

Public demonstrations are limited to three locations on campus: the Student Union Plaza, Prather Coliseum East Parking Lot and a so-called "Green Space between CAPA and Varnado Hall." McCain’s Primary Opponent: He’s Gotten Weak and Old, Could Die in Office Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:37 AM PDT Arizona Senate Republican primary candidate Kelli Ward doubled down on her attacks on Sen. John McCain's (R., Ariz.) age Thursday on Meet The Press Daily, saying he had gotten old and weak and suggesting he was near the end of his life. Ward, who is trailing McCain in the polls with the primary less than a week away, was blasted by the Washington Post for launching "one of the nastiest political attacks." "I'm actually the only Republican that can win in the general election," she said. "John McCain is falling down on the job. He's gotten weak. He's gotten old. I do want to wish him a happy birthday. He's going to be 80 on Monday, and I want to give him the best birthday present ever, the gift of retirement." "So you think he's too old to serve in the Senate?" host Chuck Todd asked. "I think anybody who's been in Washington for almost 40 years has been there too long," Ward said. "But you brought up his age. That's a tough attack," Todd said. "Well, I'm a physician," she said. "I see the physiological changes that happen in normal aging in patients again and again and again over the last 20, 25 years, so I do know what happens to the body and the mind at the end of life." "You feel comfortable diagnosing him on air like this?" Todd asked. "Diagnosing him as an 80-year-old man? Yes, I do," Ward said. "I'm a doctor," she said. "The life expectancy of the American male is not 86. It's less." More
New Regional Economic Group Eyes Teamwork Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:30 AM PDT BERLIN – A new group will provide local economic development officials with the chance to work together to explore initiatives to help their municipalities. Mindie Burgoyne from the Maryland Department of Commerce has launched a new economic development group to be made up of officials from several Eastern Shore towns. "My role is to coordinate regional economic development in the lower three counties," she said. To do that she's invited representatives from Berlin, Ocean City, Salisbury, Snow Hill and Cambridge to join a group that will meet every other month to discuss economic development. Those municipalities were chosen, Burgoyne said, because each of them had a paid position tasked with targeting economic development. "We're going to be putting our heads together to figure out how to bring more jobs to these counties out here," said Ivy Wells, Berlin's economic development director. More
This Young Amtrak Worker Showed Every American the Right Way to Treat a 99-Year-Old WWII Veteran Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:23 AM PDT Late at night, in New York's Penn Station, a beautiful thing happened. A young Amtrak worker noticed an old man in the line, queueing for the last train out of New York. That man had a hat on which read: USN (United States Navy) Armed Services, WWII Veteran. The 99-year-old man, whose name is Ed, is mostly deaf and had a sign around his neck stating so. He was quietly waiting on a train bound for his hometown of Baltimore. More
Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:15 AM PDT NEW YORK CITY, New York — Trumpocrats executive director Christian Rickers told Breitbart News that Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president, is "simply unhinged" as evidenced by her speech in Reno, Nevada, on Thursday. "Hillary is simply unhinged and appealing to the lowest common denominator," Rickers, a lifelong Democrat who backed Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primaries but is now leading a movement crossing over to the Republican Party to back GOP nominee Donald Trump, told Breitbart News in response to Clinton's "alt-right" speech. "Her performance today was more evidence of how desperate she has become." Rickers' organization, the "Trumpocrats," represents the tens of thousands of Democrats who are leaving the Democratic Party because they believe Hillary Clinton does not represent their values—and are instead voting for Trump in the general election. Rickers is planning a bus tour through key battleground states coming up, and is hardly alone: Several other Democrats, as Breitbart News has already reported, are standing up with him—more in those key states than the handful of Republican D.C. insiders who have switched teams to back Hillary Clinton. Speaking on Wednesday's edition of Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM, Harvey told guest host Boyle that "millennials weren't around when Bill and Hillary were in the White House, and now they are all of a sudden seeing … their eyes are being opened up about, oh my gosh, this is really who the Clinton's are? They have this long trail of corruption for all these years, and she's our nominee? The Democrat Party has hoisted her up to be the standard bearer for the Democrats?" More
