Trump Opposes Voting by Mail: 'People Cheat'

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 08:15 AM PDT

President Donald Trump on Friday said voting by mail in the November presidential election would be a bad idea.

The coronavirus pandemic threatens the upcoming election and mail voting is the voting method that best preserves social distancing.

"No, because I think a lot of people cheat with mail-in voting. I think people should vote with ID, voter ID. I think voter ID is very important, and the reason they don't want voter ID is because they intend to cheat," Trump said during the daily White House briefing on the COVID-19 pandemic.

WE HAVE 1 SHOT AT THIS AND WE HAVE 1 SHOT ONLY- WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW !!!!

Statement by Matt Odachowski- "I am watching a horror movie in slow motion. You sense what is going to happen, you know what is going to happen but you can't stop the actor from walking into the trap. We are now that actor,  and this is the horror movie we all are in. The message MUST BE LOUD AND CLEAR and we MUST work together NOW to help minimize the Tidal wave that is fast approaching…….I pray that I am wrong but unfortunately, I am NOT"

Wishing you ALL the best!  PLEASE STAY SAFE, STAY STRONG, AND DO YOUR PART !

The last few weeks have been extremely stressful on us ALL and WE MUST REALIZE THIS IS GOING TO GET WORST BEFORE IT GETS BETTER.   I wanted to share a song with everyone and it turned out amazing.  Karri Daley is an incredible singer from Key West and she was going to do a trade show along with her NEW CD RELEASE/autograph signing with the Royal Plus team in Orlando. Unfortunately it was cancelled because of this new virus and I challenged her to help spread the word on washing your hands and don't touch your face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzM-JyVwhQc Since COV-19 appeared - life has changed for us all and will continue until we ALL make a difference.  I wrote down an idea, a lot of words and Karri took a few of those words along with her gift and changed them to a whole new level. So when you see me in the grocery store , hardware store or work and I am staying at least 6 feet away from you , wearing gloves, a mask, know that I am protecting YOU, know that I am protecting ME,  know that I am protecting MY team , know that I am protecting MY friends and know that I am protecting  MY family. All of us should do the same and it is okay.  I am PROUD of you for doing so. A big THANK YOU for those who had a mask and gloves on and took the time to wipe down their shopping cart today.  My family and I appreciate it and I witnessed quite a few people today wearing masks while shopping and I commend you for being strong, knowing what is right.  If we don't all pitch in, it could be your parents, your siblings, your kids, your friends or even you or me. Enough of this BULLSHIT that this is like the flu, it is NOT and COV-19 IS HIGHLY contagious. Reports have shown that it can stay alive up to 17 days on a hard surface if conditions are right, reports state it can live in the air for up to 3 days and reports state it can live on your shoes up to  5 days. If we all don't do our part we will experience what other parts of the country and the world are experiencing now. YOU MUST HELP NOW!
I said a lot more prayers lately and I also thought of how lucky I have been in life but I am not ready to go yet.  The last two weeks of phone calls with our strategic partners, our first responders and our health care providers made me realize that they needed our help NOW.  We WILL NOT GET A SECOND CHANCE AT HELPING AND WE MUST HELP THEM GET TO HIGHER GROUND NOW".  I was receiving many, many calls from around the country and the shortage of PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT' (PPE) was the topic of EVERY conversation.  Personal Protection Equipment was needed by ALL and included the paramedics, the police,  the firemen along with all the health care providers and infection control companies. I was getting calls from multiple states and it was the same disturbing message. We have health care providers that need PPE,  we will run out soon or they said we have no PPE but the dedicated continue to help patients.!!!
We rely on the Police, the Paramedics,  the Firemen and the Health care providers every day and they protect our families and friends along with putting their lives on the line.  It is now time for ALL of us to step up and protect them. They need money to buy much needed supplies and they really do need it NOW.  They can get these supplies, but with demand they are way, way too much money. However,  they can get them and we need them to have it. The entire world is going after the same supplies and it has made it very , very difficult. States are actually out bidding each other on the PPE and is creating even more of an issue.  In 36 years of business I have never had calls with the people on the other end begging for PPE.  Unfortunately, most of the calls I received the last two weeks were just that and is very disturbing.  I challenge you to donate what you can, either PPE or money to your local providers (Police, Paramedics, Fire Stations and Health Care Facilities).  They need to be protected and they need your help NOW! Time is of the essence and we need to get the PPE in place NOW.
OPERATION WE CARE HAS BEEN HELPING OUR COMMUNITY FOR OVER 13 YEARS AND THE WORK THEY ARE DOING IS JUST AMAZING. Operation We Care has agreed to  accept the cash donations and there will be a team trying to track down and purchase the needed items for our LOCAL First Responders. To make it clear-your donation is tax deductible and your money will be spent 100 percent on PPE for our first responders and our health care providers.
We as a company have donated a lot supplies, disinfectant, face shields, N-95s, hand sanitizer, skin barrier, air scrubbers use and other equipment use and we will continue to do so but we need your help. This is about protecting the first responders and our communities. WE ALL NEED THE FIRST RESPONDERS AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AND WE APPRECIATE WHAT THEY DO FOR OUR COMMUNITES!  I want to thank my competitors, strategic partners, local businesses, subcontractors, friends , family and all of those who have stepped up to the plate……WE are doing the right thing and I CHALLENGE YOU ALL to jump aboard. WE CAN NOT LET THE LOCAL HEALTH CARE GET OVER WHELMED !!
I am posting this complete message in Memory of Chris Trimper along with the donations we make to the First Responders and Health Care providers. Chris was an incredible Person, Son, Brother, Dad Husband and Friend.  Chris  gave so much back to the community and I know one call to him and he would have been leading the charge on protecting our entire community in a time of need.  "You made us proud, you touched many lives. So little time together, yet you will live in our hearts forever".  Chris will continue to be remembered for generations to come because of his commitments in life. Please make donations to operationwecare.org  and click on "Royal Plus Protect our First Responders Now)  -  We get 1 shot at this at we NEED YOUR HELP !  I repeat- We get 1 shot at this and we NEED YOUR HELP!