Who Started The Birther Movement? Hillary Clinton Supporters Posted: 27 Aug 2016 08:00 AM PDT Hillary Clinton blamed Donald Trump for the birther movement on Thursday when in fact it was actually her supporters in 2008 who started the movement. During her campaign event in Reno, Nevada, Clinton said, "Let's not forget that Trump first gained political prominence leading the charge for the so-called 'birthers.' He promoted the racist lie that President Obama is not really an American citizen, part of a sustained effort to delegitimatize America's first black president." In April 2008 during Clinton's and Obama's hotly contested Democratic primary, anonymous emails began circulating by Clinton's supporters that said, "Barack Obama's mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy. She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth." More
‘Black Guns Matter’ Founder: NRA Stood with Blacks When Democrats Attacked in 1960s Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:53 AM PDT Maj Toure, founder of Black Guns Matter, points out that the National Rifle Association (NRA) stood with blacks during the 1960s when Democrat-comprised groups like the Ku Klux Klan were terrorizing and attacking them. While speaking to Ebony magazine about his "Black Guns Matter" group, Toure explains that the NRA stood with the "Deacons for Defense," a group of black men who armed themselves in the 1960s to fight off white terror in the Democrat-controlled south. Ebony asked him about the NRA and whether the NRA has a responsibility to stand up for the black community. Toure responded first by stressing his belief that the black community has to take care of itself and stop "passing the buck." But he also stressed that the NRA stood with the black community in the racially turbulent 1960s–a time when few others did. Toure said: I think the NRA isn't responsible to jump up. They are a civil liberties organization. They're not there to do the work we, as a community, aren't doing. They're there as a resource for people to use to understand and exercise and learn. They're not lawyers, per se. We can't keep passing the buck. As far as I understand, the organization [is] only beholding [sic] to [its] members and if you're not a member, there's a different question there. He then addressed the claim that the NRA should get involved whenever questions of justice are raised by a video of a black man and a white police officer, saying:
Alexander: The Clinton Crime Syndicate Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:45 AM PDT The essential facts about Hillary Clinton's "ethical lapses" — corrupt activities that should render her ineligible for office, if not eligible for prison. In 1992, a young charismatic Democrat from Arkansas, William Jefferson Clinton, defeated a stale older GOP presidential candidate, and then, over two presidential terms, established himself as the undisputed champion of the "BIG lie." In 2008, another young charismatic Demo, Barack Hussein Obama, defeated another stale older GOP presidential candidate, and then, over two presidential terms, took the art of big lies to a whole new level. However, their considerable skills of duplicity and deception notwithstanding, both Bill and Barack have been displaced by the most shameless of all prevaricators, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who lies about everything. I have previously outlined Hillary's prolific record of felonious activities and deadly malfeasance in a chronological study, "From Little Rock to Foggy Bottom." Now she's endeavoring to nationalize the political extortion and profiteering she mastered as secretary of state. In this bizarre quadrennial election cycle, when voters are tasked with choosing the least unfit candidate to lead the blossoming kakistocracy — government by the least qualified and principled charlatan — allow me to highlight what I believe are the two most significant Clinton political liabilities. The flood of 24-hour talking-head news recycling about the latest evidence of Clinton's corruption and cronyism is delivered by fire hose from the right-of-center media, and by an occasional dribble from the dominant Leftmedia outlets. Unfortunately, the significance of her corruption and cronyism tends to become lost in the now-meaningless hyperbole of ubiquitous "News Alert" banners.. Read more here