I am also thanking our First Responders, Health Care Providers and encourage our families, our co- workers and our communities to help.  Please listen to the words of the song,  forward it along and share with your family, community and let's spread the word that we have to keep social distancing, "Wash your Hands and Don't Touch Your Face ". YOUR local First Responders NEED your donations NOW and YOU CAN make a difference.  Please stay safe, stay strong and do your part PLEASE!

Remember " Being Positive is Contagious"  and is the Royal Plus/ RPCAT company motto-
Please forward this message to everyone you know.  This is a USA – LOCAL COMMUNITY effort and is needed NOW!!   Please e mail the SBYNEWS with what you have done to help your community at Alberobutzo@wmconnect.com.  Normally we do most donations under the radar but we need to  ALL YELL IT LOUD AND YELL IT PROUD NOW. Let's work together and encourage others to do the same. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Respectfully, Matt Odachowski. Royal Plus/ RPCAT

A Viewer Writes: CURRENT CONDITIONS AT PRMC

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT

I'm writing in regards to the current conditions at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. The situation is dire!

Firstly, this post will be a little long, but it deserves the attention of the general public. We ALL know that PRMC buys so much in advertising (hundreds of thousands of dollars) from the 3 main "news" agencies will not dare publish anything that shines a bad light on PRMC.

- Did you notice that the Wicomico County Health Department didn't disclose where the latest Caronavirus came from? Guess who provides funding to the Wicomico County Health Department? That's right, PRMC. So, why didn't they release the location? Because it happened at PRMC. The Wicomico County Health Department determined it was transmitted by someone working at PRMC. Who could it be? What position could they be holding? Were any patients exposed?