7 Ways Democrat Policies Are Killing America’s Inner Cities Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:37 AM PDT For decades, the Democratic party has pushed policies that have turned America's inner cites into islands of profound impoverishment — neighborhoods where shattered families are often housed, doctored, educated, and fed by bureaucrats. There's a misery in many of America's inner cities that projects perpetual poverty. Below are seven truths about how the Democratic party's policies are destroying America's inner cities, all while taking the voters who live there for granted. Middle class Americans and African-Americans in inner cities in this country aren't benefiting from ObamaCare compared to other groups. According to an extensive 65-page report by The Urban Institute, obtaining coverage has been much harder for black Americans than it has been for Hispanics and American Indians. In February, black business owners railed against the Obama administration's decision to funnel millions in Obamacare subsidies to illegal immigrants. Hardworking black Americans in America's inner cities are being crushed under the weight of an illegal alien workforce, ever expanding as a direct result of the policies of President Obama. Senator Attends Shore Meeting On Opioid Epidemic Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:30 AM PDT SALISBURY — It's easier to find a drug dealer than it is to find help. That stark observation was one of several shared with U.S. Senator Ben Cardin during a roundtable discussion on the state's opioid epidemic Wednesday. The event, held at Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC), gave local medical officials, law enforcement officers and business people the chance to voice their thoughts and concerns on the area's growing heroin problem. "The crisis is a reality," said Peggy Naleppa PRMC's president and CEO. "It touches all of us directly or indirectly. It's not going away." According to Naleppa, PRMC, the eighth largest hospital in Maryland, treated 82 heroin overdoses in 2014. That number increased to 100 in 2015. By May of this year, doctors had already treated 171 patients for heroin overdoses. "We can effect change," she said. "That's why we're here." More
Donald Trump Is Going To Be Elected Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:23 AM PDT Donald Trump is going to be elected president. The American people voted for him a long time ago. They voted for him when The History Channel went from showing documentaries about the Second World War to "Pawn Stars" and "Swamp People." They voted for him when The Discovery Channel went from showing "Lost Treasures of the Yangtze Valley" to "Naked and Afraid." They voted for him when The Learning Channel moved from something you could learn from to "My 600-lb Life." They voted for him when CBS went from airing "Harvest of Shame" to airing "Big Brother." These networks didn't make these programming changes by accident. They were responding to what the American people actually wanted. And what they wanted was "Naked and Afraid" and "Duck Dynasty." The polls may show that Donald Trump is losing to Hillary Clinton, but don't you believe those polls. When the AC Nielsen Company selects a new Nielsen family, they disregard the new family's results for the first three months. The reason: when they feel they are being monitored, people lie about what they are watching. In the first three months, knowing they are being watched, they will tune into PBS. But over time they get tired of pretending. Then it is back to the Kardashians. The same goes for people who are being asked by pollsters for whom they are voting. They will not say Donald Trump. It is too embarrassing. But the truth is, they like Trump. He is just like their favorite shows on TV. More

Burns said, "The fact of the matter is, unlike what the media was trying to portray, Donald Trump has a lot of African-American supporters. More than the polls would ever show." He continued, "The people I talk to daily—I wear my Donald Trump shirt everywhere I go and you would you be surprised the supporters who are black and Hispanic and different ethnic groups who say they support Donald Trump. Republican calls grow for second look at Clinton case Posted: 27 Aug 2016 07:00 AM PDT More than seven weeks after FBI Director James Comey's July 5 announcement closing the case on Hillary Clinton's personal email use, Republican calls are growing for prosecutors to take a closer look – at everything from perjury questions to the tangled dealings with Clinton Foundation donors during the candidate's tenure leading the State Department. And on Thursday, Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy pointed out another potential problem with the bureau's original email investigation. After viewing the FBI's tightly held file on the case, the South Carolina congressman told Fox News it doesn't appear investigators asked Clinton about the issue that was the basis for not pursuing charges – known as "intent." Restaurants In D.C. Slash Jobs After Minimum Wage Hike Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:53 AM PDT A few days ago we wrote about the job losses starting to pile up in Seattle in the wake of that city's passage of a $15 minimum wage (see "Something "Unexpected" Happened When Seattle Raised The Minimum Wage"). In that post, we noted that seemingly no amount of empirical evidence would ever be sufficient to convince certain elected officials that setting artificially high labor rates would ultimately only serve to hurt the people at the lower end of the pay spectrum due to permanent job losses. Seemingly no amount of empirical evidence can convince progressives that raising minimum wages to artificially elevated levels is a bad idea. Somehow the basic idea that raising the cost of a good ultimately results in lower consumption of that good just doesn't compute. Though it does seem odd that progressives in states like California lean heavily on higher taxes as a way to curb, for example, fuel consumption. Could it be that the left actually does understand the basic economics of the minimum wage debate but don't find the math behind it to be particularly "politically expedient" in certain instances? Despite the futility of our efforts, we thought we would offer up one more example of minimum wage hikes killing jobs for low-income workers. This example comes from Washington D.C. For those not familiar, back in early June, the City Council of Washington D.C. passed legislation to raise the District's minimum wage from $10.50 per hour to $15.00 by 2020. Minimum wage in the District was already scheduled to increase to $11.50 in July 2016 and the remaining increase will be phased in over the next 4 years. More
1/3 of Abedin emails 100% redacted Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:45 AM PDT Information on Clinton server too sensitive even for Congress NEW YORK – Judicial Watch's release this week of 725 pages of State Department emails involving Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin demonstrates the Obama administration considers a large percentage of the emails sent through Clinton's private server too sensitive for Congress or the American public to read. Of the 725 pages, more than 250 pages were 100 percent redacted, many with "PAGE DENIED" stamped in bold. Judicial Watch said the new cache includes previously unreleased email exchanges in which former Abedin "provided influential Clinton Foundation donors special, expedited access to the secretary of state." Judicial Watch added that in many instances, the preferential treatment provided to donors was at the specific request of Clinton Foundation executive Douglas Band. More
Nigel Farage to Trump Rally: 'You Can Beat the Pollsters... Mr. Farage – who led his party (UKIP) to victory in the 2014 European Parliamentary elections, to a whopping 4m votes in the 2015 UK general election, and mostly importantly, to Britain voting to leave the European Union in 2016 – has used the "People's Army" moniker to describe his party's supporters for years. Activist pushing for Harriet Tubman statue at State House Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:30 AM PDT Harriet Tubman is coming to the $20 bill. Supporters want her at the Maryland State House, too. The student activist who led the successful push to rename the University of Maryland football stadium is trying to jump-start a movement to erect a statue of Harriet Tubman on the grounds of the Maryland State House. The area surrounding the capitol building has long been controversial because it houses a statue of Roger Taney, the Supreme Court justice who authored the proslavery Dred Scott decision. A compromise struck in the mid-1990s kept the Taney statue on the grounds while adding a statue of Thurgood Marshall, the first African American appointed to the nation's highest court. More
Sessions: ‘Something Big Is Happening’ — ‘People Are Taking Their Country Back’ Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:23 AM PDT TAMPA – Wednesday at the Florida State Fairgrounds, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) joined GOP nominee Donald Trump on the campaign trail to tout why Trump was the best presidential choice for Americans. During his five-minute introduction of Trump, Sessions declared Trump would implement immigration and economic policies that would best suit America's national interest. "Thank you for being part of a movement that's going to put America on the right track again," Sessions said to the Tampa crowd. "You know the American people are right. They are right consistently if you just listen to them. They want a lawful system of immigration that serves the national interest. What's wrong with that? We've had politicians promise for 30 years they are going to fix this system and have never done it. And Donald Trump will build a wall and fix it." There is another issue and that's jobs and wages," he added. "If you bring in more workers than we have jobs for, don't we reduce wages and make Americans unemployed? That's why wages have declined significantly. Also bad trade deals that close high-paying manufacturing facilities. Doesn't that eliminate good jobs and result in lower wages for the average American out there today? It absolutely does and Donald Trump understands both of those. He stood up for you. He stood up for America against the establishment to advocate for reform in both of those areas." More