- The hospital is COMPLETELY out of one basic cleaning agent: bleach wipes (they are literally used to wipe down just about everything). Now they are basically pouring bleach on paper towels. The cleaners are complaining about how they cannot properly sanitize hospital rooms properly, including the rooms that held COVID-19 patients, therefore exposing new patients to infection. It's vitally important to sanitize every room as if every room held a COVID-19 patient. A COVID-19 patient could have the virus and not show symptoms during their stay in the hospital; leaving the virus for the next fool to go to PRMC.

- The hospital claims they are being very proactive, but they still reusing medical equipment on multiple patients. If you go to the ER, they are still putting reused blood pressure cuffs and pulse oximeters on patients. Those two pieces of equipment are "reusable", or the hospital seems to think so; even during a very contagious pandemic. They'll claim that they get sanitized. I can guarantee you, that's a lie. Even when a COVID-19 patient comes into the ER, they use the same equipment; when the COVID-19 patient gets admitted to main hospital or discharged to recover at home, they will "sanitize" those pieces of medical equipment, and reuse them on the next patient. I'm certain that this disease will find more people to infect at PRMC. If you really, really, really must go to the ER at PRMC, make sure to ask for a disposable blood pressure cuff, and pulse oximeter when you get to your room.

- PRMC has failed to have enough PPE on hand to protect workers. As the CDC is on the verge of issuing a directive that would advise people to wear face masks, PRMC administrators have told those who aren't doctors, CNAs, or RNs, that they will no longer be issuing them a face mask. They may reuse their face mask if they would like.

- PRMC still has not completed a single COVID-19 test in house. Why? They can't pass quality control testing, therefore they must send all their specimens to an outside lab, and that delays getting an accurate diagnosis.

- While other hospitals are going out in the community and being proactive, and setting up testing sites, and yet PRMC is just sputtering along.

- Why are people involved in direct patient care wearing the same PPE between patients? It will help keep the staff safe but it will mean sharing germs between patients. Like COVID-19, MRSA, VRE, C-diff, etc.

- If you must go to the ER, just know that ER rooms that begin with 4 or 5 are the same rooms they are sticking COVID-19 patients. Be wary.

- Does social distancing not apply to hospital staff behind the nurses station? I don't know if they've seen the high number of medical personnel that have tested positive. But they need to realize that they aren't immune behind the nurses station, especially with no PPE on. A whole unit will be out of service.

- Will President and CEO Steve Leonard get his 6 figure bonus? Will he actually profit off COVID-19. Just give it back Steve, we will be watching you.

- Lastly, there has been a hemorrhage at PRMC. An insane number of people have left PRMC recently. Just the ER alone has lost 13 nurses. Why are they leaving? Is it effecting hospital readiness?

City of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

CodeRED Message from City Manager Sharon Lynn

All residents of the City of Rehoboth Beach have been urged to shelter in place, to stay at home and not leave your houses unless absolutely necessary as confirmed cases of the disease continue to rise daily. As reported just a few hours ago by the Delaware Division of Public Health there have been 214 total laboratory-confirmed cases in the state since March 11 and 59 of these are from Sussex County. The total number of positive cases represents a cumulative total since the pandemic began.

We continue to urge all second homeowners in the City to heed warnings and ask everyone to think of your neighbors and your families, and to protect your own health by sheltering in your primary homes. This is a pandemic. In a small community like ours, hospitals do not have the beds and staff for the growing number of COVID-19 cases that could affect our City. Please consider the impacts of potentially and unknowingly being a carrier of the virus and possibly infecting others. Please consider coming to your second home when circumstances improve. Our primary goal is public safety for all! Nothing is more important at this time than doing everything we can to 'flatten the curve' and slow the spread of COVID-19 so that our health care system is not overwhelmed.

Rest assured Mayor Kuhns is in communication with Governor Carney often. The Commissioners monitor all contact regularly and are frequently in touch with the Mayor and me. Should other emergency measures be warranted we will inform you immediately. We have been able to use electronic sign boards to transmit messages advising the public of closures and the police department now has an emergency message they are broadcasting on the Boardwalk and beach to keep people from exercising themselves and their dogs.

Please understand that your City Government is operating within the State of Emergency. Although it is the weekend, we continue to work off-site and emergency responders throughout the City are working 24/7 with one goal-to keep you all safe and informed. We are trying very hard to provide clear and concise information. Please contact us by email to allow time to answer your questions and please check the City's website atcityofrehoboth.com frequently as messages are added often.

We must be united, vigilant and stick together. We will get through these trying times.

New Orleans Mayor: Trump Should Have Warned Us to Stop Mardi Gras

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT

Thursday on CNN, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell said her city was given "no red flag" from Homeland Security, FBI or the CDC to cancel the Mardi Gras celebrations to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

She argued the agencies follow the "response of our national leader," who Cantrell said was not taking it seriously.

Anchor Wolf Blitzer said, "Experts say, Mayor, that the Mardi Gras celebrations at the end of February in New Orleans may have actually played a role in accelerating the spread of this virus. More than a million people came to your beautiful city at the time. We are showing some video of that right now. At the time, Mayor, did you have any guidance from health experts on the potential risk of coronavirus?"

Cantrell answered, "Well, you know that the city of New Orleans as it relates to Mardi Gras, we plan Mardi Gras as a year-long effort. Around a part of our unified command is the federal government. Homeland Security, as well as the FBI. So in reaching out, meaning my health directors and public safety officials, every step of the way consulted with federal partners as well as the CDC in reference to COVID-19."

She continued, "The federal government did not issue any red flags and, therefore, we moved forward with federal agents being a part of our unified command on the ground. And with the first time the city of New Orleans for Mardi Gras, we're at a rating that was an improvement given to us by the federal government. So every step of the way, the federal government has been partners with us with Mardi Gras. No red flags were given. So absolutely, we moved forward."

‘In Two Weeks Around Easter, We’re Going To Be Looking A Lot Like New York’, Gov. Larry Hogan Says

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT

Publishers Notes: OK Idiot, then why haven't you ordered a shelter in place order before it's too late!

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Gov. Larry Hogan says he believes that the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area will be looking "a lot like New York," by Easter.

The Chairmen of the Governors Association and Maryland governor spoke on Fox News Sunday about the coronavirus pandemic and some of the messaging coming out of the White House

President Donald Trump said last week that some of the social distancing measures will be able to be relaxed soon, and life could be going back to normal, possibly even by Easter.

Gov. Hogan spoke on CNN's New Day show later that week, saying that some of the messaging coming out of the White House is "pretty confusing.", adding his team didn't believe cases have reached their peak yet in the state.

Maryland Man Arrested for Having 60 People Over for Bonfire, Violating Social Distancing Orders

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT

A Charles County, Maryland, man who threw a party at his house has unintentionally social-distanced himself from everyone after authorities say he was arrested for refusing to comply with the governor's order against large gatherings.

Shawn Marshall Myers, 41, was arrested Friday night after officers found about 60 people hanging out around a bonfire at his home in Hughesville, the Charles County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's office said it was the second time Myers had hosted a large gathering since Gov. Larry Hogan's emergency order banning gatherings of more than 10 people went into effect. Deputies responded to his house on March 22 after receiving another complaint about a party there.

While the US Postal Service fights for its life financially, 2,000 of its workers are in quarantine and dozens have tested positive for the coronavirus

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT

The US Postal Service is in crisis, with lawmakers warning that plunging mail volumes could shut it down by June without "urgent" financial help — threatening everything from critical medicine deliveries and vote by mail to a third of Amazon orders.

But the crisis is far more than financial. The National Association of Letter Carriers, the union representing USPS city carriers, said 51 USPS employees had tested positive for COVID-19 as of Wednesday. On top of that, nearly 2,000 were in quarantine.

"As the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases have increased throughout the general public, so too have been the number of postal employees who have tested positive," a statement from the union's president, Fredric Rolando, read. "About half of the postal employees are quarantined by order of public health officials and half have chosen to self-quarantine."