Soros Strategy: ‘Globalization’ Will ‘Increase Migration Pressures’ Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:15 AM PDT George Soros's Open Society Foundations (OSF) is anticipating an increase in "migration pressures in the coming decades" due in part to "globalization," according to a leaked memo outlining a proposed strategy for successfully influencing immigration policy. The memo, which was published by "hacktivist" group DCLeaks, contains a proposed strategy for OSF's International Migration Initiative, which aims to influence global immigration policy. The proposed strategy previews the organization's work from 2016 to 2019. "IMI's work on migration is set against a volatile backdrop. More people than ever before are crossing borders in search of safety and a better life, while in nearly every region xenophobia, populism, and hostility towards migrants are on the rise," notes the memo. "In some contexts, governments manage migration through guest worker programs that restrict migrants' rights by tying them to short-term jobs, satisfying business demand for cheap labor while also appeasing anti-migrant sentiment. Elsewhere, governments pursue policies of deterrence and enforcement designed to keep migrants out. IMI's work responds to both trends." "The fierce opposition to immigration reforms in the US and Europe, rising numbers of deaths in the Mediterranean, and record numbers of unaccompanied children point to a breakdown in the governance and public acceptance of migration," the memo continues. "This will be amplified as demographic forces, globalization, climate change, and conflicts increase migration pressures in the coming decades." More here
Judge Orders Release of Hidden Clinton Emails from Week of Benghazi Attack Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:07 AM PDT A U.S. judge ordered the State Department on Thursday to release by Sept. 13 any emails it finds between Hillary Clinton and the White House from the week of the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, among the thousands of additional emails uncovered by federal investigators. Judge William Dimitrouleas of the U.S. District Court in southern Florida made his order in response to a request by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch. More here
LEGENDARY COMMENTS BY GEORGE CHEVALLIER Posted: 27 Aug 2016 06:00 AM PDT A Most Remarkable Woman The picture above is what I call "a poor woman's cameo". It is not made of finely carved stone but is made of celluloid. Depending on how you view it, it can be the silhouette of a woman or a flower. It does not hang from a fine gold or silver chain, but is adorned with only a simple ribbon. This was the best piece of jewelry my grandmother had at the turn of the 20th century. It clearly defines how she lived her entire life - very simple. As all adolescents try various means of attracting attention, one attribute that God gave my grandmother was ample cleavage. Her mother always made her put a handkerchief under her dress to hide anything revealing when she went out. She confided to my sister one time that the handkerchief was quickly removed upon exiting the stern view of her mother. She never learned to drive a car; she never was in an airplane. Her formal education ended after the third grade. But for all the shortages of adolescent advantages that children have today, she was born with a wisdom that is seldom encountered in this day and age. As she got on in life and could afford it, she always bought two pairs of shoes at a time. One was for when she got dressed in the morning and the second was utilized after her noontime nap. The second pair was a size larger to allow for the normal swelling that would occur during the day. I have never heard of anyone else doing this. When she weeded her garden, she always shook the weed before casting it in the driveway for later pick-up. I asked her about this one time and she said she could grow more weeds but she could not grow more dirt, therefore she saved it. The only thing I have from her house is one of those small "pinked edge" signs that were sold in souvenir shops of the day. It is still on my computer as the screen-saver. It is a motto to live by – "Happiness is liking what you're doing – not doing what you like." You would think that when she finally passed in 1986 at 98 years old, she would have a house full of antiques. She had none. All her life, she replaced anything old with something new when she could afford it. She had absolutely no sentimentality about anything. She told me one time that there are two things that you should never do – cry or worry – because neither one of them ever solved a damned thing. Think about it! I asked her one time when she was in her early nineties what was her formula for life. She always seemed to have everything under control. Her reply was, "I sleep when I'm tired, I eat when I'm hungry and I do something when I damn well feel like it". She was deaf for the last 60 years of her life. I asked her one time if that bothered her. She said it didn't because people don't have much to say anyway and, if it was that important, they would put it in the newspaper. Watching television with her was quite an experience. She never had the sound on and, due to the fact that color TV would "give you cancer"; she only watched it in black and white. Yet, she could tell from the expressions of the actors or newscasters just what was going on. This was my grandmother – one of the most remarkable women I have ever known.
Posted: 27 Aug 2016 05:30 AM PDT Blogger and podcaster Sonnie Johnson joined Breitbart's Washington Political Editor Matt Boyle on Thursday's Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM to discuss Hillary Clinton's scheduled speech in Nevada – in which, as Boyle put it, "she's going to call all of us racists," by building the "alt-right" into a menace and tying it to Donald Trump's presidential campaign. "I think this is her easiest route to try to get some enthusiasm in the black community," said Johnson. "A lot of the black community did not see her as a candidate, and thought they saw an alternative in Bernie Sanders," she explained. "So when Bernie Sanders basically just got routed, got cheated, as Hillary did everything she possibly could to make sure he had no chance, no hope, a lot of younger black Americans especially started to see the Democratic Party for what it is." "You don't have to bring the Democratic Party down, because they will bring themselves down, because they are so freakin' terrible," Johnson declared. "People will start to see them very clearly, and a lot of younger black America has seen that.." More here
Williams: College Campus Lunacy Posted: 27 Aug 2016 05:00 AM PDT As the fall semester begins, parents, students, taxpayers and donors should be made aware of official college practices that should disgust us all. Hampshire College will offer some of its students what the school euphemistically calls "identity-based housing." That's segregated housing for students who — because of their race, culture, gender or sexual orientation — have "historically experienced oppression." I'd bet the rent money that Hampshire College will not offer Jewish, Irish, Polish, Chinese or Catholic students segregated housing. Because there is no group of people who have not faced oppression, Hampshire College is guilty of religious and ethnic discrimination in its housing segregation policy. University of Connecticut administrators think that more black men will graduate if they spend more time together. According to Campus Reform, they are building a new residence hall to facilitate just that. Dr. Erik Hines, the faculty director for the program, said that the learning community "is a space for African-American men to … come together and validate their experiences that they may have on campus. … It's also a space where they can have conversation and also talk with individuals who come from the same background who share the same experience." By the way, Hampshire College and the University of Connecticut are not alone in promoting racially segregated student housing. Then there's an effort for racial segregation in classes. Moraine Valley Community College attempted it in a class titled "College: Changes, Challenges, Choices." It mandated that some class sections be "limited to African-American students." The college defended racially segregated classes by saying that they make students "feel comfortable." After facing massive national notoriety, the college just recently abandoned its racial segregation agenda. More

Ocean City Backs Off 30-Foot Noise Rule Enforcement After ACLU Threat Posted: 27 Aug 2016 02:30 AM PDT OCEAN CITY — After a threat of legal action over enforcement of the 30-foot noise rule for Boardwalk street performers, a rule struck down by a federal court three years ago, the Town of Ocean City has apparently acquiesced to a demand filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) earlier this week to halt the practice. The incident arose in late July when Boardwalk street performer Ion Ionescu was first issued a verbal warning and later a written citation for violating the 30-foot noise rule for buskers on the Boardwalk. However, the ACLU intervened, pointing out a U.S. District Court judge in 2013 permanently enjoined Ocean City police from enforcing the 30-foot rule, which the high court deemed as a violation of First Amendment rights. Since that court decision in 2013 in favor of long-time Boardwalk performer William Hassay, the town's street performer ordinance has been rewritten, erased and written again, but somehow the 30-foot rule prohibited by a federal judge has remained in effect in Ocean City. In a letter from ACLU of Maryland Legal Director Deborah Jeon to the town in early August, Ocean City police continue to evoke the 30-foot rule for performers even after a federal judge struck it down three years ago. "We write on behalf of violinists William Hassay and Ion Ionescu, as well as other Ocean City Boardwalk performers, about the contemptuous enforcement and threats of enforcement of the 30-foot noise ordinance that was permanently enjoined by the U.S. District Court on Dec. 13, 2014," the letter reads. "We urge you, in the strongest terms, to act immediately to purge this contempt, so that we do not need to seek remedial orders and penalties from the Court." More

CEO Who Jacked Price of EpiPen Dodged Taxes And Has Disturbing Family Link Posted: 27 Aug 2016 12:41 AM PDT Pharmaceutical company Mylan drove the price of the EpiPen — a lifesaving necessity for many allergy sufferers — up 400 percent, according to Bloomberg. As if that weren't bad enough, the story took another turn for the worse. The Los Angeles Times reported that not only did Mylan drive the price of this lifesaving product up, the company also avoided paying taxes. As it hiked up the price of this lifesaving medication, it was dodging its own tax responsibility. Moreover, the CEO of Mylan was Heather Bresch, the daughter of Democrat West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin. The Hill reported that Bresch could be called to testify before Congress, which would certainly be an awkward family reunion situation. Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., was one of several members of Congress to speak out about the situation. More
